29/07/2026: The owner and staff were pleasant, the pasta was very good, but the wait for takeaway was long (around twenty minutes), and the portion was far too small for lunch. I would have preferred to pay €1 or €2 more and have a proper meal. Edit: Thank you for your reply. However, it's not about having a "very hearty appetite": the portion mentioned, approximately 600 kcal, spread over three meals a day, does not meet the caloric needs of an average-sized man. I suggest you consider this!

27/07/2026: I ordered the Rigatoni pasta for €11.50 with a Coca-Cola for €2.50; it would have been better to have sparkling water instead of soda to better appreciate the dish. The toilets were clean, and the staff were pleasant.

20/09/2026: The place is pleasant enough, but the food is truly disastrous. A pathetic charcuterie platter made with cheap, low-quality ingredients, and a completely botched, uninteresting hamburger. Only the fries were any good 😪 A place to avoid. It's a real tourist trap. And on top of that, the owner is very unpleasant. Run away!!!!!

07/09/2026: I first discovered this bakery on a trip to Paris, and now every time I’m back in the city, I always make a stop here! Everything is incredibly fresh, buttery and delicious. I’ve tried the cookie roll, croissant and pain au chocolat, and they were all really good. There’s also a great variety of pastries, brioches, breads and savoury options, so there’s always something tempting to try. The prices are very reasonable for Paris, and they even have menus, which is a great option if you want to grab something more complete. It’s a takeaway spot with no seating inside, but it’s perfect for picking up something delicious and enjoying it while exploring the city. Definitely one of my favourite bakery stops in Paris, I always come back when I’m here!

29/09/2026: Superb view, fantastic welcome, top-notch waitresses and waiters, and the food was a delight. My partner and I went back three times in a row. We went in September and are going back again this Friday. And when a restaurant's restrooms are clean, the kitchen is impeccable; you can eat there without worry. In fact, the third time we went back for lunch, the waitress recognized us and offered us two Kir and blackcurrant liqueurs for our aperitif. Yes, that made us happy!

28/09/2026: To put it simply… the food was decent, and the service was "French-style," so you have to be nice to the waiters. We still had a good time, though. The rosé was chilled, the sun was warm, there was a lovely terrace, and we weren't in a hurry.

23/08/2026: A wonderful dining experience. Very friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended. The seared tuna with homemade ratatouille left a very pleasant taste memory. The much-anticipated mirabelle plum tart was also very much appreciated. Looking forward to returning!

28/09/2026: I've been eating at this restaurant for several years now; everything is very good, well-cooked, and the portions are generous—we're rarely disappointed. It's true that sometimes it's a bit difficult to understand each other when ordering, but since a young person joined the staff, it's much better, so keep up the good work! For me, the restaurant is definitely worth a visit!

26/09/2026: Excellent kebab 🌯 The meat was delicious, the portions generous, and everything was very fresh. The welcome was warm and the service quick. The prices were reasonable. I highly recommend it; we thoroughly enjoyed it 😍

16/09/2026: Lunch for 4 adults with a reservation made the day before. We were able to eat on the terrace and tried the set menu. For €20, the three-course meal (starter, main, and dessert) was very good and, above all, generous, with a special mention for the homemade blueberry tart. Kudos to the kitchen team and a very special thank you to JB, the waiter, for his warm welcome and professionalism.

23/07/2026: Excellent value for money! The pasta was excellent and the tiramisu was truly delicious. However, the lemonade must have been on vacation because what ended up in the glass was lemonade in name only. The atmosphere was a bit too noisy for my taste, but what struck me most was the presence of enormous cobwebs in the corners and on the ceiling. It's a shame! With a little more attention to detail in the dining room and some proper lemonade, the experience would have been almost perfect.

01/06/2026: The pizzas were very good, made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Unfortunately, the experience was marred by the manager's attitude; her welcome was cold and unfriendly. Upon arrival, she offered us a high table even though many other seats were available. Fortunately, a waitress from upstairs came to take our order and spontaneously offered to move us to another table, which we greatly appreciated. Another disappointing point: when we asked for ice, the manager told us the machine was broken. Yet, a few moments later, we saw several glasses served with ice. It's a shame, because the quality of the pizzas and the professionalism of the rest of the team deserve better. A little more effort on the welcome and service would make all the difference.

25/08/2026: WORKING AC for the private 4 bedroom this was the most important part because the ac was very strong and working. showers and bathroom were decent but no shampoo or body with is a shame because its a hostel and ppl who r backpacking should be staying but obv they wont carry that wish they had a mirror in the rooms because its not convenient running to the bathrooms

30/06/2026: Non-refundable policy takes priority over a heatwave killing people in Paris. I have a booking at The People Paris Belleville coming up, during a heatwave that is currently killing people in Paris. I reached out to ask for a refund or, at minimum, to move my dates to when it is safe to travel. They said no to both. I know I booked a non-refundable rate. I know what that means. What I cannot accept is that a business looks at a city where people are dying from the heat and decides that booking terms matter more than a person's safety. Their response was to remind me that air conditioning exists in their dorms and to suggest I book a flexible rate next time. People are dying. That should matter more than money. It really should. Book here if you want, but know that if something truly serious happens before your stay, you will get a polite email and nothing else.

27/09/2026: The place is nice and the waitresses are pleasant. However, we were quite disappointed with the food. We ordered homemade cordon bleu and ended up with a rather unusual version: turkey ham swimming in a large amount of béchamel sauce, with the meat unfortunately undercooked… We simply would have appreciated being told that the dish was being prepared this way, as it's clearly not what you expect when you order cordon bleu.

16/09/2026: A stop that will never happen again. Mediocre dishes, what was available, and a less than ideal owner. The waitress was friendly but did what she could... keep walking!
