18/02/2026: Seafood was cooked poorly and didn’t taste fresh. Furthermore every table was served more entrees than we were, and even received dishes we were not served. Not sure how stupid they believe us to be, we can clearly see other tables receive 2x the serving and fish dishes we were not. They also placed our bag on a table with seafood water drenching it, leaving it with a foul seafood smell that isn’t washing off. Extremely expensive for what it is. Please do not go here unless money is truly not a concern for you, or maybe you will have a better time if you are not a tourist. Edit in response to Owner’s comment: Thanks for your reply. Never complained about the cover charge. certainly don’t confuse your unserved appetiser which looked seasoned to the platter which I certainly had “enough” of. I have never seen a restaurant where a dinner for 2 is a comfortable 200€ use excuses such as “small”. I expect service/food in accordance to the price I pay, not the amount of seats in your restaurant. Have a good day.

13/02/2026: Fantastic place. Every dish was an explosion of flavor, you could sense the passion behind every dish. EXCELLENT service! The wine selection was enviable, just as perfect as everything else! Wow, well done!

03/02/2026: Always a wonderful experience! From the service and the ever-improving selection of natural wines to the top-notch homemade cuisine, Le Troquet is a true delight! The little beef cheek croquettes are simply melt-in-your-mouth sweets. The fried chicken, a modern twist on karaage, is perfect. And even the desserts, including homemade chocolate mousse, are fantastic, with a particular favorite being the walnut and praline cream tart—wow, I recommend ordering one dessert per person! They offer excellent advice on wines and pairings, always with great suggestions. We simply had a wonderful time. A must-visit for tourists and locals alike! It's one of the best wine bars in Lyon. Bravo!

27/03/2026: Excellent restaurant where the chef accommodates dietary restrictions and the surprise menu was a delight. I didn't give it 4 stars for ambiance because we had very noisy neighbors, but otherwise it was perfect.

12/02/2026: In the kitchen, the dishes are delicious, generous, and very tasty. In the dining room, the service is friendly and welcoming, a traditional Alsatian winstub with a festive atmosphere.

03/02/2026: I have never been treated so badly in my life as I was as a guest at this restaurant. We had to wait an extremely long time before we were even served. The food and drinks were simply dumped on the table without any courtesy. When we asked the waitress for the bill, she silently placed the receipt on the table and then ignored us for about 30 minutes. In the end, we put the money on the table ourselves and left. I wouldn't have wanted to leave a tip in such a situation – but apparently, this is their preferred way of treating guests. The food was okay, but nothing special. I can only advise against visiting this restaurant. German-speaking guests, in particular, seem to be unwelcome here.

02/03/2026: This was my first time eating injera here! The injera and delicious vegetable and meat stew were a perfect treat for my tired stomach after a 10-day trip to Europe. The injera had a slight sourness, was soft and fizzy, and came in so much that I couldn't finish it all. ☺️ Thank you for the meal. The staff were also very kind.

14/03/2026: Excellent restaurant. We've known La Squadra since day one. Djamel and Malika are exceptional, both in their hospitality and their kindness. The pizzas are divine, and since they acquired the new oven, they rival those of Naples. A restaurant to try, to return to, and to recommend to as many people as possible.

31/01/2026: Disappointed that the pizzas listed on the menu aren't as described. This is the second time I've ordered a Champbutine, which lists basil among its ingredients, and it's missing. The Alpage pizza is supposed to have pancetta, not bacon. The least they could do is inform customers.
