14/06/2026: The food is generally good, but the portions are tiny! The wine glasses are also too small. This makes it overpriced.

14/06/2026: Excellent service and food, varied ingredients, crunchy touches, sauce used with moderation and when it fits. However I do have a remark: I find that the portions are just too small even with respect to similar restaurant categories. There is a limit to how small it can be because in a couple of cases (the cod in particular, and one starter) it was so small that it was hard to even feel the taste and enjoy it. It’s a bit of a pity because it spoils the experience and otherwise it would be excellent.

20/05/2026: The restaurant...the food is very good, but when you have to deal with the waitress who is very curt and especially mocking, you don't want to go back...she treats customers like idiots and is not at all gracious, so I wouldn't recommend it to anyone...

20/05/2026: Peaceful setting on the banks of the Doubs River. Beautiful rooms, pleasant service. Friendly atmosphere.

25/07/2026: Avoid at all costs. Despite the restaurant being half full, the service was nonexistent. It took two hours for a main course and dessert, and when we were asked for our opinion, we were brushed off. They should find another line of work.

24/06/2026: Tonight we went out for dinner to L'Antilope in Gauville sur Mer; it was nice and close by bike. We stayed sitting outside on the terrace in the sun, but inside it is unexpectedly spacious and therefore has a considerable capacity. The menu, presented in French and English, initially raised a few questions. But anyway, we really wanted to try the regional delicacies, so not the chicken or steak you can get everywhere. We both ordered a type of pancake made from buckwheat flour. It doesn't look very appetizing in the photos, but that turned out to be completely unfounded. They are downright delicious, unexpectedly tasty indeed. We had the version with minced beef and sausages, and it really left us wanting more. The dessert was also fine. The service was very friendly and helpful; a really nice spot for dinner.

07/07/2026: A fantastic find! The dough they use for everything is excellent, the tequeños are delicious, and the empanadas are generously sized and tasty. The service is truly homey; it's a lovely place to visit. I also contacted them to order a golfeado cake, and they readily agreed. They were incredibly attentive throughout the process and managed to create something I thought was impossible—a wonderful gift that tasted absolutely divine. Unforgettable, and definitely worth repeating!

08/06/2026: We chose a Venezuelan restaurant for lunch. It's small, so we had a reservation, but we were the only customers. We ordered empanadas to have a variety of choices. While they were very generously filled, the pastry was oily, which was a shame. The homemade fruit juices were very good. The waitress (owner?) was very kind; she took the time to explain the different items and gave us recommendations. However, the wait was quite long, even though, once again, we were the only customers. The decor was fairly classic.

11/07/2026: Nothing to say. A place I'll return to without even noticing. Excellent from start to finish. Without having too many expectations.

10/07/2026: We ate twice on the terrace; the fish was very fresh, the aioli was delicious, the welcome was warm, and there was a beautiful view of the port. I highly recommend it.

09/07/2026: Very good takeaway pizza. Quick service. Lots of locals stopped by to get their dinner as well. Perfectly baked with very nice cheese. A little limited menu with regards to meat options, but all the classical things available.

25/05/2026: The owner is very friendly. His food, from appetizers to desserts, is delicious. The brick pastry, couscous, tagine, and mint tea are all top-notch. The best Moroccan restaurant in Tours 😊
