27/06/2026: We had booked a table for dinner and were looking forward to it. When we arrived and sat down we were given the menu. It was given to us without explanation or apology and had crossed out all the main courses except for the Caesar salad and fish and chips. Since this was not even commented on, it makes me think that this is something you can experience when you eat here. So check in advance what to expect. We ended up at La Mezerie and had the best meal of the trip. It is recommended.

21/07/2026: We enjoyed a delicious cup of tea on a lively street. The comfortable chairs ensure that you are well-situated here, both literally and figuratively.

16/07/2026: A small café in the heart of Brantôme, impeccable service and delicious (homemade) food. The lemon/orange blossom lemonade was delicious, as was the pastry of the day, "Apricot tart and apricot sorbet".

25/05/2026: The staff were super friendly, the slopes were immaculate, and there were always free runs available during the two days my girlfriend and I went. We had a fantastic time for a really great price (especially thanks to the Sunday offer which was a fantastic deal), so we highly recommend it!

21/11/2025: Hello everyone reading my reviews. Excellent food, impeccable service, and a lovely setting near the Lay River and the port of L'Aiguillon. I highly recommend this place. The food is sure to whet your appetite, especially the fish dishes, or, for me, the eel with garlic and parsley – my favorite dish here. What more could you ask for? Enjoy your meal!

03/07/2026: We always receive a warm welcome at this bakery. The staff is professional and very pleasant. I go there very regularly. Today I forgot a shopping bag when I left. I didn't realize it right away. I called two hours later to see if they had found a bag of vegetables. What a pleasant surprise when the young woman told me that they had! They had indeed found a bag with groceries. She had put them aside in the refrigerator until someone called or came to collect them. I was very touched by her honesty and kindness. I thank her again sincerely. She will know who she is. We must cherish and encourage such competent, professional, and honest staff. Thank you again, young woman, and please don't change. It's very easy to leave negative reviews from people who are never satisfied. It's also very important to thank and encourage those who do a good job. Best regards.

20/06/2026: I went to the bakery on Friday, June 18th at 1:00 PM to order pastries for the next day. When I asked the saleswoman about placing an order, she made a face—I thought I'd walked into a car parts store! She told me it wasn't possible! Seeing my face, she went to check, came back, and said: "Tomorrow there are only two of them, they have a lot of orders, so it's not possible." I drove 16 km to get to the bakery; I wanted to order a raspberry tart and brownies because I was working the next day, in preparation for Father's Day. Well, no, because Marie Blachère bakery and pastry shop only knows how to sell: "Buy one baguette, get ten free!" In short, they don't make their own pastries, and they can't even take an order to preheat! So keep selling mass-produced goods, and as for me, I'm going back to my pastry chef where I find quality and service.

26/06/2026: I was with a tour group. Rooms are small by USA standards but they are immaculate,everything works.Air conditioning was adequate and it was 95 degrees outside.

15/06/2026: Great hotel in a converted convent, in old town and a short stroll from the Palace of Popes. The pool needs attention, but it's pretty remarkable to have one at all in a property like this, especially with how hot Avignon can get in summer. Dinner at the restaurant was better than passable, and fresh orange juice for breakfast. Ask for a room in the historic rather than the new building.

01/03/2026: The hotel is very well located, with parking, a decent room for the price, and a comfortable mattress. It was very quiet. Breakfast was simple. The welcome was very warm. Dinner at the hotel restaurant in the evening was also very pleasant, with delicious dishes.

16/09/2025: It was with a heavy heart that I went to Kaiten today for the last time. Like many regulars (who were here today), we frequented the restaurant for over 10 years. The atmosphere was truly special, familial, and unique. This was undoubtedly due to the exceptional care and attention of the staff. Of course, we won't find Japanese cuisine of this quality again anytime soon… We wish the Kaiten team all the best and hope to see you again someday, perhaps on another project! Thank you! Thomas

18/06/2026: From the moment we arrived, the welcome was warm and friendly, with very little waiting time. The pizzas are excellent and generous; I highly recommend them.

06/04/2026: Very warm, friendly and helpful welcome, clean, children's play area completely renovated as well as the pétanque court and the maintenance of the swimming pools, restaurant and bar all renovated as well.

15/03/2026: This family-run hotel offers simple but delicious cuisine. At €40 for half-board, this hotel, with its admittedly dated but clean and functional rooms, offers unbeatable value for money. I've been going there for 30 years and I'm still just as satisfied. The thermal baths are a stone's throw from the hotel, as is the ski bus to the Barèges resort (it runs every 15 minutes). No need to use your car all week. I sincerely recommend it.

24/02/2026: A friend was told to vacate her room at 10:30 am under the pretext that the next guests had arrived. Normally, a paid room shouldn't be vacated until noon. What's more, they took her as soon as she got out of bed. To console herself, she had breakfast at a café across the street where she was given a warm welcome!

24/07/2026: We're eating a hot meal. However, the two managers berating the employee in front of all the customers is really awful, it's incredibly off-putting. The poor guy gets grades and reprimands in front of everyone. Don't you have an office? What kind of way is that to treat people? And next to it, there are McDonald's job postings... NO WAY, what a humiliation!!

24/07/2026: 17 euros for a meal that includes 3 potatoes, unheard of!

17/07/2026: Always very good and all-you-can-eat. There's a significant price difference (€7) between weekday lunches and weekends/weekday evenings. That's a shame. Nevertheless, a very positive review. The photo shows a starter plate centered on the fried food.

14/07/2026: There really wasn't much left in the fresh and hot food options, even though it was 7:30 pm last night. Otherwise, the quality was decent.
