31/05/2026: Terrible service. We were practically forced to choose the most expensive wine without being given the menu. The mussels were good, but the seared scallops were frankly disgusting.

14/05/2026: For the repair of a roller shutter with wood-effect aluminum slats. Scheduling an appointment was quick. Three technicians arrived (why? Two would have been enough). They were on site for less than half an hour (flat rate €180). They replaced three broken fasteners (€21.63 x 3) on the roller drum. A transport fee of €50 (for a service call from Le Chesnay to Le Chesnay) was charged. The total bill was €324.35, which I find truly excessive...

03/01/2026: Our second getaway with friends to celebrate the end of the year, and it won't be the last! We felt right at home at La Gentilhommière, thanks to Marie-Andrée's warm welcome, the cozy living room with its Christmas tree and decorations, and the comfortable bedrooms. The region offers some interesting places to visit, such as the Château de Pierrefonds or the Rotonde de l'Armistice.

It's a far cry from what "La Belle de Mai" used to be under the previous owners, when you could spend a pleasant afternoon enjoying a snack (crepe or waffle). We wish you all the best, but we won't be returning, even though we used to love going there during the spring and summer.

29/06/2026: The restaurant is outdated, the banquettes are more than torn, and there are flies everywhere, making it very unpleasant to eat.
I must commend the young woman serving pasta; she has to manage the pasta, fish, and chicken orders because there's no one else to help her at 11:45 am.
The cashiers weren't very friendly. The cleaning needs improvement.
The food was very good and the price excellent.

28/05/2026: A meal on a terrace overlooking the quays is always a treat!
The calzones are fantastic, especially the four-cheese one. The servers are friendly and welcoming.
I highly recommend it; for me, it's one of the best pizzerias on the quays. Parking is still a problem, though; it's best to park in the museum car park and walk. The stroll is lovely too!
24/05/2026: The pizza was very good, generously topped, and had a lovely crust.
What's really a shame, hence the missing stars, is the dessert; we got a little sick. I don't mind that it wasn't homemade, but the vanilla ice cream was rancid. There needs to be some basic quality control of the ingredients...

30/11/2025: Contrary to some reviews I've read, the crepes are generously filled. They are well-made and very tasty. Bonus points for the service and atmosphere.
28/11/2025: Excellent service from Kevin! The crepe was crispy and tender with just the right amount of sugar. Fast service and a great price for the Galeries Lafayette area.
I highly recommend it.
