28/05/2026: The service was appalling; the waitress was exasperated, eager to finish her shift, and very unpleasant. We were seated on the terrace, and she ruined our lunch. We ordered the poke bowl, which was very basic and uninteresting.

26/05/2026: I came for a client lunch. The service was excellent. However, the beef tartare was a complete disappointment: literally raw minced meat in a shredded, angel hair-like consistency with an egg yolk on top. Unappetizing and very bland. (And expensive to boot.) For such a classic dish, it's a real shame. The chef could have made the effort to prepare it properly and make it better. €11 for a glass of wine, same story. Luckily, we have the receipts. I'm deducting three stars just for the tartare; it's unforgivable, Chef.

16/05/2026: Visited Friday evening, May 15th - great atmosphere, clean and welcoming place, attentive staff. Delicious dessert. I recommend it 👍

12/05/2026: I received a very warm welcome, the meal was delicious, and Rafik gave a very nice demonstration of meat cooking. I highly recommend it.

08/07/2026: Excellent restaurant. Good traditional Alsatian cuisine, generous portions. Reasonable prices. Good wine (especially the Pinot Blanc). Very calm and relaxed atmosphere.

24/05/2026: Dinner with my son in a retro music atmosphere. For starters, a delicious homemade terrine followed by a potato galette with smoked salmon. It's possible to buy the terrines before leaving.

25/05/2026: The service was appalling... You practically have to ask for a greeting. We waited to find out if there were any tables available, to which we were told "I don't know," only to be told two minutes later that it wasn't possible, without even checking with the staff on the terrace. I used to love eating at this restaurant, but it seems to have changed, which is a real shame.

12/05/2026: I think the "Au Bascou" website isn't up to date... No Hare à la Royale, no Oreiller de la belle Aurore, no foie gras... Just mediocre Basque-inspired cuisine, far from the advertised bistronomy. I even doubt the chef is still Renaud Marcille, or if he is... Anyway, the waitress was particularly surly and unpleasant. Etsipena! (disappointment in Basque)

19/04/2026: A restaurant that has garnered international attention and attracts a crowd. A concise menu featuring Basque-inspired dishes. Generous portions made with fresh ingredients! A fine wine list. A truly enjoyable experience.

23/04/2026: Usually satisfied, but today it was impossible to know they were closed. You book by phone, but there's no personalized message saying they're closed. I hope this isn't a serious problem.

08/06/2026: A little gem nestled in a sublime landscape, with a terrace offering a splendid view! Delicious and refined dishes, and a welcoming, warm staff who pamper you! We had a truly wonderful time! I highly recommend it!
