31/05/2026: We arrived this morning for coffee, and the manager of the Querrien hotel-restaurant told us the coffee machine wasn't working! It was 9:00 AM, and the hotel guests were enjoying their breakfasts. Our disappointment was matched only by our initial, indescribable joy... So, a word to those who value kindness, respect, and professionalism: AVOID the Querrien in Cancale without hesitation. The welcome is a disgrace, and on top of that, it's delivered with arrogance and an oversized ego! Fortunately for us, just a few meters away, we were received with the utmost respect.

28/05/2026: Warm welcome and very friendly service. But the food was 😞 not good and very expensive for what was probably frozen. We won't be back.

20/05/2026: What a disappointment! It's beautifully presented, but the quality is lacking. The John Dory with vegetables was dry and overcooked, the vegetables were insignificant, and the asparagus velouté was tasteless. The calf's head at €27 was reheated sous-vide. The potatoes were crumbly. The chocolate fondant was swimming in a custard that was surely watered down. Frankly, I don't understand how this restaurant can have 4 out of 5 stars. The waitress didn't seem surprised by our complaint...

14/07/2026: A really nice bar in Toulouse, I highly recommend it. I'd like to add a few things that need improvement: - No soap in the restrooms (a bit gross) - The bartenders were rather unfriendly. I was queuing for the restroom and one of them pushed me. I understand it's busy, but it's unnecessary. - The World Cup match had a latency of at least 30 seconds. I wouldn't have said anything, but the bar claimed to be showing the matches, so they should at least follow through... Apart from these details, it's always a good time.

10/07/2026: A very bad experience. It was last night, during the match, and it was my first time at this bar. The bouncer asked for my ID. I simply asked why, as I was surprised. When I said I thought it was excessive, he claimed I was being rude. When I tried to show him my ID, he refused to look at it, denied me entry, and insulted me. Disrespectful and completely unprofessional behavior.

12/06/2026: Bland food, cold dishes (even the ribeye steak…), corked wine sent back, interminable service. That was the result of our first visit. We tried again a week later… The place has the potential to be fantastic, but it's so poorly run. The terrace we specifically requested was closed, even though the weather was splendid… “We're not going to set up tables outside because everyone will want to go there,” we were told… well, yes… that's just doing their job… Nothing good happened, so we turned on our heels. It's a shame.

12/06/2026: Extremely disappointing two weeks in a row. Last week, we were very disappointed by the quality of the food: cold ribeye steak and corked wine. We had come to enjoy the garden, but the weather wasn't cooperating. I asked if the garden would be open the following week if the weather permitted, and I was told yes. So we returned this evening, in 24-degree weather. They refused to seat us outside. The waiter's response: we can't reset the tables! Zero flexibility. He offered no solution. Again, the weather was magnificent, so there was absolutely no reason to have set up inside. "We can't risk everyone wanting to be in the garden." But the reason customers come to your restaurant, sir, is precisely for your garden! It's certainly not for the quality of the food or the service! A neighbor and regular customer lost.

04/03/2026: Thank you for the warm welcome and prompt service. We shared the raclette for two. Very good. A minor point about the charcuterie 😉 Perhaps the selection could be rebalanced. - less potato - less cheese 🧀 - more charcuterie Also, a wider selection of white wine by the glass would be appreciated. We had a very pleasant time.

01/03/2026: Avoid this place at all costs. An absolute mis steak. Six of us went in for a steak dinner and, in the spirit of unity, all ordered the same cut. Sensible, we thought. What arrived at the table looked less like six identical meals and more like a butcher’s lucky dip. Each one cooked differently. Not artistically differently. Accidentally differently. As for texture, I have known ski boots with a gentler bite. One of them could have patched a puncture. Another required the jaw strength of a dockworker. Not one of them was what you would call enjoyable. We mentioned, politely, that the steaks were not exactly edible. The floor manager reacted as if we had insulted the entire farming industry. Instead of a simple apology, we got the full routine. Defensive. Dismissive. Slightly theatrical. What followed felt less like customer service and more like a negotiation with a Venetian bead merchant who’s spotted a tourist. Lots of talking. Lots of shrugging. A bit of “this is how it’s meant to be”. You could almost see the script being flicked through in his head. After far more back and forth than a steak dinner deserves, we managed to get two refunded. Two out of six. The rest, apparently, were fine in their eyes. Funny that. By then we were bored of it. Left hungry, slightly stitched up, and wondering how a restaurant manages to get steak that wrong. The only saving grace is that this was the one and only bad meal we had in Morzine. Everywhere else was excellent. So enjoy the town there’s plenty of good choices . Give this place a wide berth unless you fancy a chewing marathon.. 1 ⭐️ Finishing on a positive- I do have to give our server a mention .. he was very kind and great fun before the show began.

18/05/2026: Unfortunately, I had a bad experience at the restaurant. The restaurant does have halal chicken, which is good for Muslims. However, the Caesar salad was presented in an unusual way, but it was poorly made and cut, and it contained eggs that should be removed when ordering. The Napoli Margherita Extra pizza was uneven; as soon as you held a slice, everything fell off. The taste was very average. The truffle spaghetti was acceptable in taste and was the best thing we ordered. The prices are extremely high. I've eaten at more luxurious and better restaurants, and the bill never reached this price.

10/09/2025: Very pleasant setting, we ordered a charcuterie board, very generous and more than enough for four people. We then ordered a piece from the butcher. The cooking is excellent, the meat melts in the mouth, the price is very reasonable, and all local products are delicious! I encourage you to share this culinary experience in this superb little place! The exemplary service is very pleasant, nothing to complain about.

01/03/2026: Great hotel! It was really pleasant to stay here for a short weekend. The hotel is well located in relation to the city center and close to the train station. We came with our bikes, and it wasn't a problem at all! We received a warm welcome! The staff were kind and friendly. A special mention for Elodie, who is very friendly! The breakfast buffet is excellent, with very good local products. A water fountain is available, which is a nice touch. You can fill your own water pitcher (don't forget!) and your water bottle—very convenient. We highly recommend it!
