26/08/2026: This place did not disappoint! Super tasty, massive portions and a real authentic vibe. We loved sitting outside on the cobblestoned streets of Nice. The vegetable samosas and the lamb Delhi Belhi curry were the top contenders! Great vegan options too, clearly labelled which was super helpful

13/07/2026: My go-to restaurant!!! When I read the negative reviews, I wonder if these people have actually had lunch or dinner at Violette! The welcome is unparalleled in the neighborhood, the dishes are perfectly representative of true French cuisine, and the wine list is simple but offers a more than sufficient selection. A family restaurant, the kind that's all too rare in Paris. Enjoy it without moderation! And to all those who are still dissatisfied, I recommend the Burger King at Saint-Lazare! It will probably be more to your liking and more budget-friendly!

09/07/2026: A brasserie with a welcoming and typically Parisian atmosphere. Although the prices are quite high, starting at €30 for a meal, the quality remains excellent, with fresh and well-prepared ingredients. My suggestion would be to add a set lunch menu (main course + dessert, for example).

20/08/2026: The setting is very pretty. The food, however, doesn't live up to the ambiance. There were six of us, and we only received five very thin slices of black pork ham. Two of the dishes arrived cold. It's a shame the green beans served with the trout were frozen. The croque monsieur Gaston didn't reflect the region's bounty. The biggest disappointment. Pavlova lovers, stay away! The quality/price ratio is inconsistent. We won't be back.

20/08/2026: I had a great time at this restaurant, which has been taken over by a new, young team for the past two months. I recommend it.

27/08/2026: Very disappointed. The main courses arrived before our drinks, so we refused them. They were brought back 10 minutes later, but half-cold with an overcooked egg. No one came to clear our table or take the rest of our order. So we decided to leave without dessert. There was also no salad to start with because they were out of stock 😅. A shame, especially since the restaurant was far from full. The organization needs improvement.
