26/05/2026: If you're looking for a charming spot to enjoy a pleasant meal after a stroll along the coast, L'Escadre is a worthwhile option. The first thing that will captivate you upon entering is undoubtedly its spectacular decor. The ambiance is meticulously curated, creating a welcoming and visually striking space. Adding to this is a major advantage: it's very close to the beach, making it the ideal place to recharge after a day in the sun or a walk on the sand. The restaurant's menu is straightforward, focusing on simple yet effective dishes. Everything we ordered was perfectly cooked; it's clear they have a knack for the kitchen and respect the ingredients. On a purely subjective note, the sauces that accompanied the dishes weren't entirely to my liking, but I understand that this is simply a matter of personal taste and doesn't detract from the quality of the dishes themselves. Another very positive aspect worth highlighting is its affordable price. Finding a place just steps from the beach, with such a beautiful setting and well-prepared food that doesn't break the bank, is always a pleasant surprise. In short, a highly recommended experience. L'Escadre combines a lovely atmosphere, an unbeatable location, and honest food at a good price.

28/05/2026: The room was a bit dated on my first stay, but fantastic on my second. In any case, congratulations to the hotel for the quality of the welcome, the service, and the restaurant. I highly recommend it.

21/05/2026: On our way back from Gironde to Yvelines along the main road, we stopped at this restaurant by chance, one of the very few open on a Monday along that route. We had a very good lunch there, with a starter, a main course, and a coffee for under €20 per person. The dishes were beautifully presented and delicious. The welcome and service, provided by the same person, were very professional and friendly, and the portions were quite generous. Frankly, a great stop, especially on a Monday when many restaurants are closed, not to mention that there are very few along this main road.

23/02/2026: Nice bar/restaurant (daily lunch menu, crêpe snacks, sandwiches). We didn't try the food, but the other customers seemed satisfied. We had drinks; the service was impeccable and quick. The prices were more than reasonable. Plus, there's a lovely terrace in the pedestrian zone.

01/06/2026: I ordered takeout through their website; the advertised wait time was 30 minutes, but I ended up waiting over 50 minutes (the restaurant was empty; it was a Sunday or Monday evening). I live right next door, so I went there as soon as I received the notification, and yet my food was cold. The palak paneer was terrible; it clearly wasn't paneer, but rather a Laughing Cow-type cheese, and the spinach was tasteless. The cheese naan was cold and rubbery, frankly inedible. I absolutely do not recommend it and I will never go back.

16/04/2026: This neighborhood Indian restaurant recently changed owners, and the new ones are lovely. The food is delicious and reasonably priced in a super quiet setting. I'll be back!

02/07/2026: Clearly, the owner decides whether or not to give a table based on who she is. She claimed we hadn't made a reservation (2 adults and 2 children), even though she had tables available. Right behind us, other people were seated without a reservation. Not a pleasant welcome.

30/06/2026: A deplorable experience: disrespectful service and misleading advertising This establishment offered a simply unacceptable experience, both in terms of service and the quality of the food. The menu explicitly states three profiteroles, but you are only served two, hoping that will be enough. Following an ordering error on our part, the staff displayed absolute rigidity, categorically refusing to grill the steak tartare to accommodate us. But the worst part was the waitress's behavior, who was openly mocking and provocative, remarking, "Even carpaccio is raw." Beyond the complete lack of professionalism, her attitude and targeted remarks created a particularly oppressive atmosphere; she clearly doesn't seem to appreciate people of a different skin color. A restaurant lacking flexibility is one thing, but staff displaying contempt and exhibiting racist behavior towards their customers is quite another. This is an establishment to absolutely avoid if you're looking for a peaceful meal and a modicum of respect. Not to mention the inedible, overcooked "fries."

15/04/2026: We had a wonderful experience at this establishment. We went in for coffee, but after looking at the menu, we decided to have lunch. The staff is very welcoming, the food is delicious and plentiful, and the restaurant is very well located, slightly removed from the crowds near the sanctuary, allowing for a more peaceful experience.

05/04/2026: The picture of this glass is on the menu (freshly squeezed orange juice), and yet they serve you a Granini in an Ikea glass. I find that unacceptable.

27/06/2026: The bar is nice in the evening, however, I paid for a drink I never received. The waiter told me I didn't want to pay, even though the payment went through to my account. If you want to be ripped off like that, go somewhere else. Apart from that, the atmosphere in the evening is good…

19/03/2026: The owner was extremely unfriendly, with several problems during the meals and no attempt at making amends. If you order a coffee at the bar, they charge you as if it were served in the dining room.

15/02/2026: My experience at Los Tios was particularly disappointing. The drinks served seemed heavily diluted, which is hard to understand given the prices. At these prices, one expects impeccable quality and a minimum level of professionalism. The welcome was also subpar: the waiter (or owner) was unfriendly and unprofessional. Furthermore, the overall atmosphere was unsettling. Some of the people present, very imposing and with an unfriendly demeanor, gave more of an impression of intimidation than conviviality. It didn't feel relaxed or welcoming, which is essential in this type of establishment. Finally, it would be more appropriate to separate the business activities: advertising a family real estate agency within the bar-restaurant seems inappropriate. This type of information is private and none of the customers' business. Between the questionable value for money and the unwelcoming atmosphere, I do not recommend it.
