15/09/2026: Four of us had lunch here—two adults and two children—on our way back from Montmartre. From the outside, it looked like any other place, but inside it turned out to be very nice, with lots of locals. We had two Croque Monsieur (delicious!), a hot dog, and a mixed platter of cured meats and cheeses (ample), plus delicious fries and still water. Total: around €50... fantastic. But the best thing was the service. The young waiter was super kind: when we asked for a few additional details about the menu, he was very honest in telling us it was only his second day at the restaurant (and therefore couldn't tell us all the details), but he had all the information we needed in a matter of seconds. Super efficient! 👏 We also had to eat quickly (we had a Louvre tour booked), and the waiter took care to provide us with a container to take our food away so my daughter could finish eating while they moved us. Mythical!

17/09/2026: Love takes on a whole new flavor here! 😍 I haven't had such a delicious sandwich—or rather, a filled baguette with jamón and cheese—in decades. Every single ingredient tasted amazing, and the combination was perfect. It was like the good old days, back when so much food in Germany didn't seem so bland. It was just "a filled baguette," yet it was a truly special taste experience that shouldn't be missed. I hope and bless this shop and its warm-hearted owner, that it continues to thrive for many years to come.

05/10/2026: We made a reservation for my wife's birthday. Upon arrival, the reservation hadn't been accepted... Apart from this oversight, everything was fine until my dish arrived, which was raw: the grilled octopus, priced at €30.50. I asked for it to be sent back to the kitchen, and the waitress explained that she was sorry and that the chef wasn't working that evening. In the end, the dish came back even worse. So I didn't eat it. But they still made me pay for it. I find that appalling.

02/06/2026: We will cherish wonderful memories of our evening at the Grand Hotel. The room was very clean and functional in a charming hotel where we were warmly and kindly received. The food was also excellent; the portions were generous and delicious. We will gladly return for our next motorcycle weekend! A special shout-out from fellow bikers to the Ducati lady who was absolutely lovely to us 😉

Excellent service from the "Boss" — he even brought juice for the babies on the house. We will definitely recommend it to our friends. It’s well worth it!

21/07/2026: Excellent stay! The value for money is unbeatable in Grenoble. The rooms are very pleasant and the pool is a real bonus. A small error occurred during my stay, but the team reacted quickly and professionally, providing a solution and a very thoughtful touch, thanks to Manon, whom I particularly thank. The restaurant was also a wonderful surprise, with dishes cooked over an open fire adding real value to the experience. A truly great place to stay, and I will definitely return!

The service was also very pleasant and professional. I'm quite surprised to see some of the negative reviews. Personally, I had a very good experience and I highly recommend it.

06/09/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant and the food was excellent: the cuisine was flavorful, the ingredients fresh, and the presentation elegant. Unfortunately, the service was lacking: the wait, the forgetting to set a place setting, and the failure to ask how we wanted our meat cooked. It's a shame, because the chef does an excellent job, but the lack of attention to detail in the dining room needs to be addressed!

We received an extraordinary welcome; all the staff and managers were incredibly kind and exceptionally professional. The food was of the highest quality, prepared with fresh, local ingredients. The following day, we enjoyed an amazing brunch with a wide variety of choices and excellent quality. Definitely a must-visit in Brive. We recommend it 100%! A special mention to the owner who introduced us to some exceptional rums! Thank you, Hélène, and your entire team.

05/10/2026: We celebrated a wedding at Comptoir Saint Sernin and everything went perfectly from start to finish. The setting is lovely, the food was excellent, and the service was top-notch. The team is incredibly friendly, helpful, and very professional, which greatly contributed to the success of our special day. Special mention goes to the Sunday brunch, which is undoubtedly one of the best value-for-money options we've ever had! I rarely leave reviews, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to share our experience. A truly wonderful place that I wholeheartedly recommend!
