28/04/2026: It's always a pleasure to have lunch or dinner at La Strada whenever I'm in Angers. The pizzas are delicious, and there's something for everyone in terms of recipes. Some people only care about size… those people should go to American chains and choke on their 28cm cardboard pizzas 🙄 🍕Here, everything is homemade, with a delicious crust, generously topped with tasty, high-quality ingredients. We love the retro and authentic atmosphere of the place. The owner is super friendly, as is the waiter who takes excellent care of his customers. A must-try in Angers. If you're going to eat at one place, it's definitely this one.

09/07/2025: A simple pasta dish served with an overly salty tomato sauce. Dessert (poorly explained on the menu) was a scoop of ice cream with coffee poured over it: very poor food. But one plus: the dining room is spacious, comfortable, and not noisy! Rare enough in Paris to be worth noting.

30/05/2026: What a pleasant experience! We – two people in our sixties – were received very kindly and felt free to ask for a slightly better table than the one we were initially shown. No problem. There was pleasant attention paid to the guests, with the staff really listening as well as possible. After we ordered our drinks and main courses, they were served promptly. Delicious cold water, although the follow-up regarding the dishwasher results for the glasses could have been a little better. The dishes were exquisite. Having left a bit of room for dessert, we ordered raspberry tarts. Such cheerfulness and delicious. We ordered coffee with some hesitation, as experiences at Chinese restaurants are usually not so positive. We were pleasantly surprised. Delicious espresso! In short, highly recommended in our opinion. P.S. In other reviews, the behavior of both the staff and the owner is sometimes interpreted negatively. In our view, this can mainly be attributed to an inability to interculturally.

27/05/2026: As regular customers, we find the service extremely poor; if we choose our table, we are looked at with wide eyes, sensing that we are not welcome. We left without ordering and we will never return; other restaurants are more welcoming…

07/05/2026: Great atmosphere, delicious food. Really enjoyed the cave setting and the open grill cooking the meats. All the food was of high quality. Not a huge space so you'd probably need a reservation on busier days, but we just walked in on an early May Thursday. Only one or two servers so nothing moved too fast, but we weren't in a rush so everything went well

08/03/2026: This is our fourth visit to this brasserie, and it's always a pleasure. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a reservation, and there was a slight hiccup upon arrival: no table was available for a few minutes. But it was handled perfectly with great professionalism. The staff kindly offered us glasses of champagne while we waited for a table, which made the wait very pleasant. Then, as always, we had a wonderful meal: delicious dishes, generous portions, and the atmosphere was as friendly as ever. Well done to the whole team for the warm welcome and excellent service! We will definitely be back, and I highly recommend it. 👏🏼

11/05/2026: Order #1697 via Deliveroo. Absolutely shocking experience. Our order of €162 never even arrived. The delivery driver was extremely rude and unprofessional, did not deliver the food, and when we contacted the restaurant for help, they showed zero interest in solving the situation or helping us in any way. No food, no service, no accountability. For an order of this amount, you expect basic professionalism and customer care, but this was honestly one of the worst experiences I’ve had with a restaurant on Deliveroo. Never order or eat at Green Sushi Cannes.

03/05/2026: Very nice! We had the €16 set menu (offered at lunchtime) consisting of half a pizza (I chose the truffle one, delicious), a small salad and a glass of wine of our choice, and everything was excellent! Very pleasant service and a lovely terrace.

14/05/2026: A pleasant brasserie with a lovely atmosphere, the only downside being the slightly slow service. The portions were generous, and the food was very good. The music was a bit too loud for a family meal, but enjoyable with friends. We ordered a mixed platter to share (charcuterie and cheese), which was enough for four people. There was a wide selection of food and drinks on the menu.

24/01/2026: Good restaurant, very friendly owners, everything homemade, very pretty setting, very inexpensive. Only the plates for the main course aren't quite right, otherwise I highly recommend it.

06/01/2026: This restaurant tries to be original, but the appetizer portions were incredibly small. Since we were still very hungry, we went to order a main course, but our choice was already sold out, even though the restaurant wasn't crowded. So we went straight to dessert, which was very disappointing! The Breton cake was just a plain, dry, and completely ordinary cookie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. Furthermore, the waiter was extremely unfriendly and his humor was borderline unpleasant. He seemed rather annoyed by our questions. He also needs to rethink how he interacts with young children. His remarks to them were outdated and a bit old-fashioned. I was truly disappointed by this restaurant on every level.
