02/09/2026: Overall, everything looked appealing. The pastries were very good, the crumble too, but the chocolate fondant was just okay.

29/08/2026: We had breakfast here 3 out of 4 times during our short break. The pastries were delicious, the atmosphere I'd describe as typically French: being on the street, it's noisy. The interior is rather functional. The owner – I assume – was also there once and served us very kindly, in multiple languages, and attentively. This doesn't match what you read here. I would definitely go back :)!

27/09/2026: Having lived in Lyon two or three years ago, this was, for me, the best kebab in Lyon. Yesterday, passing through Lyon, I was very disappointed. The spit-roasted chicken has completely changed; it's dry, overcooked, and the sauce is just poured at the bottom of the kebab. The sauces and fries are still good, but the meat has become a disaster.

12/10/2026: Correction: I can no longer leave my previous positive review. The young waitress throws the cutlery on the table, she takes your plate away while you're still chewing or mopping up your sauce... she barks instructions like a basketball player, it's a complete racket. Regarding the food, it's good, certainly, however the lasagna is lacking in filling, the carbonara is loaded with fatty bacon, the mussels are rubbery and cooked in snail butter... and not "Provençal butter"... The fries are quite greasy but good (that's the point). PLEASE NOTE this is my opinion and not a judgment, obviously :) I personally won't be going back. Until next time...

01/09/2026: A mixed experience despite several very good points. The restaurant boasts a superb location, a pleasant welcome, and a warm atmosphere. As for the food, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves: the homemade terrine was perfect, while the truffle-infused Reblochon cheese crust was generous and flavorful. The monkfish was also very well prepared. All of this was accompanied by an excellent Chablis, chosen from a particularly appealing wine list. However, several things seriously marred the experience. We were served a bottle of Acqua Panna which, in reality, contained tap water. We only discovered this after the couple seated next to us pointed it out to the manager. He then explained that the waiter hadn't been informed of the stock shortage, a rather surprising justification for an establishment supposedly in control of its inventory and what is served to its customers. After also pointing this out, we ordered a San Pellegrino instead. The couple at the next table received complimentary glasses of wine and desserts as compensation, while we received no such gesture, even though we had experienced the exact same problem. This difference in treatment is difficult to understand. Finally, the dessert was very disappointing: the cream puffs were burnt and practically tasteless. The frozen steak served to our daughter was also of poor quality; a proper butcher-style ground beef patty would have been much more appropriate and consistent with the restaurant's expected standard. In short: a beautiful setting, a pleasant atmosphere, an attractive wine list, and truly excellent main courses, but a serious lack of attention to detail in the service and a disappointing end to the meal. A mixed experience, which could easily have been excellent with greater professionalism and consistency.

18/10/2026: Terrible service. We didn't even have time to finish our aperitif before the main courses were served. The prices were exorbitant; €29 for a piece of beef, fries, and salad, and €2 for a coffee. Really too expensive! The staff was cold, and there were too many people for such a small restaurant. The music was very loud.

13/09/2026: A very bad experience. I stopped at this establishment only because I had an emergency and politely asked if it was possible to use the restroom. The waitress, a blonde woman, replied in a very curt and condescending manner: "Well, you have to buy something." I can perfectly understand that an establishment reserves its restrooms for its customers, but there's a way to speak to people, especially when someone explains they're in an urgent situation. A little respect and consideration would have been appreciated. I left particularly shocked by her attitude and the way she spoke down to me. I hadn't been to this establishment before this incident, and clearly, this behavior will make me have no desire to order anything there or return. One thing is certain: the service is just as important as what's on the plate or in the glass.

13/09/2026: The service is deplorable, and the welcome very disappointing. And it's not the first time I've been here...and it's never changed. So let me leave a message...We were about to finish our drinks when the waitress (who wasn't smiling and was already unfriendly when we arrived) asked us to leave in a very inappropriate manner: "You have to leave now!" Of course, without her usual smile (she seems to have lost it along the way) or any polite formalities. Why? End of the day? Didn't she like the look of me? Does she not like her job? In short, the Toulouse hospitality is far from up to par in this brasserie.

27/09/2026: A place I recommend for its simplicity and welcoming atmosphere. While this establishment remains basic in what it offers, it is nonetheless pleasant and well-located. Generally, it's moderately noisy and frequented by a good crowd!

01/10/2026: Today and almost every other day we came to this restaurant with my mother for lunch. Literally inside of the restaurant was empty and I asked him ( Florian) if we can sit the table for 4 people. He said no you can’t sit it’s only for 4 ppl and I said yesterday when we came here there was two people and he said “ oh it wasn’t me I put them there” . I said okay and we sat outside table for 2 and we finished our lunch and we paid our bill. At that moment , I saw one couple they sat down on the table that for 4 people. I called the manager I said why your waiter put us into this table instead of that table. Because I know “ if it’s rule “ it should be rule to everyone! And I said could you call your Florian because I want to ask why he did this. As soon as he came he started to yell at me , instead of apologizing from us. This man shouldn’t work in that restaurant otherwise you will lose your loyal customers especially in winter ! I’m not tourist here and I live here. This man has no manner and very very rude to women!!!!
