12/03/2026: A truly varied selection of crêpes, galettes, and salads! We ate there twice this week and received a very warm welcome, full of humor and kindness. They gave us excellent advice, and we even got to try their chestnut ice cream and Paris-Brest pastry. Nico and Christelle are wonderful people, and we also caught a glimpse of the chef, who is always smiling and very welcoming. One thing is for sure: next time we're in the area, we'll be back!

07/03/2026: So, how can I put it… a really great restaurant! The waiter is fantastic, we had a good laugh! And the food, well, let's just say it was excellent, the portions were more than generous! The waiter, Mr. Duc, kept the children entertained, and they were thrilled. A very good evening!

11/05/2026: Great kebab! The lady is very kind and always smiling, and the welcome is warm from the moment you arrive. The gentleman makes excellent kebabs, generously filled and delicious. You feel very welcome and the service is quick. I highly recommend this place!

The burgers could be a bit tastier and more generous, and the beef tartare is far too seasoned; its acidity really masks the taste of the meat, which is a shame. The atmosphere is very pleasant. The waiter is very friendly and responsive.

16/04/2026: Very disappointed by my visit to this establishment, despite it being recommended by my hotel. The value for money is absolutely not there: the food is decent but nothing special, equivalent to a typical Parisian brasserie. The real problem lies with the service: Excessive slowness: Despite the restaurant being nearly empty, the wait was interminable from beginning to end. Lack of organization: After ordering our desserts around 9:15 pm, we waited for over an hour. It was only when we called a waiter at 10:15 pm that we learned a "tablet problem" had blocked the order. Lack of professionalism: As a result, at 10:30 pm, we still hadn't received our dessert. We ended up paying and leaving, without any compensation being offered for the wait or the oversight. We weren't the only ones: the table next to us also preferred to leave before even ordering their desserts because the wait was so long. An experience not to be repeated.

30/04/2026: I've been several times and each time we've eaten incredibly well. There's a wide selection of starters and main courses (all-you-can-eat kebabs and spring rolls on weekdays). The interior is beautifully decorated and the owner is very attentive to customers' needs. I recommend it 100%, plus it's AVS certified.

17/02/2026: I'm never disappointed by this chain, where it's always possible to eat very well at reasonable prices in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. For example, this lunchtime, for barely 10 euros, I enjoyed a complimentary small salad, two delicious crusty rolls, a rare mince with vegetables, and a frozen yogurt with carnival candy (candy inside) and whipped cream—much more and much better than American fast food! My only minor complaints: the music is too loud (I'm very sensitive to that, not to mention that American music isn't really my thing) and the restrooms are upstairs (what about accessibility?).

17/05/2026: The concept was promising, but the food and cleanliness were a real disappointment! The concept of a Parisian-style bouillon restaurant in Dax raised hopes for a pleasant experience, but the reality is quite different. While the prices seem very reasonable at first glance, the value for money is absolutely lacking due to ridiculously small portions. We chose the asparagus, since it's peak season. What a disappointment... Receiving four measly asparagus spears, two of which were missing their tips, is frankly a rip-off. The salt pork with lentils didn't redeem it: bland, tasteless lentils that seemed to have just come from a can or a bag. Hygiene (the major drawback): The upkeep is truly appalling. The floor was so sticky throughout the restaurant that we almost got stuck there! To top it all off, there was a strong smell of urine in the toilets. On the other hand, the bread was delicious, it must be said. Carafe of fresh water. We didn't have dessert. Too disappointed.

17/05/2026: Yesterday we enjoyed the local dishes and products from the Landes region, and the quality-price ratio was excellent 👌 Friendly service guaranteed, and the Sangria was delicious! See you soon!

22/01/2026: Very disappointed. The Corsican veal chop was undercooked, very fatty, and had very little meat, swimming in a mediocre prepared sauce. It was served on a bed of mashed potatoes, with no vegetables or salad. At €24 for lunch, I expected better! Honestly, this is ridiculous.

05/05/2026: On a Saturday afternoon, we arrived for lunch at La Tête Noire restaurant in Marnes-la-Coquette. Service was prompt, and we were among the first to order. The quality of the food was quite average, more in keeping with the standards of a brasserie/bistro with constant service. Small scallops, simply fried, with a plain, unimaginative mashed potatoes. Eggplant with ham on top. The elevated atmosphere of the dining room, the table setting, the staff's ceremonious manner, and the abundance of decorations raised expectations of fine cuisine, but the reality turned out to be a simple brasserie. It's important to note that this is the only "restaurant" in the area. Perhaps there's not enough competition. It could be better!

05/05/2026: Lunch on the terrace in the shade of the trees; the terrace is quiet and very pleasant. The pâté to share was very good. The duck breast was cooked perfectly. The rhubarb crumble of the day was delicious. The service was friendly and very efficient.

26/04/2026: Excellent pizzas... very thin crust. A real treat!!!

16/04/2026: Very attentive and quick service, even though the restaurant was completely full. The pizza comes from a charcoal oven and is delicious, and the daily specials offer a great selection of classic French dishes. Surprisingly reasonable prices for the area. Unfortunately, the oven-baked ravioli were completely tasteless and caused some indigestion. But overall – including dessert – everything was very tasty. We will definitely come back.
