28/06/2026: The food was basic, even average. The dining room was nice and the atmosphere was pleasant on Sundays with the market.

19/06/2026: I'm a regular at this restaurant, since I live in the neighborhood. Because it's both a café and a restaurant, I sometimes go there for lunch or dinner, but also to work while having a coffee. Everything has always gone very well until today. A waitress came to ask me to pay for my order because, according to her, the establishment was about to close. So I left, thinking the restaurant was actually closing. However, when I walked past a few minutes later, I saw that it was still open. I went back to ask for an explanation, and I was told, "We're closing for small orders." I find this way of doing things particularly inappropriate. I'm a regular customer, and most of the time, the place is far from full. I discreetly settle down in a corner with my laptop, without disturbing anyone. If there are rules regarding computer use, minimum consumption requirements, or the obligation to buy a meal, they should have simply explained them to me clearly. However, making a customer believe the establishment is closing in order to get them to leave seems disrespectful and unprofessional.

29/06/2026: We're from the North of France and staying with our family in La Palme. A fantastic culinary discovery with a warm welcome from Fred at the bar and the young waitress in the dining room. We'll gladly return.

21/06/2026: An excellent stopover on the way south. Comfortable room with a terrace and good bedding. The pool was a welcome relief in this heat. The restaurant was excellent, with very pleasant service on the lovely terrace equipped with misting fans. Breakfast was perfect; the bread and pastries were superb. In short, we'll definitely be back next year!

18/07/2026: Having been regulars at the restaurant for some time now, we went to Burgers de Papa to satisfy an early evening craving and were welcomed—or rather, treated—by the best employee ever (Achille). He agreed to serve us a burger that was no longer on the menu (breaded chicken, jalapeños, and hot sauce) and offered us desserts. I ordered fries with melted cheddar cheese, which were perfectly cooked. The vanilla milkshake (not pictured) was also very good. Please give this man a bonus! I will definitely be back! The service and breakfast were excellent, and thank you for the local products. My only regret is not having been able to fully enjoy the facilities (garden and pool), as we didn't have enough time despite our three-night stay. We will definitely be back! Thank you.

21/04/2026: Just rooms and a simple breakfast, but in an absolutely charming, peaceful setting - simply magical! Vincent is a wonderful friendly host. The pool is perfect for cold swimming. If you want lots of extras, this isn’t your place - if you want an astonishing night sky just look up.

09/07/2026: This is one of those quintessential Parisian places I return to every time I'm in Paris. The interior is cozy and charmingly old-fashioned, with the kind of timeless atmosphere that's becoming increasingly rare. The welcome is always warm, the service impeccable, and the food consistently excellent. On a hot summer day, the cold beef salad or the steak tartare are perfect. What makes it even more special is the conviviality. The staff are wonderfully kind, and even the fellow diners seem to add to the welcoming atmosphere. Already looking forward to my next visit.

25/06/2026: A magnificent beef salad devoured during the heatwave. The atmosphere of a bygone Paris remains perfectly preserved. This restaurant should be listed as a Historical Monument and protected at all costs.
