19/09/2026: Excellent restaurant! We've been coming for two years now and it's fantastic. We'll definitely be back next year. The atmosphere is very friendly, the food is incredibly good and beautifully presented. It's my favorite restaurant! Bravo! Bravo! Anita and Patrick

15/09/2026: The owner and staff are friendly and attentive to customers. The food is very good.

31/08/2026: Excellent value for money, a lovely surprise we discovered on Sunday at lunchtime. We'll definitely be back. They accept restaurant vouchers and offer a great loyalty card.

19/08/2026: Food wine and service fantastic thank you

24/09/2026: Excellent value for money; we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and received a very warm welcome. We will definitely return and recommend your restaurant.

18/09/2026: Old but clean hotel with charm, wooden floors and stairs. No elevator. Friendly staff.

23/08/2026: Never disappointed, I eat what I choose.

10/08/2026: Thanks to Simon for his hospitality and the exceptional sandwiches.

28/09/2026: A very warm welcome. Quick and attentive service for a couple's dinner at 7 pm. Very good food and reasonable prices for the quality. Thank you! 😊

26/09/2026: Excellent regional cuisine, very pleasant and efficient staff... No waiting... I highly recommend it.

06/10/2026: We organized a birthday party for over 100 people at lunchtime. The aperitifs were served outside on the terrace, and lunch was in a private room upstairs. The setting is fantastic, right in the middle of the Ibis park. The service and the meal were of very high quality. I highly recommend it.

06/10/2026: Perfect place for a meal with friends

27/08/2026: All great, starting from the personnel Anna and Hillary, lots of fun and excellent food (we had gnocchi, lasagne and penne all'arrabbiata). Dont think twice, sure place to go.👍

23/08/2026: Excellent flavor and food preparation, everything we ordered was amazing, great environment, our last dinner in Paris

23/06/2026: I booked the room through Booking.com. Small but clean room, poor ventilation in high temperatures. No drinks available when the restaurant is closed. Breakfast is self-service and basic: coffee, tea, juice, water, toast, and various pre-packaged jams. So, not a buffet in the traditional sense. Okay for the price, if you don't have high expectations based on the reviews, hence only 3 stars from me.

31/05/2026: A warm welcome, comfortable room, and excellent dinner. As for the much-maligned breakfast, the concept is perfect: available at any time without disturbing anyone. Bread, butter, honey, jam, coffee, and milk are all provided. It's obviously not the breakfast with scrambled eggs and bacon only available from 8 a.m. on weekends, but it has the merit of being comprehensive.

07/09/2026: Very good restaurant. The burger was excellent with real fries. The salmon stew was also excellent, with lovely shrimp and good seasonal vegetables. Very good value for money in a very pleasant setting. Worth trying. Tip: book for lunch and then visit the Cordeliers Royal right next door! 😃

02/09/2026: Very good group meal with a responsive and quick waiter in a pleasant setting within the Corderie Royale.

12/09/2026: We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, both the food and the friendliness of the staff and the setting!

04/09/2026: Every time I go there, I'm never disappointed! The quality of the products is exceptional, and the price reflects that. You can go there with your eyes closed to eat raw fish. It's always a delicious experience! Don't hesitate!

01/10/2026: Very nice place, delicious food, great service. Highly recommended!

29/09/2026: A great restaurant! Very friendly staff and excellent food!

05/09/2026: I came back because of a change of ownership and honestly, I wasn't disappointed. We had kebabs and tacos, which were really delicious. We'll definitely go back. It's a shame I didn't think to take pictures 😉

09/08/2026: If you're craving a pizza, a burger, a taco, etc., I highly recommend this place; its sign says it all about the quality. You'll be treated like royalty. Look no further, it's the best in Lisieux.

05/10/2026: A sublime place and attentive staff, the cocktails and sharing plates are refined!

05/10/2026: Unfortunately, our experience at Maxim’s was disappointing from start to finish. We waited far too long to order our first cocktails, then again to place our food order. Service remained inconsistent throughout the meal: our oysters arrived with only one finger bowl, a side salad was forgotten until dessert, and we had to ask three times for butter. We also noticed neighboring tables repeatedly following up on items they had ordered, so the service issues did not appear limited to our table. At one point, a waiter was visibly scolded in front of guests, which added to an uncomfortable atmosphere. The live “jazz” music was also surprisingly poor and, rather than adding to the elegance of the room, became distracting at times. Even the table setup felt poorly maintained. The lamp at our table was hardwired with a cord running alongside the table, and staff repeatedly stepped on it, causing the lamp to go out. At one point, two staff members had to manipulate the wire to get it working again. My husband also believed he could see exposed wiring. The setting is beautiful and historic, but the food itself was mediocre and did not make up for the service, atmosphere, or maintenance issues. Given Maxim’s reputation and price point, we expected a much more polished experience.

12/09/2026: Excellent, honestly very good. I recommend it. Beautiful setting. The young woman serving was very kind and efficient.

11/09/2026: Decent for a €25 set menu. There were four of us. Very pleasant waitress.

03/06/2026: Restaurant that no longer exists

21/03/2026: Excellent restaurant, I can't say enough good things about it. The welcome was warm and just perfect. The food was delicious. I highly recommend it.
