30/07/2026: Cinq, near Gare de Clamart, is a small, chef-owned spot worth knowing about if you're in the area. We visited in June 2025 during Fête de la Musique. We shared a few dishes for around €30-40 per person: a creamy mushroom penne with crispy red onion, shaved parmesan and cracked black pepper; a cured salmon starter with grapefruit, pomegranate and passion fruit that came across bright and citrusy rather than heavy; a smash-style cheeseburger with melted cheddar on a sesame brioche bun, served with roasted fondant potatoes; and a chili con carne over roasted eggplant and squash with guacamole, pico de gallo and a cabbage slaw — an unexpected combination that worked well. We also had an Apérol Spritz iced tea, a nice twist on the usual spritz. What stood out most was the owner, who's also the head chef and clearly hands-on — he came by to check how the meal was going, which felt genuine rather than routine. Service was warm throughout. The space is small (I'd guess no more than 50 people at once) and nicely decorated without feeling fussy. Worth knowing: the menu changes often, so don't go expecting these exact dishes — it's more a reflection of the kitchen's overall consistency than any one item. I'd go back — the food held up across very different styles (pasta, seafood, burger, chili), and having the chef genuinely engage with diners is rare enough to matter.

15/10/2026: Excellent, very warm welcome, thank you :) The dishes were delicious. The wine too. We opted for two royal couscous dishes, the Mohammed V (Moroccan style) and the Louis XIV (French style). They were delicious. We were obviously full and saved room for dessert (and we got a doggy bag). The little mint tea is worth it, and the desserts are too.

The staff kept smiling despite an unexpected Monday mishap. I'll definitely return next time I'm in Lyon and try other dishes. 09/10/2026: A delightful surprise in Paris! A wonderful experience! During our stay in Paris, we were fortunate enough to discover this restaurant, which was a true surprise! The food is excellent, the prices are fair, and the service is simply impeccable! But what truly charmed us was the care and attention of the entire team. ORDER THE CRAFT BEERS AND YOU WON'T REGRET IT! We are Brazilian, and upon realizing we were speaking Portuguese, the owner kindly sought out a customer who also spoke our language to help with communication and ensure we were served in the best possible way. A gesture of care and kindness that made all the difference! And it made us return, not just once, but five more times. Everyone was extremely helpful, attentive, and attentive, always striving to provide us with the best experience. It's the kind of place where you feel truly welcome! I recommend it wholeheartedly! Without a doubt, it was one of the best memories we will take away from Paris. And when we return to the city, this restaurant will be a must-stop! Our sincerest thanks to the entire team for such exceptional service! ❤️

30/09/2026: For me, it's my favorite castle: the "Ladies' Castle," as it's more commonly known, the Château de Chenonceau is magnificent. You arrive via a central avenue. The gardens are beautiful and superbly maintained. The architecture, which spans the Cher River, gives the castle an exceptional appearance. The interior is well-decorated, the rooms are well-recreated, and you learn a little more about all the personalities who have made this castle world-renowned. IMPORTANT! If you buy your tickets online, you cannot get the audio guide; you have to buy it separately at the ticket office. We didn't know this, and we missed it…

30/09/2026: Awesome! Comfortable weather at end of September. Concerned about the heat for those who visit it in summer months. Not at all handicapped accessible. But audio guide at ticket office only (when you first gain access to the property).

28/09/2026: We received a very warm welcome from a young man on the phone and then again at the Central Sushi shop in Dijon. It's so nice these days to find polite and friendly people. Thank you!

01/10/2026: We had dinner last night...and as always it is confirmed that if there are so many trucks outside it is because the food is good at the right price...and it really was like that...the staff was smiling and friendly...Great atmosphere...we had a great time

30/08/2026: A gem of Ivory Coast cuisine near Gare Saint Roch. We ordered the Yassa de Poulet and Choukouya de Poulet with a side of alloco (fried plantains), both solid choices for rich complex flavours. And the chili sauce on the side made it just perfect for us! The visit was highlighted by our warm and friendly host, Cassandra, who gave us very helpful descriptions and recommendations. We recommend this restaurant highly and will surely return when we’re back.

And she said “I cannot wait, order now”, “in which world you are living now”, “I also had a stressed day”. Didn’t except someone to talk to me this way.

12/10/2026: Small, traditional Japanese restaurant, efficient and well-thought-out menu, pleasant service and reasonable prices. Go without hesitation.
