09/07/2026: A very bad experience. Last night, three of us went to eat and we all ordered the Biggy Algerian meal for 180. A few hours after getting home, we all felt unwell. One of my friends had severe diarrhea accompanied by frequent vomiting, and we all experienced digestive problems. Based on our experience, we felt the food wasn't fresh. This is very worrying when you eat at a restaurant. We are extremely disappointed and hope the establishment will check its hygiene standards and the freshness of its products so that this doesn't happen again. As for us, we will not be returning.

05/01/2026: Having been there several times, I can say the service is poor. The last time, we were crammed into the entrance vestibule with 20 other people because "there were no more seats." No waiting, no information, we left as quickly as we arrived...

23/05/2026: I had lunch on the terrace today. A very warm welcome and excellent food… I indulged in the duck breast with port sauce, sweet potato fries and grilled vegetables, as well as a homemade tarte tatin with a scoop of vanilla ice cream… Delicious! Thank you. 🍀✨

18/05/2026: After several visits to this restaurant, both during and outside of peak tourist season, the food remains consistently good and plentiful. However, the atmosphere and staff, including the owner, seem less pleasant and welcoming. The price is reasonable for the quantity of food served, with one minor complaint: the water carafe had rust stains at the bottom.

22/04/2026: A pub called Guinness Serving Guinness with an unsuitable tap Honestly, not good, especially at €8 a pint! The answer: the Guinness had no taste, no texture in either the beer or the head, nothing like a Guinness. If it's not the tap, then your keg is watered down; I can't see any other explanation.

02/04/2026: The bartender's behavior was unacceptable; she was outraged that my mother-in-law wasn't drinking alcohol in the middle of the afternoon simply because she was in a bar! At what point in 2026 do we question someone's choice not to drink alcohol?

19/05/2026: A lovely brasserie/restaurant right in the center. They offer a small but excellent selection of lunch specials. The duck with raspberries was exceptionally well-prepared, preceded by a beautifully presented appetizer. The service was friendly and efficient. Prices are a bit higher than in other restaurants. Definitely worth a visit for lunch.

01/05/2026: The decor is nice, and the service is fine, but it's still expensive. The bill came to 150 euros for 3 adults and 2 children, including a main course, dessert, and coffee. I know plenty of restaurants where we could have eaten better for that price.

14/06/2026: We arrived at L’Escale as a couple, intending to have lunch there. After requesting a table, we waited for several minutes without being attended to. Meanwhile, several customers who arrived after us were seated and served before us, while we were simply ignored. After an incomprehensible wait, without any explanation or apology, we finally decided to leave. In addition to this appalling service, the prices seemed particularly high, especially €18 for a simple Caesar salad, a price difficult to justify given what's available in the area. What should have been a pleasant experience turned into a frustrating one. We ultimately found a warmer welcome and better value for money at a simple bakery. A restaurant can make a mistake, but completely ignoring customers from the moment they arrive is unacceptable. We will not be returning.

09/06/2026: Definitely don't go there, it's very unpleasant. Even asking if we could have a more accessible table for a disabled person was complicated. Then, we were asked to leave less than five minutes after being seated because we were making too much noise. We didn't get to eat anything. The waitress was awful.

23/06/2026: I've been a regular at Piccolo Mondo for over seven years now, and it's always a real pleasure to come back. The pizzas are excellent, generous, and prepared with care. My favorite is still, without a doubt, the Pizzaiolo—a delight every time! But beyond the pizzas, the cocktails are fantastic, and the desserts are just as delicious. Whether you're inside, especially in the magnificent Venice room, or on the terrace when the sun is shining, the atmosphere is always pleasant and friendly. You feel right at home as soon as you walk through the door. A big thank you to Jean-Jacques, the owner, and his entire team for their consistently warm welcome, professionalism, and good humor. You can tell they're truly dedicated to ensuring their customers have a great time, and that makes all the difference. After all these years, I've never been disappointed. This is a place I wholeheartedly recommend and where I will continue to return again and again. Thank you to Jean-Jacques and the entire team for the many wonderful moments spent there! 🍕👌🏾😀

02/06/2026: Nice coffee shop with very friendly and welcoming staff. We had the cold Greek coffee, different, not sure I'd order it again. Great place to sit and people watch. Lots of shade on our side and umbrellas on the other side. Same name but not sure it's the same place? Recommend 🇨🇦

27/02/2026: Average service, the beer at €4.60 is very expensive, we're not in Tours Place Plumereau, I won't be back. Indeed, the beer is €4.50 because I paid €5 and they only gave me 50 cents, expensive for a beer.

11/02/2026: 19 euros for 12 thin slices of cucumber, 2 heaping tablespoons of shepherd's pie with 3 lettuce leaves and a slice of Charlotte biscuit. Really very expensive, nothing like the previous owners who offered decent portions and cheese for less. The new waitress has a nice, professional smile but is unpleasant if you tell her what you think and makes it clear you should go somewhere else if you're not happy.

30/05/2026: Really tasty food, good service and nice price! We were not sure about where to have breakfast this morning and spot this place with many people sitting outside, and indeed a popular place because it is worth it. Definitely recommend :)) A few pigeons were a bit annoying but not a big deal
