08/08/2026: Excellent pizzas! We ordered over 20 and they were all delicious. The service is very efficient: the pizzas were prepared quickly despite the large quantity. The owners, who work together as a family, are lovely, friendly, and very welcoming. A great place that I highly recommend!

30/07/2026: We were just passing through and ordered two pizzas, one vegetarian and one four-cheese. The welcome was friendly and pleasant. The food and pizza were very good. They were on time. We arrived early, the atmosphere was good, and we had a drink while we waited. I recommend Mama Pizza. Thank you.

14/07/2026: 35 euros for three lettuce leaves, a spoonful of lentils, and a few pieces of gizzard, not even seasoned, followed by duck confit served with reheated potatoes (nothing like the picture of the dish), two scoops of ice cream for dessert or a small bowl of strawberries with sugar. Add a bottle of wine, an aperitif, and a coffee... 50 euros per person... and for that price, not even air conditioning... seriously, a tourist trap, avoid it.

The dishes are delicious, and the waitress is incredibly kind and accommodating, adapting dishes to customers' allergies—something not every restaurant can do. The restaurant's interior is lovely, even if the facade doesn't immediately entice you to go in. We'll definitely be back, and keep up the great work showcasing local produce.

09/08/2026: Exceptional street food at Lafayette Gourmet! A fantastic discovery at Starving Club. We tried the burgers and hot dogs, and they were simply delicious! The buns were soft, the meat juicy, and the sauces perfectly seasoned. Generous portions and flavorful dishes.

31/08/2026: Probably the best pub in Bordeaux. The burgers and other dishes are prepared with uncommon flair and in generous portions. The menu changes seasonally, with different burgers each week, more tartare in the summer, and pies in the winter. The traditional fish and chips, with minty mushy peas, is served year-round. On weekends, a full English breakfast is offered, and on Sundays during the winter, they serve the sonorro, a magnificently roasted meat. If you think the English aren't known for their cuisine, head straight to Sweeney Todd's; you'll change your mind! A special mention goes to the staff, who are exceptionally friendly!

09/08/2026: We celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary yesterday at lunchtime at the restaurant, and everything went wonderfully! The welcome and service from the team were incredibly warm, and the culinary journey itself was impressive. The amuse-bouche was a strikingly light emulsion, enhanced by sweet potato chips whose sweet crispness perfectly complemented the creaminess of the mousse, awakening the palate. For the first course, the foie gras was accompanied by a Banyuls sauce that was neither heavy nor overly sweet. The freshness of the foie gras was impeccable, the cooking perfect, releasing captivating aromas and boasting a wonderfully tender texture. The second course, the lobster, offered remarkably balanced seasoning. The young shoots of fresh coriander provided a perfectly timed seasonal touch, the jus was bursting with umami flavors, and the lobster—like the foie gras—was cooked to perfection. The sauce for the turbot fillet might have lacked a touch of depth, but the accompanying ratatouille was an undeniable success. So successful, in fact, that it almost overshadowed the turbot itself (although the delicate, melt-in-your-mouth flesh of the turbot was certainly not lacking). The pan-fried sweetbreads, an iconic ingredient of French haute cuisine, were prepared with great skill. While the sauce adhered to tradition, the chef made the bold choice to forgo the usual morels in favor of a perfectly executed seasonal mushroom sauce. While the dishes already demonstrated a perfect mastery of classic French cuisine, the sommelier's selection added a real touch of class: four glasses of remarkable quality, with impeccable food and wine pairings, offered at a very reasonable price. (And two of the four glasses were from the Auvergne region—what a surprise!) Finally, the honey and apricot soufflé, accompanied by rosemary ice cream, brought this gastronomic journey to a beautiful close. The soufflé was a complete success! Its airy texture echoed the emulsion at the beginning of the meal. A first spoonful of warm soufflé revealed the full richness of the honey combined with the perfect acidity of the apricot pieces hidden at the bottom of the ramekin; then, a spoonful of rosemary ice cream, both fresh and delicate, created a striking contrast and balanced the whole. If I, a layperson, had to identify a guiding principle for this seasonal menu, it would be: balance, complete mastery, a touch of personal interpretation, and a respect for the classics. In short, this culinary experience has left us with a truly memorable wedding celebration. Thank you for this moment! From now on, when we return home to Clermont from the Puy de Dôme or Vulcania, the iconic blue sign of this establishment will remind us of this precious wedding anniversary meal and give us only one desire: to return as soon as possible.

23/08/2026: A very beautiful restaurant, with a refined and cozy atmosphere. No unnecessary "Asian" decor. There were five of us to celebrate the end of our vacation and reminisce about our trip to Thailand. We weren't disappointed; the appetizers were delicious, from the steamed dumplings to the satay skewers—everything was excellent. For the main course, we had three different curries, each with its own distinct character. My favorite was the beef salad with herbs, which was incredibly fragrant and flavorful. Just one small complaint: the mango sticky rice didn't quite taste like it did back home. Otherwise, it was a true trip down memory lane and a very enjoyable experience. However, the price was decidedly European...

Beyond the quality of the food, the service is outstanding: the waitress was exceptionally kind and thoughtfully brought my little black cocker spaniel a bowl of fresh water. A warm and dog-friendly establishment where you feel right at home. I highly recommend it!
