19/07/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An excellent shop on the Grand Place! Ideally located in the heart of Valenciennes, this Nicolas wine shop is a real gem. Although the space isn't huge, the store is impeccably laid out and a real pleasure to browse. You immediately feel at home. The selection is impressive: the whisky section is incredibly comprehensive, and the wine selection is very extensive, perfect for finding the ideal bottle, whether as a gift or a treat for yourself. A very pleasant surprise on the price front as well: I was expecting much higher prices, but they are surprisingly affordable! Finally, a special mention for the service: the staff are incredibly kind, truly attentive to customers, and offer excellent advice without ever being pushy. A neighborhood shop just the way we like them, one that makes you want to return regularly. You can go there with your eyes closed!

21/09/2026: Hello, my wife, son, and I stopped by as a family. We hadn't been to this restaurant before. I've eaten in many restaurants, but this one is something special: very generous portions, fresh, well-cooked ingredients, and friendly, down-to-earth people who gave us a very warm welcome. It's home-style cooking, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you again! I highly recommend it!

30/08/2026: We booked a table one evening in August. The service was slow. Very expensive for what was served. The food was bland. The owner didn't take criticism well. Offended, he told us not to come back and to go to Flunch if we weren't happy. The only pleasant thing was the terrace!

12/08/2026: We waited 45 minutes only to end up with a completely burnt ravioli gratin and a salmon steak that was far from cooked and, moreover, dangerous given that we were with three young children. The dishes were sent back (no apology from the waiter) and reprepared, this time properly, suggesting a lack of desire to serve decent food. On the plus side, the waiter gave us a discount on drinks (which were complimentary) and offered us desserts to take away. However, overall, a far from memorable experience.

08/08/2026: Passing through the neighborhood for lunch, we chose this traditional Vietnamese restaurant near Montparnasse train station on Avenue du Maine. A warm welcome and impeccable service. I truly rediscovered the flavors of generous and authentic home cooking. An address I'll keep in mind for my next visits to the area. Thank you.

21/07/2026: Looking for a sandwich place, we stumbled upon this Parisian trattoria. We ordered their signature sandwich, which was good. The service was rushed and unfriendly, and the terrace seating wasn't up to par. The price was high, and there are definitely better places. It left me with nothing to remember. I definitely won't be returning.

21/03/2026: An amazing location, perfect for ski in and out. Heated ski lockers underneath building and straight out onto slopes. We upgraded our room for a mountain view and we're really pleased with our apartment. Fabulous views and away from any noise below. Quiet area of resort though, so didn't expect this to be much of a problem, however the views were incredible. Accomodation was great and very clean. Reception staff were very helpful and a nice touch being able to order croissants/ bakery bits night before. Skied with ESF ski school who were very good. Walk into the main town was approx 15 mins away. Cafes nearby though. Nearby shops could deliver food to apartment if required. Drove to resort and parking underneath the hotel made our arrival and departure very easy, trolleys available to load luggage up, to take to apartment. Lots of parking spaces. Did need snow chains to exit resort on last day. Picked up online ordering of ski passes in hotel reception. Everything seemed to be covered to make our stay very straightforward. Spa, though was a disappointment. Outside saunas did not work during our week and only 1 of the steam rooms. Swimming pool was lovely though.

21/08/2026: A restaurant that makes you want to return, thanks to the warm welcome and expertise. The food is excellent, and the decor is lovely. It's an ideal spot for a small group of friends or a couple. Enjoy the terrace in the summer, and you're always well received. Go without hesitation; the owner and her husband are very kind.

10/05/2026: We had an exceptional time. The cuisine is absolutely delicious, refined, and prepared with top-quality ingredients. Each dish is a true delight, as beautiful to look at as it is delicious to eat. The welcome is simply perfect: warm, friendly, and very professional. You immediately feel at ease and pampered from the beginning to the end of the meal. The entire team is attentive and passionate, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. A must-visit in Haute-Saône for a wonderful time with family or friends. We will definitely be back!

02/05/2026: Absolutely wonderful and characterful hotel and restaurant. We were made to feel at home from the second we arrived, the room was small but perfectly appointed. The restaurant is run by the propieters and the food was absolutely incredible. Great variations in french cuisiine, perfectly cooked and a cheese course to die for!

26/07/2026: Pizzas bought from the vending machine in Les Brouzils; they seemed pre-cooked and the topping was dried out. Very disappointed, really not good.

23/07/2026: A wonderful discovery of "O Quinze," located very close to the Old Port, during my short stay in Marseille. From breakfast and aperitifs (Come on, a little Mauresque beer, Serge 😉) to a delicious meal, and finishing with a great coffee and perhaps a nice beer in the evening 😉. A huge thank you again to Serge and the staff for their warm welcome and exceptional friendliness.
