30/07/2026: A room with a fireplace and a small terrace. The welcome is very friendly and all the dishes are homemade. For starters, I had the salad with Sainte-Maure cheese, followed by pan-seared hake. For dessert, I recommend the homemade floating island, which is particularly generous with its crème anglaise. In short, a very pleasant experience.

21/07/2026: An excellent address in Redon for lovers of fine food! The meat is absolutely exceptional, of truly remarkable quality and cooked to perfection (the charm of the fireplace certainly contributes to this). It's true that the price might give some pause at first, but from the first bite, you understand why: the quality of the ingredients and the generous portions are truly exceptional. Add to that a warm welcome and attentive service that make the experience even more enjoyable. In short, it's a gourmet investment you won't regret for a single second. A must-try restaurant in the city center, you can go without hesitation!

21/07/2026: Value for money is plummeting. Prices have increased far too much compared to what's served. **Misleading description:** Don't be fooled by the "verrines" listed on the menu (4 pieces for €9.70). You'll end up with simple little bowls, and barely enough for a single carrot cut into sticks. The portions are ridiculously small. Salads lacking balance: If you like green salad leaves, you'll be in heaven! However, the other ingredients are stingy. A huge disappointment considering the final bill.

28/06/2026: It's so good, I highly recommend it, especially since there's air conditioning, everything is good: starter, main course, dessert, everything is perfect, and the service is friendly.

12/06/2026: A place of rare tranquility and serenity in Lourmarin. What a wonderful discovery! Tucked away in a narrow street, we found this little porch and, charmed by the place, we enjoyed the shade while sipping excellent tea. Great advice, a lovely spot away from the crowds—in short, a timeless moment that did us good.

11/06/2026: Away from the hustle and bustle in a back street, a nice tearoom, delicious cheesecake, and plenty of choice. The decor is cozy; personally, I would put some comfortable chairs on the terrace. But that's just me.

31/01/2026: A wonderful discovery: the €32 set menu offers excellent value for money considering the quality of the food. It's rare these days to find, for example, foie gras on a menu at this price. The dishes were beautifully presented and the service efficient. The setting is pleasant with a sea view. We will definitely be back.

18/07/2026: The pizzas are delicious, but make the terrace a bit cozier with more tables and nice parasols. Then, when you drive by and see people sitting there, you'll be more likely to go over there. Right now, there are a few ugly tables with mismatched chairs. The staff is also friendly, so that's not the issue.

05/04/2026: The food was good overall. The lamb shank was tasty, but the side vegetables were limp, probably frozen, which was a shame. My husband had the andouillette sausage; he liked it but found it "just like homemade." We finished with a cheese plate, which was nothing special. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the waiter was agreeable.

15/07/2026: A warm, friendly welcome nonetheless, but the food is practically nonexistent. While nicely presented, the dish is inedible; the ingredients are poor quality and the cooking is completely uncontrolled. Even the fries are made with oil and a tiny bit of potato. A real tourist trap! And when you have a 3.9 out of 5 rating on Google after all these years, the other customers aren't ignorant; they're being paid. No mishaps whatsoever, and an owner as dishonest as his so-called cuisine 😘

(October 5, 2025) Update: Back from Canada, reservation for 3, for my father's 80th birthday and Mother's Day 2026, still as pleasant, still as professional, don't change a thing with the winning team, special mention to Mr. Nicolas and his colleague for the service, congratulations also to those we don't see in the dining room, a village restaurant that lives up to the high street. 14/07/2026: This restaurant offers good sole meunière with a good selection of mussels. We like to go there as a couple and as a family, although lately the quality has been a little below what we used to expect.

05/07/2026: Honestly, we ate well, the dishes were really good! However, my partner and I got sick after our visit, and we both had burrata. Perhaps there was a problem with that? The lemonade was a huge disappointment, especially considering the price and knowing that they make very good ones locally... it was clearly a cheap, low-quality lemonade, so not great in a restaurant. The waiters were lovely, but I must point out that on Friday evening, a bartender (the only one wearing a white t-shirt, a necklace with a ring around his neck, and a tiny blond mustache) was incredibly rude to the waiters, which I find unacceptable, especially when you don't even know how to make a Monaco (a type of cocktail). In short, I wanted to try a restaurant that was apparently popular here, but I don't think I'll be going back. There are other, nicer restaurants in Remiremont.

02/08/2026: We went to use the bike trails in summer. The trails were good, but challenging. As someone who is not particularly experienced it was irritating that only one lift was open as they alternate it and this meant I had to ride over halfway down the mountain before the green runs started. The staff in the tourist office were helpful. The staff working the lift at the were not that helpful in terms of getting bikes on and off and slowing the lift down. There were lots of other activities and places to eat as well as ample parking.
