15/01/2025: We arrived after a long trip and had a wonderful dinner, fast and friendly service. We don't leave anything on the sets

09/01/2025: A great experience out of season... Few restaurants open in the evening during the week in Saintes-Maries. No pizza, exceptionally. And some specialties “victims of their success”. Nevermind. This gave us the opportunity to enjoy tasty and delicious food. And generous! Small, very fragrant homemade digestive (with plants) and original offered by the house. It's a change from the traditional limoncello. Little extra for lovers of four-legged companions: A dog-friendly restaurant. Three adorable dogs were there that evening. It's rare.

04/09/2024: Sommes des voyageurs qui fonctionnons beaucoup avec TRIPADVISOR pour le choix de nos restaurants. Et la, nous sommes étonnés de voir que vous êtes 2ème derrière le OUATSOU. Pour avoir fait les deux ce weekend là, le Bessoi est largement mieux que OUATSOU. Plats variés, rapport qualité prix plus que correct. Entrée plat dessert pour à peine 21€. Plat du jour à tomber saucisse aligot, saucisse de très très bonne qualité, on s'est régalés. On recommande et on reviendra

20/09/2024: You will be welcomed by Romane and her friend who took over this 80-year-old institution in May 2024. The products offered are real local products - we enjoyed the ice creams produced by a local artisan who reuses products from his parents' farm. Modern offers around a hundred wines to discover with the help of Romande, an oenologist who will be able to explain everything about the grape varieties. Wine events are organized once a month - we have not yet had the right to do so. The oenologist on our visit has the café restaurant Le Moderne called: Romane - great wine tastings in store. One workshop per month or by reservation. She is fascinating Furthermore, the café offers very good homemade dishes using local products. Not to be missed!!

29/09/2024: Passing through Cabourg with my mother, we finally decided to come to Houlgate late to eat. At past 9 p.m., it was the only restaurant that welcomed us, we were very well received, with a smile and a friendliness that is rare today. We ate really well and were not disappointed to have come to eat there. We'll come back!

14/12/2024: Belle découverte 🥰. Des plats copieux avec du goût. Le burger végé est goûteux avec de la mozzarella fumée et ses légumes . La carbonade flamande avec une viande cuisinée à souhait avec une sauce délicieuse. Les desserts sont une tuerie 😜. Un vrai cuisto et un vrai pâtissier font la différence

10/12/2024: Beautiful, well-prepared and copious plates. Real crispy fries. As for the dessert (Paris Brest) a delight! A delicious choux pastry and an equally good cream. Finally a good dessert in a restaurant! I hope tarte tatin will be on your menu one day

27/10/2024: Cuisine: Je suis plusieurs fois venu manger ici et ça a toujours été excellent, autant les sandwich, que le chawarma au poulet, les salades ou les pièces (5/5) Service: J’ai toujours été servi rapidement, sans doute car je prenais des plats populaires (chawarma poulet, sandwich…). Prenez en compte qu’il y a souvent du monde dans ce restaurant donc si vous prenez un plat « atypique », ça peut être un peu plus long (5/5) Atmosphère: Le lieu est simple mais la déco’ est sympa et s’accorde bien avec la vide du restaurant (5/5) Prix: Le rapport qualité-prix est vraiment excellent (5/5)

23/09/2024: By far the best mussels I have eaten. Usually, in the restaurants in which I ate them, the mussels were overcooked, rubbery, there were mussels a la minute. A treat! The waitress is very pleasant and smiling.
