The atmosphere is cozy. The food is good.
Today we had the daily special (chirashi), pork tonkatsu, and gyudon. The dishes are very good, well-cooked, and the prices are reasonable. I'll be back.
31/05/2025: Excellent food, except for the tempura which was too oily and the waiter who made fun of us every time we mispronounced the names of the dishes.

09/05/2025: Our group of 25 people was very well received. The meal was in full compliance with what was agreed upon when booking, impeccable, professional and smiling service. Everything was ready at the agreed time. Beautiful room. Value for money as we like :-) A great address!

30/09/2024: La gentillesse et l’accueil les maîtres mots dans ce relais. La village d’un calme olympique pour celles et ceux qui veulent s’évader du quotidien.
15/09/2024: Très bon rapport qualité/prix.Bel environnement malgré une route qui mène à l'autoroute.
La cuisine est bonne, les produits semblent frais.
Les chambres du gite sont simples mais propres et calmes. Parfait après une journée de marche.
L' accueil est simple et agréable, on est un peu chez soi.
Rien de compliqué et je recommande

29/09/2024: The first time we were very well received...a very nice waitress and (certainly the boss), we were upstairs. The second time we were served on the ground floor I suppose by the owner and there...total disappointment ☹this gentleman is really unpleasant...it's shameful...we are not dogs, you earn your living thanks to the people like us....it's a shame because the dishes are good....sir a smile never killed anyone.

The cuisine is excellent, full of flavor, beautifully presented and homemade!
The quality/price ratio defies all competition! Eating in a restaurant without spending too much is becoming rare...
Special mention to the spring rolls and grilled duck with 5 flavors! A real delight!

17/11/2024: Discovered by chance after visiting the Château de Villandry, it was a big favorite!
A 10-minute drive from the castle and a stone's throw from the Loire, this little house next to the church is a little moment of happiness.
Marrow bones, snails, beef bourguignon raviolles, Puma, banana flambé with caramel... we enjoyed ourselves from start to finish.
Thank you for the welcome and this delicious time spent at the table.
11/11/2024: A beautiful bistro cuisine made with a very friendly sharing of flavors in a beautiful atmosphere like a duck foie gras accompanied by good wines from our regions and soft toy music by a young guitarist who will delight you for a Friday evening

23/11/2024: A beautiful, cozy/trendy establishment which offers, during the week, a high-calorie daily menu (like this generous sauerkraut), with dessert, drinks, for a "worker" price. For dessert, I recommend the "house" waffle. The service is efficient, although there may be a "bug" if two different people serve the same table.

09/08/2024: De passage à Florac pour une virée en moto, nous avons cherché un endroit où déjeuner, qui relèverait le pari d’être typique et sans trop d’attente.
La salamandre a coché toutes les cases.
Menu qui propose du local, pas excessif en plein mois d’août et avec un service souriant.
La position en plein centre ville permet d’aller faire un tour à pieds après le repas pour prolonger agréablement la pause méridienne.
Nous avons passé un bon moment, je recommande!

01/09/2024: Arrivé sans réservation a deux adultes et trois enfants, nous avons été pris aussitôt. Service rapide et cuisine vraiment délicieuse. C'est la deuxième fois que nous y allons et nous n'avons pas été déçus. Serveurs vraiment très courtois et souriants. Nous y retournerons sans hésiter.
Petit bémol : il faudrait que la ville agisse rapidement pour les guêpes qui envahissent les terrasses.
