05/10/2026: We just opened our bags for lunch on the train after getting our sandwiches, etc., at 10:00 this morning, and the two chocolate muffins we paid €7.30 for weren't in the bag. I hope to get a refund when we get back from our holiday. We went back months later and they gave us the missing muffins—so kind! :)

22/10/2026: I knew this place was awful, but I wanted to try it one last time, and never again. It took 35 minutes to get a meal, the staff were completely overwhelmed and incompetent, and one guy even got three ice creams with the same receipt without her noticing... no order, no professionalism. People were canceling their orders without getting them because it was taking so long, and to top it off, they were handing out unheated burgers to the new customers. Goodbye forever.

06/07/2026: Very disappointed. At first glance, it was nice. The setting was pleasant, the decor was nice. However, when you get to the room, what a letdown! The room was small, the shower room tiny, the toilet access uncomfortable, the tap wobbly (between us, what a disgrace, you should be reimbursed for the installation), the mattress needs replacing, and the cleaning was questionable. There were large clumps of hair on the floor (and no, it wasn't mine, I'm blonde with short hair, it was long, straight black hair). Breakfast could be much better; was it bread from Lidl? It looked like it. In short, I won't be going back anytime soon.

16/04/2026: Weeknight dinner at this restaurant with the family. We were all delighted with the meal, the welcome, and the service. We highly recommend this place.

08/05/2026: It's impossible to give Le Petit Chinon less than 5 stars, the experience was so incredible! From the moment you walk through the door, you feel a warm, friendly, and cheerful atmosphere, the kind you rarely find in Paris. You feel like you're walking into a friend's house rather than just a bar. The servers are absolutely top-notch: smiling, quick, attentive, always a kind word, and radiating positive energy. But the true heart of the place is undoubtedly the owner, Feriel. With her exceptional kindness and welcoming nature, she manages to create a unique atmosphere where everyone immediately feels at ease. You can see that she puts her whole heart into this place, and it makes all the difference. Between the laughter, the festive atmosphere, the great drinks, and the impeccable service, this bar has become one of my favorite spots in Paris. Honestly, if you're looking for a lively, friendly, and authentic place, go for it without hesitation. A real gem ❤️

03/10/2026: 5 stars for the view and service. The risotto was undercooked. The spaghetti vongole was so-so, not the real recipe. The fries were frozen. Everything was edible, but cold and bland, which is a shame for a place like Barriere.
