08/06/2026: We came to eat with friends for a birthday. Between a hair in one of our dishes and a burnt, totally inedible pizza, it was a bit of a letdown (they remade it, but we still had to wait ages while everyone else was almost finished...). It was cold anyway, so we had no choice but to eat. There was no compensation for this, no apology, just a waiter telling me, "Here's your dish now with twice as many hairs!" Luckily, the waitresses were able to spot it, lol! Otherwise, the atmosphere was great, even though we should have been in the smaller room next door as originally planned!

18/06/2026: To follow up on Christophe's comment, I was also passing through Aix and, having just had surgery, needed to use the restroom. I had a drink yesterday, and I've never encountered anything like this before. I wanted to pay, but I only had my bank card. The waiter forced me to withdraw cash because I didn't have any, claiming that any amount under €10 wouldn't be accepted! And that it was the law. Tough luck for him, I studied law! He didn't give up, and I, very angry about this unfair situation where they were clearly pushing customers to spend more, left. He chased me, threatening me and using people around him who didn't understand the situation at all. Seeing that I wasn't going to back down because I was completely within my rights, he finally accepted the €4. I got yelled at, "Dirty Bordeaux girl, go back there!" SHAMEFUL! I was there for a holiday! AVOID this place if you don't have cash. They're right next to the cathedral, what a disgrace!!!!!

18/05/2026: The brasserie's terrace looked like a lovely spot for a drink or a bite to eat. Unfortunately, it was too cold outside that day, and as a result, the smoking customers had taken over the place. The service, provided by two young waiters, was very attentive. Kudos to them both. The atmosphere is very noisy, partly because the kitchen music is played at full blast. However, as for the food... what a disaster. The portions are generous, but the preparation of my beef tartare was, how shall I say... I felt like I was on the show "Kitchen Nightmares." The tartare was swimming in grease because they had added far too much oil along with the egg yolk. In addition, there were far too many condiments (gherkins and onions), very roughly chopped. Finally, my steak tartare was purple because of way too much ketchup, but especially way, way too much Worcestershire sauce. As a result, I couldn't even taste the meat; instead, I had a very, very acidic "paste." In short, it's a nice spot for a drink on the terrace in the city center, but otherwise, unless you want to be Philippe Etchebest, avoid the restaurant section.

15/05/2026: This was a very nice little bistro. Very nice service (English is spoken, and we appreciated that they made us feel comfortable as our French is very basic). Delicious food w ample portions. They have an outdoor terrace that looks west over the Apt valley.

11/05/2026: What a wonderful discovery! Finally, a restaurant with real tablecloths, real napkins, and fresh cutlery with every course—the icing on the cake—an excellent meal. Kudos for the warm welcome, the service, and the very responsive approach when taking the reservation. A must-try, and I'll definitely be back! Thank you for the little candle!

17/05/2026: Excellent restaurant, the food is delicious and the staff are really friendly. I've been there several times and I've never been disappointed!

18/05/2026: The food was good, but unfortunately, we were disappointed with the service. We ordered the daily special and dessert: a set menu normally priced at €18, but without the starter. When we got to the till, we were charged €22.50. We weren't informed beforehand, and we were told we should have ordered the starter, even if we didn't eat it. It's a shame; we simply would have appreciated being told.

27/04/2026: You'll find all the traditional Cambodian dishes there, in a classical music setting. Try the crispy vermicelli salad (mi siam), the nataing, and the fried rice with Cambodian sausage. Everything is delicious.

30/05/2026: We had a wonderful meal, both in terms of quality and quantity, which is becoming rare these days. What's on the plate is what matters most, right?! It was excellent!! The prices are very reasonable for the quality. The terrace is fabulous with its view of the Bald Mountain. The service was professional and impeccable; we've certainly had worse in the south. I highly recommend it for a peaceful setting with a beautiful view!! Thank you to the chef.
