16/05/2026: Excellent hotel with a spectacular restaurant. The food was exquisite and the service incredible. Our waitress served us with great kindness and professionalism. I would definitely return to the restaurant on my next visit to Najac.

16/05/2026: My rating is a combination of our stay in the hotel which I’d rate 5 stars and dinner in their restaurant at 3 stars. We had a lovely room with balcony overlooking the valley. Our hostess was so welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. Ideas for walks; drinks on the terrace. The room itself is comfortable with a good bed. Our dinner was disappointing. My beef was just OK. Some of it was so sinewy I couldn’t cut or chew it. My wife’s local special of the rolled pork was awful. She said it tasted like cardboard it was so dry. The service was excellent and the outlook of the restaurant is lovely. Perhaps we just got unlucky 🧐

26/09/2026: We came for afternoon tea and stayed until closing time. We paid the bill, and faced with the beautiful and delicious pastries, we decided to take some to go. This didn't sit well with the young waitress, who made no secret of it. Rushed and annoyed at having to take out the packaging, she whisked the desserts away. I had the chance to see her working on the terrace; she was remarkable for the long wait... and the same pattern in the way she treated her customers. Fortunately, the food was good.

11/10/2026: €4.50 for a glass of generic sparkling water filled with a hose, unacceptable! Pure robbery! Cash only, as they don't accept credit cards for amounts under €10.

01/10/2026: A little discovery during my visit to Paris, and I'm really not disappointed!

13/09/2026: Absolutely terrible. The welcome was very cold, the waiter was really unfriendly. We ordered something before leaving, and in the end… it never arrived. We had to leave without receiving it. In short, a rather disappointing experience, I don't recommend it. We asked for a bowl for the dog, and the response was to go get it ourselves. Great.

10/09/2026: Terrible welcome. We simply acknowledged our presence to the waiter by raising our hands once, and when he came over, we were met with a curt, "The more you wave, the less likely we are to come." Given this sour comment, we left and went to another bar. I do not recommend it.

16/09/2026: Stopped here today for a crêpe and a fresh fruit juice during a visit to Aubenas. Very nice little place and terrace, and friendly ladies serving. The crêpes and juice were also very tasty.

21/09/2026: Don't order from Deliveroo, they only give you tasteless, sugar-free tea, it's disappointing. If you use Deliveroo, please respect your customers who order from them too.

07/10/2026: This is certainly not a burger place but the Burger Alsaceian is amazing. The only way to eat it is with a knife and fork.

24/09/2026: Unfortunately, it was a somewhat mixed experience. The setting is very pleasant, especially the terrace in the Aligre district, and the service is friendly and attentive. However, I was less impressed by the food. The green curry with tofu lacked a bit of flavor, and the portions, particularly the amount of rice, seemed rather small. The Thai flan didn't particularly win me over either. It's a shame!

25/07/2026: I'm quite disappointed with the organic Uji matcha tea I paid €32 for 50g. While it's certainly better than many others I've bought in other shops and online, it doesn't have the same quality as the one I bought in Japan. Given the price, I expected better quality and a more refined taste.

21/10/2026: Excellent service, friendly and welcoming, and pet-friendly too! The daily specials and set menus are very well done. However, as soon as you order à la carte, the dishes are far too expensive for the expected quality, which brings the bill down considerably. It's a real shame! If the à la carte dishes were better executed, this place would be almost a must-visit!

08/10/2026: This place was excellent a while back, but unfortunately, the standard has dropped considerably; it's now bordering on the undignified. Avoid it if you're looking for a good restaurant. Thankfully, the service is friendly, if sometimes a little amateurish. While it may not be good, the place has the merit of being open.

29/09/2026: The bar was closed for a few weeks. A shame, as it would have been lovely to enjoy the terrace on such a beautiful day.

08/09/2026: Nice place because of its location, friendly and welcoming staff, but the service is far too slow! And the worst part is the prices!! Wow, crazy! Over €30 for a sole?! €20 for a hamburger, €13 for dessert, and €50 for a decent wine!! The rib-eye steak was loaded with fat, practically nothing to eat! Seriously, who do they think they are?! We're in the countryside, it's insane to charge prices like that! Elsewhere you can eat much more generous portions, and especially for less! Frankly, it's as expensive as the top Parisian restaurants, and not even for the same dishes. They should think about simplifying their pricing to match the image of the place.
