05/09/2026: This place has a cozy atmosphere, like a neighborhood bar frequented by locals. The owner and staff are mostly friendly, and the drink selection is wide and reasonably priced. However, the service is inconsistent; occasionally you might encounter rude staff or poor-quality drinks.

18/06/2026: I have very mixed feelings about our visit to your establishment. - The food: perfect, very good dishes, creative, interesting flavors. Bravo to the Chef! - The service and atmosphere: very disappointed. The service was not up to standard at all. We were seated on the terrace at tiny bar tables with uncomfortable chairs. We waited a long time for the menus. The dishes arrived, and the cutlery was only brought to us afterward, held in our hands instead of placed on a plate on a shelf. The bottle arrived at the table already opened when it should have been uncorked in front of us. We were there to celebrate our son's 25th birthday, and we would have liked a nice table, even indoors, but with a pleasant setting. As it was, we felt very uncomfortable. We were offered a glass of champagne (or sparkling wine?) because it was my son's birthday, for which we were grateful. For me, going to a restaurant is a complete experience: good food in a pleasant setting with attentive service. Here, only one out of three things was great. A shame.

06/04/2026: We're from Seville, and we had the pleasure of having lunch at this restaurant. We highly recommend it, for the service, the friendliness of the staff, the atmosphere, and of course, the food. It's a place we'll definitely return to if we go back to Brive-la-Gaillarde.

21/07/2026: Always a pleasure to see Gilles, Valérie, and the little one. A warm welcome, big smiles, and a lively atmosphere. The food is delicious, from the roasted Camembert and fries to everything else. There's a lot of joking, a lot of loud talking, a real sense of life. 13/09/2026: My first experience at Haras de la Cense this weekend, an exceptional estate dedicated to gentle horsemanship and respect for the horse. It was an equestrian discovery, but also a human and personal one, that happily changed my perspective on the world of horses. A huge thank you to coach Leelou, a graduate of La Cense, whom I highly recommend for the quality of her teaching and her wonderful energy. Thank you also to Bless You for her patience and kindness at the end of my lunge line ❤️

16/08/2026: Experienced riders, look elsewhere! We booked a ride advertised as "for experienced riders, comfortable at all three gaits," in the beautiful Rambouillet forest. However, there was no ride at all three gaits. It was a walk, with a few strides of trot. As for the forest tour? Yes... if only the lungeing counts. We mentioned this to our guide. Her response: they haven't changed the site since they decided to stop cantering... This is not representative of the stud farm's reputation. The two parts are clearly separated: the rides are at the barn for tourists, and the stud farm is reserved for those in training. But beware!! If your horse is too difficult, it will be refused and set aside, and you will then train on their horses that are already fully trained. We, who were so enthusiastic about discovering this pillar of more respectful horsemanship, were more than disappointed…

25/06/2026: Regarding an Uber Eats order, the chicken was missing from a wrap and the salmon from a bagel. I tried contacting you by phone; the first time, the phone was hung up on me, and the second time, the line was answered, but no one was there. I absolutely do not recommend this company.

01/09/2026: The service is deeply disappointing. The employee at the counter was incredibly rude and called me a racist when I asked him to repeat the menu. He threw the cutlery and drinks onto the table right in front of me, almost hitting me. The entire establishment was shocked upon witnessing this scene. We got up and left. Never coming here again!

02/10/2026: A very pleasant first experience. I stopped by in the morning to pick up a croissant. They gave me two, as the size was small. The croissant was very crispy with a delicious buttery flavor. It was all the more enjoyable because I only ate it in the late afternoon! The welcome was very cheerful and positive.

21/08/2026: This small crêperie doesn't look like much, but it makes excellent crêpes – inexpensive but delicious.

18/08/2026: Friendly welcome, cold drinks. Just surprised to see the woman (probably the owner since she took the payment) picking up customers' cigarette butts left on the ground and throwing them down the drain. Thanks for the water bowl for the dog.

16/08/2026: A very warm welcome, excellent beer, and very good cheese. A small bar/restaurant away from the crowds, very calm and relaxing. A great little spot.
