18/05/2026: We were so lucky to celebrate our wedding in this idyllic setting! From the brilliant organization of the entire event by Anne and her team, to the execution on the day itself, everything was perfect! Our guests had a wonderful time, and the decorations (springlike during our visit) were magical! The greenery, the decor, the lighting, even the ambiance of the rooms—everything is there to ensure you have a truly wonderful experience! Thank you again for the warm welcome and flawless support!

08/05/2026: A huge thank you to Anne and her entire team. We had an unforgettable wedding in a magical setting. Anne guided us through every step of the preparations. On the big day, we had a wonderful evening, thanks to Chef Guillaume for the meal, and the following day we finished with a magnificent brunch. Not to mention the beautiful rooms where we stayed. In short, everything was perfect.

19/08/2026: Well, first and last time! I ordered spaghetti carrozza. The ingredients? There are four, and they managed to forget two 😅 The cherry tomatoes are actually a large, chopped raw tomato! And there are no parmesan shavings. It's just watery pasta with a hint of basil, haha.

07/08/2026: The welcome was friendly, however, the service was very slow. We had to wait 55 minutes for our pasta dishes! Although the food was good, the wait was unbearable, both for the main courses and desserts. Furthermore, the staff didn't always clear the table after the aperitif. Finally, the tables weren't even spaced a meter apart, which didn't make for a pleasant experience.

07/08/2026: The service was horribly slow, the bread was served in a cheap bag, and I suggest you go to this restaurant if you want to overhear other people's conversations because you're packed in like sardines – less than a meter between each table. On the plus side (the gnocchi).

24/05/2026: Dinner tonight was simply excellent from start to finish, without a single flaw, which is rare. The food, wine, and soft drink pairings were perfect, and the staff was very professional and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves; in my opinion, it was excellent value for money.

23/05/2026: We were a group of about thirty people. A large private room was reserved for the occasion. All the guests were dazzled. The dishes were refined and the seasonings perfectly balanced. The flavor combinations were sophisticated and often original, and the execution was near perfection. The dishes lived up to their promise. The fish (ultra-fresh) was cooked to an exceptional degree of precision and beautifully presented. The service was stylish, efficient, friendly, and seamless. A very well-oiled team who knew what they were talking about when asked for details about the dishes served. A huge congratulations to this team who proudly represent Breton gastronomy while also showcasing their originality! A must-visit.

17/05/2026: Excellent stay at this hotel, I highly recommend it! The staff is extremely welcoming, friendly, and always available. The location is ideal: quiet yet close to the motorway, Spain, Saint-Jean-de-Luz, etc. The room was clean, comfortable, and very pleasant. A wonderful experience; we will gladly return.

16/05/2026: We got married at Les Jardins de Bakea on April 25, 2026, and we want to thank Corine and Eric Duval and their entire team from the bottom of our hearts for this perfect moment. Everyone was extremely professional and welcoming, both during the preparations and on the wedding day itself. The cocktail hour was fantastic, the meal delicious, and the setting charming. Once again, we couldn't have dreamed of anything better for this special day. Thank you again, Thomas and Sarah.

24/05/2026: Why am I so enthusiastic? I spent the Pentecost weekend (Saturday and Sunday) at this establishment located on the banks of the Vendée River. If you love nature, you'll be delighted by this completely natural and unspoiled environment, listening to the birdsong: wood pigeons, domestic pigeons, golden orioles—that rare migratory bird with its distinctive call—and the countless frogs croaking in unison until the end of the night. The welcome was warm and empathetic, the room and its adjoining rooms offered simple comfort but were remarkably clean and furnished with very comfortable furniture. The food was outstanding; the dishes weren't sophisticated but were well-prepared and delicious. The appetizers are fantastic. The wines: excellent choices at very reasonable prices. The service, assisted by apprentices from the hotel school, is impeccable, presenting the dishes with the academic flair of a Michelin-starred restaurant, though with occasional minor imperfections that bring a smile to the face of a seasoned diner who, without any hint of malice, shares his experience with them, demonstrating the pedagogical skill befitting these dedicated young women who could be...his grandchildren. In conclusion: an establishment worth discovering, and "quality/price"? Nowhere else...👏👏
