05/04/2026: Better to go elsewhere. They cut off the heating during the day using circuit breakers in the reception area. Dirty rooms, filthy carpet, and there aren't enough light bulbs in the bathroom—you can't see anything.

21/09/2026: We were greeted with a smile by the owner when we told her we were there for lunch! We had a plate of zucchini blossom fritters as an appetizer. The service was impeccable and quick! The three-cheese ravioli were delicious, and the pizzas were generous. A restaurant we highly recommend; we will definitely return. The terrace is nicely shaded!

10/09/2026: I sat down with my two children to have something refreshing to drink. After waiting for 10 minutes, some rather rude older lady finally came over and told us to leave because the place was supposedly closed, even though there were plenty of other people still sitting there.

Unfortunately, I had to cancel my reservation due to personal circumstances, and honestly, I didn't expect such consideration. A huge thank you to Brahmi, who took the time to understand the situation and accepted the cancellation despite the commission fees. This kind of human touch is rare these days, so it deserves to be mentioned. Even without being able to stay there, this experience left me with a very positive impression. You can tell there are real people behind it, with respect and professionalism. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment. Thank you again 🙏

18/10/2026: All three of us were disappointed with our Saturday night dinner. Despite the charming Alsatian decor, we waited 23 minutes before our order was even taken. There was only one server, but only 5 of the 16 tables were occupied. No pretzels were offered while we waited. For our starter, we ordered a shrimp cocktail, but to our surprise, it was a shrimp puree cocktail. For our main course, after waiting another 27 minutes, we received a very oily baeckeoffe with a taste nothing like a "real" Alsatian dish, sauerkraut that wasn't crispy and the meat was like rubber, and a pâté en croûte that somewhat redeemed the evening. For dessert, a cheese tart with... caramel. Why?! Another dessert was a Dame Blanche (vanilla ice cream cone). We do not recommend this restaurant.

04/10/2026: We arrived quite late in the evening because we simply couldn't be bothered to cook, and in the end, it was a great find! The prices are very reasonable considering the quality and generous portions. We ordered rice noodle soup with satay and noodle soup with roast duck. Honestly, the roast duck was incredible, absolutely delicious! The portions were very generous; we definitely didn't leave hungry. Special mention also goes to the three-color dessert! It was absolutely delicious, and it's quite rare to find such a good dessert these days. It wasn't too sweet, just right. Another nice touch: everything is provided on the tables (soy sauce, small green chilies, salt, pepper, sugar, hot sauce, etc.), allowing you to season to your liking. The service was quick and efficient, and the dishes were tasty and plentiful. We left with full stomachs and very happy with our discovery! I highly recommend it, we'll gladly return! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

30/09/2026: An extremely unpleasant and disappointing experience. Our order had to be taken twice, and despite a reminder, we waited over 30 minutes. When my dish finally arrived, it wasn't what I had ordered. I had asked for wheat noodles. When I pointed out the mistake and asked for the dish I had ordered, I was told they didn't sell them. Yet, several people at neighboring tables were clearly being served these noodles. I therefore didn't understand this response. Even worse: a waiter made an inappropriate remark about my ethnicity, saying that "I thought I was Chinese." A particularly unwelcome and hurtful comment, especially since I am Eurasian myself. The fact that I don't have what he considered to be Asian appearance obviously doesn't justify this kind of comment. Between the wait, having my order taken twice, the wrong dish, the incoherent explanations, and the comment about my origins, I felt disrespected and treated like an idiot. I can understand an order mistake or a busy service. However, I cannot accept that a customer is treated this way, nor that comments are made about her origins or appearance. An experience I do not wish to repeat.

14/10/2026: Avoid the carbonnade at all costs; for €18.50, it's really not great to serve such poor-quality meat. Otherwise, my partner enjoyed his Welsh rarebit. The desserts were acceptable. The waiters lacked warmth but were polite. We had fond memories of this restaurant a few years ago, but we won't be returning.

11/10/2026: An experience ruined by an unacceptable table location and a particularly inappropriate response! First of all, I want to clarify that the meal was very good and the service was excellent. I have absolutely no complaints about the food or the servers, quite the opposite. And I want to emphasize this because the purpose of this review is certainly not to penalize those who are doing their jobs properly. However, regarding our table location, it was simply shameful! We were seated at a table right next to the men's restroom. Every time the door opened, we had a diagonal view of the urinals, with men visible in profile as they urinated. And as if that weren't enough, foul odors wafted up to our table every time someone passed by. We truly felt like we were eating in a toilet! Despite this particularly unpleasant situation, we bore it throughout the meal out of respect for the staff and other customers. It was only after paying the bill that I decided to point out the problem to the person who was taking our payment, especially since she hadn't even asked us if we had enjoyed our meal. And then, what a surprise to hear this response: "Next time, it's a good idea to make a reservation." Excuse me, but since when do you have to reserve a table to have the right to eat in decent conditions, without having a view of men urinating and without having to endure the smell of the toilets? I simply replied: "Your table shouldn't even exist!" And I stand by that statement completely. This isn't about reservations, but about common sense, respect, and consideration for customers. What's regrettable is that a simple apology and acknowledgment of the problem would have sufficed. Instead, we received a remark that seemed to blame us for the situation. I repeat: the meal was good and the service pleasant. The front-of-house and kitchen staff don't deserve to be penalized for this. But offering a table in such conditions, and then responding in this way to a customer who makes a perfectly legitimate comment, is deeply disappointing. People come to restaurants to enjoy a pleasant meal, not to eat with a view of urinals. I sincerely hope that management will become aware of this situation and reconsider the placement of this table, because no customer should have to endure such an experience.

08/08/2026: Delicious!!! And very healthy food while still enjoying meat without too much fat. I'll be eating Mexican food more often, I highly recommend it!!!

07/10/2026: Despite a few negative reviews, this is a typical restaurant with unbeatable value for money, from the ouzo to the coffee. Makes me want to head south! It wasn't very busy this evening; it's a shame all those people are queuing in the Huchette district all the way to Boulevard Saint Germain for overpriced restaurants (the main course costs the same as the set menu at the Athenian Slouvaki, aperitif included!).

25/09/2026: Terrible service; they practically threw us out after we'd bought something, and with a terrible attitude too. It's a shame because the food itself was acceptable.

03/09/2026: Excellent service, perfect ice cream scoops, and the waffle cone was superb! A must-try for great ice cream. Flavors tried: espresso, salted caramel, mango, and orange blossom poppy seed.

27/08/2026: A slim, blonde waitress with glasses was extremely unpleasant twice on the same day, August 27, 2026 😒 (3 pm and 6 pm). She didn't even greet me and made a cold reprimand because she was the only one working… I still recommend the establishment for its ambiance, as there's a similar restaurant in Orléans, where I've had a pleasant experience on two separate occasions.

26/08/2026: While waiting for a friend to leave from the bus station, we went for a drink. We sat on the terrace and received impeccable service. We were served by a very pleasant young woman with a charming accent, perhaps Brazilian... she'll know who she is. The rest of the team was absolutely fantastic. The fries that came with it were amazing! Bravo! 👍

22/08/2026: I went on a Saturday at 4 pm and there was nothing left in the display case, not even bread. I had to wait 20 minutes. Plus, the saleswomen were very unpleasant. Honestly, don't bother.
