05/07/2026: A lovely Sunday lunch with the discovery of this beautiful spot, right by the sea, yet secluded enough to hear the cicadas more than the occasional passing car 👍🏼 A very warm welcome with a smile, and an excellent meal 🍽️ We'll definitely be back next time we're in Le Lavandou.

20/03/2026: Extremely welcoming atmosphere, I highly recommend it! It has a real family feel, you feel right at home. We had a mixed platter for around €20 and two cocktails, a mojito and a passion fruit margarita, both €9, which were very good quality. The service is incredible; if we could give it 6 stars, we would gladly do so (as a bonus, a small shot was offered by the customers, who were just as friendly as the staff!!).

16/07/2026: Perfect. The selection is rather limited, but everything is made with fresh, local ingredients. For example, eggs mayonnaise, which I generally find "good," turned out to be "excellent" at this restaurant. The service was quick and, above all, friendly and welcoming.

23/06/2026: A warm welcome, a menu with two choices, featuring fresh, local, and seasonal produce. Refined, simple, healthy, flavorful, and authentic cuisine, with excellent traditional bread that reflects the character of the place and its owners. Even the dessert is lower in sugar to preserve the natural taste of the ingredients. Well done. I highly recommend it.

27/06/2026: A friendly place with super friendly staff. A great atmosphere. Open 365 days a year, tobacco shop, newspapers, bar and parcel pickup point. I highly recommend it.

23/06/2026: It felt like eating a supermarket pizza at twice the price: cardboard-like, unsatisfying crust, canteen-quality tomatoes, questionable peppers, and a tiny portion. Unfortunately, the atmosphere didn't make up for it...

10/06/2026: We had a lovely time. We received a very warm and friendly welcome. The staff were very pleasant and discreet. They were also very respectful of our pace. I highly recommend it.

25/07/2026: While wandering the streets of Dijon, we took a small alley and stumbled upon a café, a lovely, quiet and typical place.

10/06/2026: Went for after dinner drinks, really quirky divey bar in a graffiti filled alley with super friendly bartender and clientele. Cheap drinks, no pretense, absolutely lovely.

11/07/2026: Following some recommendations, we booked a table for a fondue. The lady who runs the place was very kind and helpful! The fondue was absolutely delicious, better than those in the surrounding restaurants. We'll definitely be back!

22/06/2026: On the recommendation of locals, we had dinner at this café/tabac. We've never eaten such a delicious fondue, despite the heatwave! Josette is incredibly kind and attentive, and the place is a must-visit in Albiez-Montrond.

26/07/2026: It was our first negative experience in France. We sat down at an empty table for two around 2:00 PM, and when the server came, we asked for the ice cream and drinks menus. Unfortunately, we were asked to leave because they only serve guests having lunch. After asking several times, the owner came and confirmed what the server had said. Where is the famous French hospitality? We found it very unfriendly and disrespectful. We certainly would have spent €40. The owners should try putting themselves in the customer's shoes and consider how they would feel! This restaurant is only interested in maximizing profits. We will never visit this restaurant again, not even for lunch!

28/05/2026: Air conditioning was broken, but the breakfast was decent. My stay here was a bit disappointing. The air conditioning in the room was completely broken and didn't work at all, which made for a rather uncomfortable night's sleep. While the AC issue was a major letdown, the breakfast the next morning was decent—the variety and taste met basic expectations. I hope the hotel will actively inspect and repair their AC units, as a comfortable sleeping environment is the most essential part of a hotel stay.
