20/09/2026: A huge disappointment. The restaurant has changed in just a few months, and not for the better. There's very little choice, the food selection is limited, and they seem to be cutting corners on ingredients. I felt almost embarrassed to serve myself from their plates, which are smaller than they were a year ago, so you can't really load up. Also, the waiter who greeted us was rather unpleasant and didn't smile. In short, I won't be going back.

15/04/2026: We chose a 4-star hotel hoping for a good night's sleep. But here, it's impossible to sleep with the room at 27-28 degrees Celsius. The air conditioning doesn't work in April, or at least the manager refuses to turn it on (it's a centralized system), and it's impossible to sleep with the window open because the highway is right next door. In short, two horrible nights and unhelpful staff. We had a child with us who didn't sleep at all, and it completely ruined his visit to Futuroscope. I only gave it two stars because the breakfast was good. Avoid this hotel!

13/04/2026: I am very disappointed with this hotel. It's not a 4-star hotel! No toiletries in the bathroom (makeup remover pads, cotton swabs, etc.). The cup was a cardboard one (a glass one would be better). The carpet was in poor condition. And the restaurant is awful!!! What does 4 stars even mean? When you stay in this type of hotel, you expect good service. What a shame!

01/09/2026: A very charming hotel with lovely, very clean and comfortable rooms, and above all, a restaurant with delicious dishes. I enjoyed a lamb tagine from the Diois region, as well as lemon ravioli, and of course, let's not forget the desserts: the walnut tart and the homemade nougat glacé—a real treat! I'll be back, hoping to try the chocolate fondant next time! In addition, the medieval village of Châtillon is a designated botanical village, and you can easily take walks along the river or explore the surrounding forest with its waterfall. I should add that having lunch or dinner on the terrace while listening to the fountain is truly delightful!

27/09/2026: Very disappointed by this experience. We ordered two glasses, which were served in very small quantities, and ended up paying €36, or €18 per glass. We asked to see the menu to check the prices, but we weren't given a proper menu: we were simply shown a slip of paper, without being able to properly review the prices and sizes before ordering. At €18 a glass, one would expect a decent portion size and, above all, clear information about the prices before ordering. We really felt we paid a completely disproportionate price for what we were served. €36 for two such meager glasses: a very bad experience. We won't be back.

18/09/2026: Disappointed by the drop in quality – It's not what it used to be. Last year, when I came here, it was simply the best KFC I'd ever had: very delicious, very fresh, and excellent quality. Unfortunately, when I returned in July of this year, the experience was very disappointing. The chicken tenders were only a third of the usual size. Since they were cold and clearly insufficient, I asked a staff member to exchange them, but he told me it wasn't possible and that it was the normal portion size. I wanted to give the restaurant a second chance and went back recently. This time again, the tenders were extremely small and very thin (I'm almost certain they were just thinly sliced ​​chicken fillets instead of actual tenders). Furthermore, the hot wings were really tiny, and one of them was literally just a bone. When I asked at reception to replace them, I was again told it wasn't possible and that the quantity was fine. I've included the photos so you can judge for yourselves. I no longer think this is a suitable place to eat.

16/09/2026: At the end of my meal, an employee came to my table and asked me to leave a positive review in exchange for a free ice cream. I left the review, but he never came. It doesn't really matter to me because I still enjoyed my meal, but I'm disappointed by this little attempt at blackmail.

03/10/2026: We didn't have the chance to try the food and drinks on offer; the waiters didn't bother to pay any attention to us, clear the table, or even bring us a menu while we waited: three waiters for a terrace with 10 tables that was only half full… would a smile and a hello be too much to ask? Very disappointed!

14/10/2026: A delicious and generous meal in a lovely setting. The menu caters to almost everyone, including a vegetarian option, which is rare in Mâcon. I highly recommend the soft-boiled eggs! The soft lighting is very pleasant in the evening! And the service was impeccable. Excellent, thank you!

21/05/2026: We've stayed at this hotel before and have always been delighted. However, our last stay was a real disappointment. The room was nowhere near what you'd expect from a 4-star hotel: mold and dust around the window, faded paint, and stains on the floor. On the other hand, the staff were excellent, as were the restaurant and service. And a big thank you to the masseuse who was perfect.

The only problem is: having tasted all the intermediate steps… waiting until this evening for the final tasting of the creations I brought home is torture 🤷‍♂️😂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂😋😋😋😋. Thank you for sharing all your knowledge with us.

13/10/2026: My partner and I have tried quite a few all-you-can-eat buffets in the area. Personally, I find the quality satisfactory, even a little better than others. Neither exceptional nor mediocre. But what makes me return to this one and not another all-you-can-eat buffet is the place itself, which remains a manageable size, with a calm and subdued atmosphere that makes all the difference. The staff is very attentive, and it's pleasant not to feel like you're dining in a factory. I recommend it because it's good value for money (€18.99 in the evening).
