22/05/2026: A very pretty place, with a guaranteed vintage atmosphere and a lovely terrace. The cuisine is original and a welcome change from the classic dishes found in other restaurants. The staff is very welcoming and does everything to make you feel comfortable. My second time there and I wasn't disappointed.

16/05/2026: The service was quick and very friendly. The mussels in cream sauce were delicious, but I must admit I was disappointed with the fries. They advertised fresh fries, so I was expecting homemade ones, but they weren't, and I didn't appreciate them. Everyone has their own tastes, of course, but not mine.

19/05/2026: I arrived, and the waiter Axel gave me a warm welcome and seated me at a lovely table overlooking the sea. The meal was excellent, with top-notch staff and the entire team. Thank you, I highly recommend it.

26/05/2026: Impeccable service and a warm welcome from start to finish. The restaurant's setting is idyllic, right across from Calvi's main waterfront. We opted for the €26 Corsican menu. A little gem of local delicacies: pâté, ham, stufatu (a type of Corsican sausage), and clementine crème brûlée. While the starter was a bit light on the palate, the rest of the menu was more than satisfying. Everything was perfect, flavorful, and well-presented. Except perhaps for the bread, which was rather average. Overall, the value for money was unbeatable, with excellent service and a perfect location.

17/06/2026: An excellent restaurant located on Rue Mouffetard. We had a wonderful time enjoying the generous portions served in a warm and authentic atmosphere. Everything was delicious, especially the perfectly toasted bread served alongside. Every bite was a pure delight. We will definitely return to enjoy this flavorful cuisine again.

16/06/2026: Passing by last night while strolling along Rue Mouffetard, my friend and I popped into this charming restaurant, worried it might be just a tourist trap. But what a delight it was to enjoy succulent, authentic Greek dishes, expertly recommended by our radiant waitress Leila, whose service was both warm and professional. We had a wonderful evening; sometimes things just work out for the best. It was our first time, and certainly not our last. We've already recommended the restaurant to our friends and family! 🥰

27/05/2026: Bad experience. The food was not good at all. I ordered pasta with eggplant, but it came as an eggplant paste instead of actual pieces of eggplant. It didn’t even taste like eggplant. The sauce was very sour and had way too much tomato flavor. The prices are far too expensive for the quality. Feels like a tourist trap. I honestly don’t understand how this place has such a high rating.

16/05/2026: A truly excellent place, a warm and friendly welcome that lasted throughout the entire meal (even though we had a rather late reservation). The food was superb, with generous portions, and a great selection of local wines. It's also conveniently located near the Arena and has parking available! Le Comptoir de Begles has it all.

16/05/2026: This restaurant is absolutely amazing! I live nearby, and my friends and I go there all the time. The food is absolutely incredible! I even pack some leftovers to take home for late-night snacks. Plus, the service is fantastic, and the owner is incredibly welcoming! Highly recommended! You won't be disappointed.

11/06/2026: Discovered this cocktail bar, drawn in by its selection of gins... the menu boasted original creations. In reality, they were more like mocktails sold at cocktail prices. They had absolutely no effect on me, and I'm normally very sensitive to strong drinks. The same was true for my friend. We paid and left disappointed! To be fair, the service was efficient and pleasant... but that doesn't make up for the weak cocktails, especially considering the price.

21/05/2026: A wide selection of cocktails (for €12-13) and gin, all in an intimate atmosphere. Everything is carefully considered: the menu as well as the decor. A small terrace on the cobblestones of Old Lyon adds to the charm of the place. La Cigale is a wonderful spot for a drink!
