02/09/2026: Golden Pizza Les Lilas! I ate at Golden Pizza today and it was absolutely delicious! The ingredients are fresh, the pizza was excellent, and the quality is definitely there. Whether for lunch or dinner, it's a great place to eat. The dining area is beautiful, warm, and intimate, and the whole team is incredibly attentive to the customers. It's a real pleasure! Whether you eat in or take away, I highly recommend it. Special mention also goes to their pizza catering service for events: it looks fantastic! That's definitely my next step; I plan to use them for my future events. And as for the prices, nothing excessive, quite the opposite: it's actually quite affordable considering the quality and the products they offer. A place I recommend without hesitation! It's a 5-star experience without a doubt.

05/10/2026: An excellent restaurant in Murat-le-Quaire! Le Relais de la Toinette is the kind of restaurant you love to find in the Auvergne region: warm, friendly, authentic, and generous. The cuisine perfectly showcases local flavors, with delicious, well-prepared, and generously portioned dishes. It has everything you look for when visiting the Sancy Massif: honest, comforting food, without unnecessary frills, where the pleasure and quality of the ingredients are paramount. The restaurant's atmosphere is also very pleasant, with a friendly, mountain feel that perfectly suits Murat-le-Quaire. You immediately feel at home, and it's the kind of place you love to return to with family or friends after a day of hiking or skiing. A special mention goes to the welcome and service: smiling, friendly, and attentive, with a simplicity and conviviality that makes all the difference. For us, who regularly visit Murat-le-Quaire, this is a place we particularly appreciate and readily recommend to our friends and family, as well as to anyone wishing to discover the region. 13/09/2026: We arrived on a Sunday, after the restaurant had closed, having called at the last minute to see if they could still accommodate us… And there he was, offering us, just for us, a shredded duck salad with roasted potatoes. And as if that weren't enough… a pan-fried porcini mushroom dish prepared just for us. Absolutely wonderful! But beyond the food, it was a truly special encounter: a man from the Auvergne region with character, generous and authentic, just like his cuisine. There are days like that when you walk through a door almost by chance… and have an extraordinary encounter. ❤️

04/08/2026: Only one checkout was open at 2 PM today, and 20 shopping carts were waiting.

04/08/2026: Appalling long wait for cashier. Only 2 tills open at 13.50hrs on a Tuesday. There were at least 5 or 6 people waiting at each till, most with trolleys full. No attempt made by staff to open any additional tills. They can spend money on increasing the size of the car park but not staff to provide to work on the cash desks. Supervisor walked around no apology. Just seen the prompt reply from Leclerc. I can assure you there were only ever two cash till open plus the self service. Our cashier swapped over whilst we were waiting in the queue, so could their data be misinterpreted and showed that two cash desks were open when there was in reality only one.

08/05/2026: A very pleasant stay at Camping du Bois de Valmarie. A good campsite, the mobile home was clean and well-equipped. Perhaps a small television would have been a welcome addition, even just to watch the news, for example. We were a little disappointed with the jacuzzi area, which was too cold for our liking. Initially reserved for adults (18+), the pool was repeatedly filled with children (with their parents in the sun loungers...). Why not implement supervision, if it isn't already in place? On the plus side, the mini-market isn't too expensive for basic camping supplies, and the site is well-located. Bicycles, a griddle, and paddleboards are available for rent.

10/07/2026: Found it quite unexpectedly, arriving after the midday serving had been completed, but we were welcomed in and helped ourselves to a delicious range of cold foods prepared as accompaniments to the main courses. They were fantastic, tasty and so healthy too. Highly recommend.

We had to ask three times for a second aperitif before it finally arrived. This lack of attention persisted throughout the entire meal. My husband only eats fish and doesn't drink alcohol. During a phone call, I had specifically asked if they offered fish, and I was assured they had a non-alcoholic fish dish. Upon seeing the menu, we discovered that the only fish dish on the menu was prepared with alcohol… We then suggested a simple solution: to change a fish-based appetizer to a main course, while paying an extra charge. A perfectly reasonable request, but one that seemed to cause a real headache. Fortunately, the youngest waitress, who was friendly and professional, eventually found a solution, as initially, everything seemed impossible to the rest of the staff. When my husband's dish arrived, I simply asked for an extra order of fries. Another waitress, particularly cold, looked me straight in the eye… without even responding. As a result, we're still waiting for our fries! And let's talk about the main course: €24 for two slices of smoked salmon and eight asparagus spears, without the fries we ordered. I understand that the price goes up, but at that price, you'd expect a more generous portion and a minimum of attention to the customer. I don't understand where the sense of service and business has gone. We weren't asking for the impossible: adapting an appetizer into a main course and serving a portion of fries. What's so insurmountable about that? Between the lack of flexibility, the interminable wait, the ignored requests, and a very disappointing price-quality ratio, this experience was a real letdown. 13/09/2026: Avoid this place! We stopped by at 10:15 PM hoping to order desserts and drinks. Despite the restaurant having plenty of empty tables at that late hour, the staff flatly refused to seat us unless we ordered full main courses—which we had already eaten elsewhere. Turning away customers willing to spend €50+ on desserts and drinks when the dining room is half-empty makes zero financial or customer-service sense. Truly disappointing hospitality; go somewhere that actually values its guests.

27/08/2026: Very disappointed. I ordered an espresso Martini and it was very poorly made, served in the wrong glass, the proportions were off, the presentation was terrible, and it was awful. Disappointed... I would have preferred to have been told that this cocktail couldn't be served at this time of day. (In the photo, I've already drunk a little from the glass, but anyway, it was only half full ☹️) For the price of the cocktail, frankly...

05/08/2026: A large open-air terrace in the heart of the countryside in summer—the perfect setting for lunch with your dog. Except here, they refuse entry even to a dachshund, a tiny dog ​​that fits under a chair. No health and safety logic applies to an outdoor terrace: it's simply a complete lack of common sense and hospitality. If the "fresh air" concept stops at the door for our canine companions, they should just say so before making the trip. Frankly disappointing for an establishment that boasts a rural setting.

We eat at this restaurant almost every summer and we always have a wonderful meal. The ingredients are fresh, the portions are generous, and we always receive excellent advice. It's a real pleasure every time we visit. The service is also top-notch: the owner or manager is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, as is the rest of the team. We feel truly valued, and that's rare enough to be worth mentioning! I find it a real shame that this establishment isn't rated as highly as it deserves, because we've never been disappointed. On the contrary, we happily return every year. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant without hesitation! A fantastic place where you can enjoy delicious food and a warm welcome. We will continue to return with great pleasure! 😊

03/06/2026: Excellent restaurant in the evening. Buffet breakfast in the morning. Even a swimming pool. Clean and very quiet rooms. This is our third visit (2024, 2025, 2026), and the quality remains consistent!
