And on the plate, the dishes were as delicious as they were beautiful, the flavors were sophisticated. A huge plus for the desserts, which were also absolutely delicious. The fish is always cooked to perfection, the richness of the dishes, both in the variety of ingredients and the care taken with each one, is incredible, and what can I say about the desserts…😋 And all this with a warm, genuine, and attentive welcome! A little explanation to the gentleman who, to my great surprise, gave only one star to the previous review: when you write a review, you should rate the restaurant if, and ONLY if, you have eaten there 😅😂

29/09/2026: Welcome to Audaux, in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques region, right in the heart of Gascony. Here you'll find the Auberge Claverie, certainly more famous than Château Gassion. You can't miss it; the parking lot is always full. And then there it is: It's pure bliss, Palace for the palate, Nitravagy for the taste buds, pure joy for the senses. In short, the Eldorado of our beloved French countryside. All this in a warm, welcoming, and friendly local atmosphere. Thank you, ladies and gentlemen of the management, the chefs, and the staff of this place. You left me speechless, just like your perfectly balanced and delicious dessert. Bravo!

27/09/2026: A wonderful discovery. A €36 set menu per person including starter, main course, dessert, and their excellent homemade garbure (cabbage and bean soup). Highly recommended and we'll definitely be back!

09/07/2026: My Mom told me about this restaurant and five years after she ate here it is still just as delicious! Amazing quality of fresh food prepared like fine cuisine. Not at all expensive. Friendly, accommodating service. Eat here as often as you can in different seasons to enjoy the chef’s changing menu. The July 2026 menu features a tuna dish and an artichoke appetizer to try, the porc is fantastic too and served with the freshest peas we have ever eaten. Heavenly desserts too!

09/10/2026: I absolutely loved Café sur Cours! I adored the atmosphere and the warm welcome. The service is impeccable: attentive, quick, and always with a smile. The lunch menu and set menu are varied and very well thought out. Special mention goes to the butcher's cut, cooked to perfection, accompanied by delicious bistro-style fries. A truly wonderful place that I will definitely return to!
