13/09/2026: A wonderful discovery. Good value for money. Excellent service and food. The restaurant was relatively quiet despite having quite a few tables. Very clean restrooms.

10/08/2026: The establishment lives up to its name. The food is simple, but the service is a bit slow. The staff is friendly, and the decor has a casual, open-air feel, but it's a little dated for my taste. It has a good seating capacity.

24/09/2026: We'd been going to this restaurant for years, and were well-known to the owners and waitresses. The food was very good, the welcome was warm, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Since the change of ownership, everything has changed; in fact, the waitress has left. The atmosphere is now unpleasant, the welcome is mediocre, and the staff seems stressed and overwhelmed. The food is still good, though, since the menu is still the same and I presume it's the same chefs.

19/09/2026: During a bike ride from Taninges to the Col de la Joux Verte via Montriond, we ate at Le Chaudron on the descent, and it was definitely worth it, as the plate of potato galettes was incredibly generous. Between the galettes, the salad, and the various charcuterie, neither Eric nor I managed to finish everything. The waitress was energetic and smiling, we were served quickly, but it wasn't as crowded as it would be during peak season. I've known Les Lindarets for a long time; this is my fourth visit in 20 years, and the goats are always the main attraction of this little village.

20/09/2026: A huge thank you to the whole team for their professionalism and kindness! ❤️ Yesterday was my sister's birthday, and there were 23 of us. With the power outages and the difficulties the restaurant was experiencing, we completely understood that it would have been complicated to manage. And yet, the pizza chef managed to prepare about twenty pizzas for our party in just two hours, all while continuing to serve the other customers! Honestly, hats off to him! 👏🍕 A big thank you also to the delivery drivers who did a fantastic job despite the circumstances. We really appreciated all the efforts made to ensure our evening went perfectly. A top-notch team, courageous and professional! Thank you again, and congratulations on your work! ❤️🍕

Here, there's no endless menu: a single daily special, prepared with simplicity, generosity, and passion. The welcome is warm, the cuisine authentic, and the dishes simply delicious. It's the kind of rare place where you rediscover the taste of real things, the pleasure of unpretentious cooking, and that conviviality that is so comforting. Restaurants like this deserve to be encouraged and preserved. They embody true expertise and a certain vision of gastronomy, based on simplicity, quality, and sharing. A truly wonderful discovery that I highly recommend to those who appreciate authentic places and good restaurants with a soul.

11/09/2026: I came to eat with my mom, and honestly, we had a fantastic time! As a shopkeeper myself, I pay close attention to detail and am quite particular, whether it's about the welcome, the cleanliness, the service, the presentation, or the quality. And honestly, this place gets a 10/10 across the board! The food was excellent, the presentation was impeccable, and the place is clean, attractive, and pleasant. But what I really want to emphasize is the staff. These days, I find it so rare to walk into a shop or establishment and find a team where everyone, without exception, is smiling, kind, and pleasant. Often, there's someone at the reception desk who's a bit cold, another less friendly… and that can really make a difference to the experience. But honestly, from the gentleman at reception to the lady who seated us, to the young woman who served and took our payment, everyone was absolutely lovely, smiling, attentive, and kind. Not a single sour note! And as a business owner myself, I know how much this kind of feedback means. So I really wanted to take the time to highlight it, because when a team does its job so well and puts so much heart into welcoming its customers, it deserves to be recognized and encouraged. Well done to the whole team, truly. Keep up the good work, because it's exactly this kind of experience that makes you want to come back and tell everyone about you. A solid 10/10, without hesitation! I highly recommend it, and we will definitely be back.

08/09/2026: The waitresses are great, but the bartender needs to rethink how he treats them in public. He's unbearable and disrupts the friendly atmosphere of the establishment.

10/09/2026: Passing through Avignon, and on a street known as one of the oldest (and most beautiful) in the City of Popes, we had the pleasure of having lunch there. We preferred the interior to the terrace, which was quite lovely, but the Mistral wind is also part of the scenery 🤣. The grilled salmon was perfect 👌. Thank you for your hospitality 👍.

26/08/2026: What a wonderful discovery L’Offset restaurant is! The setting is superb and truly evokes the New York atmosphere; you immediately feel at home. The service is impeccable, with a very friendly and attentive waiter. As for the food, it's a real gem: the dishes are excellent and beautifully prepared. I highly recommend it!
