17/01/2026: Excellent meat, very good food, warm welcome and service. The roadside terrace atmosphere was average, but the restaurant can't really do much about that. The Orangina was six months past its expiration date, with a few remnants floating in the air.
28/12/2025: Issue 1: The woman who served us wasn't very friendly.
Issue 2: €10 for 6 frozen nuggets and 3 cold fries (not great, right?).
Issue 3: I'm still looking for the mozzarella in all the pizzas (Emmental = mozzarella?).
Issue 4: The dough is more like plaster than actual pizza dough (Picard brand?).
Issue 5: Too expensive for this mediocre quality.

24/04/2026: We stopped by without a reservation and received a very warm welcome. We enjoyed an excellent Périgord salad and a delicious apple puff pastry for dessert. An experience to be repeated. It's best to book ahead as the restaurant fills up very quickly. Kudos to the chef, and thank you for the excellent service.

15/05/2026: What should have been a 15-minute visit turned into two hours of great conversation with the absolutely fantastic owner. Excellent beer and a great atmosphere... not to mention Françoise! Stop by this little bar when you're in the area.

I'm leaving a review because the restaurant isn't visible from the street, but it's definitely worth climbing those few steps. The decor is lovely, the staff seems very friendly, and the food is excellent.
I'd definitely go back to eat in sometime!
24/02/2026: The food was mediocre and hard to digest, but the service was disastrous. We waited an hour between ordering and receiving the ingredients for the barbecue! The waitress seemed overwhelmed, even though there were only three tables with customers, including ours, in the entire restaurant. A very bad experience; I won't be back.

16/09/2025: Tourist trap! We ordered a 'charcuterie board' for €24. The waitress asked us if we wanted it as a starter or a main course. We chose it as a main course, thinking we'd get a more generous portion... The result: a simple plate with barely eight small pieces of charcuterie, nothing like a real board. It's a good thing we added a bowl of fries (€4 extra). What a disappointment, especially after reading all the rave reviews of this restaurant...
