06/09/2026: I eagerly anticipate my trip to Jonzac, solely to visit this pastry shop. The pleasure of seeing the pastries precedes the pleasure of tasting them. Everything is delicious, and reasonably priced. The staff are incredibly attentive and always smiling, even when it's busy. It's always a very pleasant visit.

27/10/2026: Great restaurant! The atmosphere is very welcoming. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. Extras are available for each dish (stracciatella, bacon, etc.). The tiramisu was delicious.

27/10/2026: The pizzas are good. However, the carbonara is inedible, so salty! The dish was taken away almost untouched, and the restaurant didn't even offer any compensation... Once is enough.

02/06/2026: Negative: A small refrigerator is missing from the room, and the bathroom door needs improvement in terms of privacy (you can hear everything). Positive: The staff is lovely, especially Benjamin, who is fantastic. The breakfast is incredible. The hotel's location is perfect. The pool is a huge bonus. We will be back very soon.

30/08/2026: I had high expectations for the seafood here, but the oysters tasted bitter and were disappointing in terms of freshness. The grilled oysters were slightly better, and the service was okay, but overall the experience was just average and didn't meet my expectations.

14/08/2026: This little bistro near the Moulin Rouge was a real surprise. Super welcoming atmosphere, top-notch staff, and amazing food at a fair price. I had the duck and it was delicious, my companion had the beef bourguignon and it was perfect!

13/08/2026: The price isn't excessive for the location. The service was adequate. However, the food is rather average. Unfortunately, we're finding fewer and fewer flavors in our bistros. Everything is standardized; the steak tartare wasn't homemade, which is a shame.

24/10/2026: Hello, we had lunch on October 23rd, 2026. The €29 set menu was of very high quality, both in terms of flavor and presentation. The chef and owner of this establishment truly demonstrates their talent. The service was impeccable (with a special mention for the young employee who was very enthusiastic about her job). In conclusion, we highly recommend this fantastic restaurant where we had a wonderful time without breaking the bank. +++++

21/09/2026: I will comment in English as I am a Welshman living in Creuse. I can't believe it took me 12 years to this place after being here for so many summers. The best Sunday lunch I've enjoyed for a long time. The panoramic windows, looking down on the old Eiffel style railway viaduct are enough to whet your appetite. The table service is fast and efficient, the menu is very comprehensive as is the wine list. I ordered a three course with a demi pitcher of rouge. First course arrived with the wine. Was truly a work of art (an Instragammers dream) full of taste and colour. Next the main course, perfectly cooked faux fillet with a sauce so rich and flavours I have never before encountered. So filling that I declined the dessert course and settled back with a double espresso. Warning- make sure you book for a Sunday as all the other diners were decidedly local.
