02/10/2026: I didn't like the quality of McDonald's France in general. Even though I removed some of the toppings from my order, they didn't remove them, and the fries were also wilted and oily, unlike the fries McDonald's usually gives. They put the nuggets for my son in a plastic container, and I honestly can't guarantee their cleanliness. Even the cola came in plastic cups.

06/10/2026: I was very disappointed with the beef, and I wasn't the only one at the table. The steaks were tough and required a lot of chewing before swallowing. The rest was okay, nothing more.

29/09/2026: A fantastic discovery for me! My parents were already familiar with the place and had been very happy with it on their previous visits. For me, everything was perfect, from the presentation to the quality of the products. I highly recommend it!

09/09/2026: How to put it…nice terrace, nice menu, fries and coffee okay…but tense atmosphere! We heard the owner yelling at customers because “you have to book to use a gift card”…then the overwhelmed waitress saying “the customers are unpleasant”…in short, we won’t be back.

07/09/2026: We came for a birthday celebration and everything went very well. The food was good and the service was quick. However, we were shocked by the attitude of a rather older waitress, who wore glasses and treated another, younger waitress very rudely. She even said to her outright, "Aren't you tired of doing nothing?" even though the younger waitress was taking good care of us. The younger waitress started crying in front of us. It's really a shame for the atmosphere, because this kind of behavior affects the other customers.

11/10/2026: Incredible! It's amazing that a restaurant of this quality, with excellent value for money, is so little known and isn't fully booked at lunch and dinner. This restaurant, a sort of "neo-brasserie," has it all: the modern and tasteful decor, the discreet background music, and the subdued atmosphere are perfect for conversation and enjoying a meal. The menu is short but well-balanced, with regularly updated seasonal dishes, some cooked over embers, which gives them that distinctive aroma. The wine list is more extensive, with a reasonable price range (though still a bit pricey for Paris) and a wide selection of cocktails. The service is impeccable. The young waitress, as efficient as she is attentive, carries out her duties with a gentle touch. The food at Le Chimère is delicious, from appetizers to desserts, and the portions are just right. Tonight, we savored the lamb meatballs and a remarkable seared tuna, thoroughly enjoying this dinner with friends. Will we return to Le Chimère, as François Simon would say? Yes, absolutely. Le Chimère isn't just a restaurant; it gives us what we come to a restaurant for: quality cuisine in a place where we feel comfortable. Go there soon. One day, it will surely be packed.

10/10/2026: The food, the service, and the ambiance—everything is impeccable. So romantic! A cozy place where you can have a lovely, intimate conversation. The dishes are DELICIOUS. I ordered the lamb meatballs, and I highly recommend them. The desserts are MAGNIFICENT too! We tried the chocolate mousse, the caramel ice cream, and the fig tart—all three were amazing! It's a wonderful discovery; you'll be seeing us again quite often 😁

I was extremely disappointed by the quality of the service and the product presentation, which was unworthy of this establishment. It's a shame you made a good sale from my clients today (October 1st), but you've lost the future purchases of my next clients… Your saleswomen at the Madeleine location really need a refresher course in customer service.

16/09/2026: The grilled cuttlefish was perfectly cooked with its lemon-basil risotto: a perfect pairing, and a refreshing Chartreuse to finish the meal! The expertise was evident, and the service was very professional. A wonderful memory!

07/09/2026: For my birthday, I was surprised with my dessert (my husband was in on it with the waitress). I was greeted with a smile and a sense of humor, and the meal was excellent. The value for money was unbeatable. The interior and exterior were very attractive. They accept ANCV holiday vouchers. I highly recommend it.

15/10/2026: We arrived unexpectedly as a group of seven, and the super friendly team made room for us! We opted for the set menu: everything was delicious. I adored the lentils, both the cooking and the subtle presentation. The carrot cake dessert with its whipped fromage frais was to die for! And the small beer to go with it was delightful! A great find in the Buttes Chaumont neighborhood, where places are often expensive. Clearly, everyone knows about it: it was packed, and the atmosphere was fantastic! A word of advice: make a reservation to be sure not to miss out on this gem!

11/10/2026: Like school cafeteria food, but much more expensive: mashed potatoes and fish or soggy meat and fries, friendly service, very noisy. Nothing is cooked properly. A huge disappointment.

24/08/2026: Meal for 5 adults - third time we've been - the waiter wasn't very friendly from the start - the dishes weren't up to our usual standard - the duck breast, ordered pink, was served well-done - the beef fillet: we received a piece that didn't resemble a fillet at all / very poorly cut: we asked for a replacement and received the new one within a minute - the side dishes were bland and always the same ingredients. No creativity whatsoever. We were surprised by the difference in service between our first and last visits. I don't recommend it.

14/08/2026: Good experience, but above all avoid the parking lot where a white coating stains the entire floor of your car: unacceptable.

12/09/2026: The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and gave a thorough historically based lecture on the house. The tour was entirely in French and my brain lost the ability to concentrate after 2 hours, so I departed early. Tour was still going strong!
