22/07/2026: I've always wondered how anyone could make such a bad salad. The answer is right here. A Thai shrimp salad with only four overcooked shrimp, five slices of tomato (Thai tomato?), and a ton of lettuce, all without any dressing. Challenge accepted 😄 To be honest, I followed it up with a fruit clafoutis. What a mistake! I nearly choked, and to survive, I only managed to eat the three meager pieces of canned peach! Total: €33 with a glass of white wine. Luckily, the area around Gare de Lyon offers plenty of other options for the same price.

20/12/2025: A chance discovery. Exceptional! We haven't eaten so well in ages. Foie gras served in two courses: terrine and pan-seared with warm apples, hay-smoked pigeon, magnificent scallops, and the desserts were absolutely delicious. The waitress was fantastic, and the chef even came to say goodbye at the end. We'll definitely be back.

25/03/2026: Discovered by chance, this restaurant has become our go-to spot whenever we're in Caen for medical appointments or during difficult times. The welcome and service are top-notch, even when the restaurant is full. The chef, who can be seen working in the kitchen, consistently demonstrates his talent by updating the daily menu and offering well-prepared dishes in generous portions. In short, a place to remember, where reservations are recommended and the staff is efficient and friendly.

09/12/2025: Authentic Italian pizza cooked in a wood-fired oven in the heart of the countryside near Descartes – pure bliss! The same goes for their lasagna, ravioli, and other Italian specialties. I highly recommend them. Remember to book ahead on weekends or order takeout; seating is limited, but the quality of the food is well worth the trip, whether you eat in or take away.

14/02/2026: After trying and approving the lunch menu, it was time to tackle the à la carte menu! And it was well worth it! The shrimp ravioli soup was original and flavorful. The scallop casserole with butter and garlic was delicious: the scallops were tender and still had their coral. Special mention for their "Cuvée Indochine" wine, which perfectly complemented everything during this meal with a dear friend. The service was incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive; they even gave me a few gifts with the bill. I'll gladly return!

The service is quick, which is very much appreciated, especially when you don't want to wait long. The welcome is simply delightful: the staff is smiling, warm, and very kind; you immediately feel at ease. The place is also incredibly charming, with a pleasant atmosphere that makes you want to come back. The prices are very reasonable for the quality offered, which is a real plus. Honestly, it's a place I recommend without hesitation. A real gem!
