10/08/2026: They were very friendly, but the food wasn't worth the price. This is probably because they offer Thai, Chinese, and Vietnamese food: perhaps the restaurant is actually more Chinese/Vietnamese than Thai, and in that case, the Chinese/Vietnamese portion might be good.

16/07/2026: This restaurant is so good that during our 3-day stay in Bordeaux we went there 2 days in a row. I recommend it 100%!

08/04/2026: I remembered the worst service I've ever experienced in my life at that restaurant, two years ago. We had come to eat as a family, and my mother wanted to share a meal between two. The waiter then yelled at my mother, saying that we either had to eat or leave. I don't regret not having eaten there, but I do regret not throwing my glass of water in his face.

01/04/2026: Having wanted to try this restaurant for some time, it lived up to our expectations and recommendations. Excellent cuisine that takes you on a culinary journey, and equally impeccable service! We highly recommend it and will definitely return!

31/08/2026: Excellent food, unfortunately, much less warm service. We had lunch at Windhof this Friday, a party of five, and as far as the food was concerned, there was very little to criticize: the dishes were delicious, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. We genuinely enjoyed the cuisine, and it deserves to be highlighted. However, the welcome and service left us with a much more mixed impression. Few smiles, little interaction, no real effort to make the guests feel comfortable, and a very professional but rather rushed service. Nothing inherently wrong, but a coldness quite unusual in a restaurant of this caliber, which unfortunately contrasts sharply with the quality of the food. Towards the end of the meal, the atmosphere thankfully relaxed, and the service became a little more pleasant. Perhaps the waitress simply became more at ease as the meal progressed. Another point to note: if the entire table doesn't choose the set menu, everyone must then order à la carte. This rule is clearly stated on the restaurant's website and upon entering, so there were no unpleasant surprises in this regard, but it remains rather unusual and, for me, difficult to understand. Two of us ordered a main course and dessert, one ordered just a main course. The remaining two recreated the entire menu from the à la carte menu, which cost them about twelve euros more than the set menu, around €62 instead of €49. What justifies this €23 or €24 surcharge? Was it the portion sizes, the efficiency of the service...? In the end, a very enjoyable dining experience, but the welcome could have been warmer. It's a shame, because with more friendly and attentive service, our opinion would have been quite different. I don't wish to recommend this restaurant at the moment; perhaps I'll try another place.

18/08/2026: We had lunch there twice on the terrace under the trees and it was very pleasant! The homemade food was good and plentiful. Plus, the owner is very friendly. I recommend it.

08/09/2026: An excellent evening, from the food to the service and the friendliness of the staff. We had a crispy platter which was simply excellent; you could really taste the homemade quality! Then a starter of hummus and tapenade that was so good you'd want more. For our main courses, my partner had the butcher's cut, cooked to perfection with tender meat (perhaps a little tough at the end), and I had the grilled salmon which was perfect in every way: the cooking, the side dish, and the sauce. Finally, for dessert, a delicious Dame Blanche to top it all off! Thank you for this lovely time. It's a shame we don't live nearby, otherwise we would have come back to try everything on the menu!

03/09/2026: I had a lovely time and the food was excellent. The welcome was warm, provided by an owner who is passionate about cooking. He explained his dishes and ingredients. The value for money was very good. The portions were generous enough for a hearty appetite.
