19/04/2026: A must for a fantastic time. A dining room or terrace with a breathtaking view, yes indeed, and a truly authentic face in front of the oven: Maryse, who's been there since…ooh! The pizzas are sensational with a perfectly crispy crust, but don't forget (like we did today) the amazing lasagna. And then there's the famous blueberry tart…when they have them, because Maryse refuses to buy them. They make the pastry soggy. Or, failing that, her lemon tart. Should you ask if everything is homemade? If I were you, I'd avoid asking 😡 In short, a great time in an exceptional setting that's well worth the effort.

28/02/2026: Pizza + Fondue: The Ultimate Combo For 45 years, Maryse has been delighting Notre-Dame-de-Bellecombe with her wood-fired pizzas at her restaurant in Lachat. It's a sure bet; you're guaranteed a great evening. Special mention goes to the Neapolitan calzone (which you can order open-faced), both spicy and creamy thanks to the combination of hot sausage and ricotta. You can also enjoy delicious Savoyard fondues, plain or with porcini mushrooms. There are also other more elaborate or slow-cooked dishes, such as beef cheek, which we didn't try. The wine list is fairly short and reasonably priced. I finished my son's fondue with the crusts of my pizza—what more could you ask for?! The service was welcoming and efficient!

29/07/2026: The worst McDonald's in the world. It's expensive. Full of flies. And my Coke was a mix of Oasis and Coke... rubbish.

27/07/2026: Fantastic fondue, finally a proper beef bourguignon and onion soup worthy of the name. I highly recommend it.

04/08/2026: The best crêperie in the area! We've been coming here for many years and have never been disappointed. The crêpes are excellent and reasonably priced.

06/04/2026: Nice place, but disappointing service. There was an outdoor table available, but I had to find chairs myself. No one to serve me; I had to go to the bar to get a drink... 🤔 What a shame.

04/07/2026: A two-hour wait for pizza delivery is understandable given the high demand and match night, but it would be better to aim for delivery in under an hour. The pizza was very good, but it would be better with a proper crust. The pizza I received had crusts but no dough underneath, so all the toppings stuck to the cardboard. A shame.

28/06/2026: Very disappointed! The delivery driver arrived with a card reader that didn't work, he only left one pizza for 5 people who had paid in cash, and refused to leave the others, preferring to leave with the other 4 and come back later, even though we had a 30-minute break to eat. He offered no alternative solution and preferred to come back later with pizzas that were probably cold!

07/04/2026: It was a must-see in town because of the history of the place, especially if you've seen the series "Band of Brothers." The service was excellent; we were attended to immediately. The atmosphere was interesting; several people were watching a horse race with great enthusiasm. It's a shame that there's hardly any information about the history of the place in the shop. I think they should promote it more; all I saw were lottery tickets and various flags from different countries, seemingly out of place. I hope they change that.

09/03/2026: I organized my leaving party there on the first floor. It was great! Everyone was very accommodating and friendly!

05/05/2026: I rarely leave Google reviews, but the poor quality of this pastry shop compels me to do so. I have rarely tasted such bad pastries. I usually go to Tourbez in Gouvieux, but unfortunately, they are closed on Tuesdays. So, I opted for this highly-rated pastry shop in Chantilly. I bought Paris-Brest pastries, a crème brûlée, a chocolate éclair, a red fruit tiramisu, a rum baba, and some financiers. Basically, everything ended up in the bin! The crème brûlée had a lumpy texture and, of course, no vanilla flavor whatsoever. The choux pastry of the Paris-Brest and the rum baba were practically cardboard-like. The tiramisu was far too sweet, with a biscuit base that resembled sponge cake crumbs; it was detestable. The chocolate éclair was overly sweet and cloying. As for the financiers, they were vomit-inducing—a lump of sugar with no almond flavor. After the first bite, only a greasy sensation remained in the mouth! I don't understand why this pastry shop is still open… maybe for its bread? Stéphane Aubert, a customer who won't be repeating the Pascal Nopé experience.

21/06/2026: On a sweltering Sunday, pushed to our limits in search of a veggie sandwich, we suffered many disappointments before stumbling upon this oasis, which, not only did it offer several choices, but presented them to us with a smile! The staff were extremely helpful, thank you to them.

08/05/2026: A short impromptu break on a pleasant terrace. The waiter recommended a little white wine (it's aperitif time!). We were right to listen to their advice! Our glasses were served with a smile.... A great place where we'll be stopping again.... the wine is good and the service is impeccable!

08/04/2026: As a big fan of neighborhood restaurants, I find Wok delicious and affordable. Whether alone, with friends, or family, it's always a pleasure. Their takeout is excellent, with generous portions and very fast service. Bravo and thank you to the Wok team!

09/03/2026: From one disaster to another... this restaurant is often booked for private groups (tourists arriving by coach) and there's no prior notice. The staff is very unwelcoming. The dining room is unremarkable. The food is decent for the price. Not worth the detour!

16/07/2026: Nice little restaurant with a sea view. The mussels with Roquefort cheese were good.

10/07/2026: After a long hike on the Customs Officers' Trail, we received a warm welcome and prompt service on a very hot day around midday. We treated ourselves to moules frites and burgers. As always, we also enjoyed cider and plenty of water. The terrace is a lovely place to sit and offers a fantastic sea view. We'll definitely be back!

01/03/2026: The showers and toilets are currently being renovated in containers outside. Only the cafes and the store are open. The lines are huge, but you can safely go there either in the morning or in the evening. 🌙 The renovations are apparently long-term, so keep that in mind when planning your weekend. Everything is working on the other side. If you're staying here, you can cross the bridge before the exit to the parking lot. There are gates everywhere, so you don't have to climb over the fence. Good luck.

24/12/2025: I was just lucky to stop by and park here, and I stayed there from December 24, 2025, to December 26, 2025. The girl at the checkout was great, polite and friendly, and the restrooms and showers were clean, which is why I love France. You can always find a parking spot. I recommend it.
