10/09/2026: Food very downmarket and not very hot. Wish we hadn’t gone

09/09/2026: The food was great. Ordered burgers and were surprised how great they were. However the service was disappointing. I think it was because we were foreigners and we did not speak the language. We wanted a quick dinner and a drink close to the hotel and this place seemed great. But the girl working appeared very irritated that she had to talk to us. We only got the food menu, once she came back, she dropped off the drink menu and asked what we will drink immediately. We asked for a few minutes since we did not see the menu before and again we got an eye roll. Overall i feel this is just how foreigners are treated or maybe she is just gen z and we did not fit her vibe. But the food was great!

28/09/2026: Honestly, I've rarely been so disappointed. The food was disappointing. The starter, a "local specialties" platter, made my Catalan pride ache when I saw that. The side salad, completely unseasoned, was pointless. Then came the mussels marinière with fries that would make any Belgian or anyone with even a modicum of palate blush—frozen, but oh well, that's not a big deal. No salt, no sauce, nothing, dry and bland. The mussels marinière were equally tasteless, except for the acidity, which had no business being there. And the wait! I arrived at 12:30 and left at 2:30. Avoid this place at all costs!

25/09/2026: We had a very good meal there; the fish was cooked to perfection. A peaceful setting for late September. Friendly and attentive staff.

28/09/2026: Beautiful view, lovely setting, it's a shame the service was so slow. Three hours to get to dessert!

27/09/2026: The waiter was completely unprofessional. He made us get up for a slice of lemon because he was tired from his shift. Bravo!

22/09/2026: I was very disappointed by my experience at this café-restaurant. The manager's welcome was disrespectful to customers. A clear lack of professionalism completely ruined the experience. Service and business require a minimum level of courtesy.

02/09/2026: I arrived at the drive-thru at 10:35 PM, but no one answered. I waited 10 minutes for nothing because no one was there. I parked inside to order takeout. Once home, it was a disaster: the fries were horrible and cold. I ordered a double Whopper, which only had one patty inside, and a chicken Louisiana that was clearly microwaved and awful—the bun was rock hard, the lettuce inside was inedible, and the cheeseburger was cold with the sauce spilled outside the burger in the packaging. I am very disappointed.

31/08/2026: Meh, passable. You really need to review the authentic recipe for Sète-style rouille because yours is just awful and disgusting. Mixing octopus, potatoes, and aioli haphazardly isn't the recipe; I was sick all night. The toilet was dirty, even disgusting, and there was no toilet paper. The service was frankly terrible, and to top it all off, you added a €10 difference to the bill—you thought we wouldn't notice! Honestly, you must have made a killing off tourists with this shady practice. For us, it was a first, and definitely a last!

28/07/2026: We went there today. The food was excellent and the service very good. We highly recommend this restaurant.

04/10/2026: Very, very good tagine. There's a small patio at the back of the restaurant if you want to eat outside.

13/09/2026: Very good, no problems with the service, and nice food, but the salad was sparsely filled – lots of lettuce and not much topping, which is a shame. The price hasn't gone down though. Thank you for your hospitality. 👍

19/08/2026: A refreshing break in Place d'Allier. Beware of the prices. We had two pints of Grimbergen Blanche... €18.80 for both. A week earlier, we were in the south overlooking the port in a tourist resort. We paid €16 for two pints there... with a much nicer view from a terrace... Place d'Allier is still just as expensive...

15/09/2026: What a terrible experience! The two waiters were simply very unpleasant. It was as if we were interrupting their work. Their tone, their cold and curt responses, and their overall attitude clearly made the customer feel unwelcome. The food was good, but the service really needs improvement. A minimum of politeness, courtesy, and basic manners would be the very least one could expect in an establishment that serves the public. I also don't understand how this restaurant can be listed in Le Petit Futé. It's a real shame, because the quality of the food isn't enough to make up for such an unpleasant welcome. I also want to preemptively address this, given the lengthy posts you systematically write in response to negative reviews: we are polite and respectful people. While this review is certainly unpleasant to read, it is genuine and sincerely reflects our experience. We were present, we know what we experienced, and we fully stand by what we wrote. Everyone is free to share their experience and opinion, respecting the rules and freedom of expression. Therefore, there's no need to rewrite our experience, question our visit, or try to portray us as people we're not. As for the contemptuous tone used in your responses to negative reviews, we simply suggest you keep it to yourself. A professional and respectful response would certainly be more constructive. And finally: it seems unpleasant people have a surprisingly long life expectancy… Given the level of unpleasantness displayed here, perhaps you've found the magic formula. At this rate, the bicentennial awaits you at the end of the road! First and last time. PS: Thank you for your magnificent response… very predictable in its form… Just another day in the life for you… I'll let everyone form their own opinion. But I'll reiterate: the food is good, despite your deplorable service.

12/09/2026: As usual, I had a wonderful evening at La Petite Folie. It's a restaurant I adore, my favorite in Orléans and beyond. The food is divine, and the service is both warm and professional. The restaurant's location is beautiful, on a lovely square. I come to La Petite Folie whenever I'm in Orléans, and it's always a great pleasure.

28/09/2026: Nice shop, overpriced goods, good but not very good quality.

01/09/2026: Given the numerous positive reviews, I decided to try this caterer. The products are of mediocre quality, yet the price is unbeatable. I recommend going to less touristy competitors who offer higher-quality products and, unlike Reynon, offer discounts on lower-quality cuts (e.g., I got a small portion of pâté en croûte for the price of a regular slice...). I hope this review sheds some light on this business.

30/05/2026: An excellent restaurant, the kind you rarely find. Everything was perfect, even though I'm used to dining at fine restaurants. This one truly impressed me. I wasn't expecting such delicious dishes, and the service was simply impeccable. What a team! You can feel their genuine passion for their craft. A huge thank you to Quentin, Loïc, Thomas, and Olivier: you are all fantastic.

15/05/2026: I was very disappointed by my visit to this establishment. We were expecting a pleasant experience, but it was a complete disaster. The food was unbalanced: Of the three dishes we ordered, two were excessively salty. The service was nonexistent and unpleasant: The two waiters were remarkably nonchalant. We felt like we were bothering them every time we asked. Special mention goes to one of them who seemed openly fed up with having to serve us. A little politeness and a smile cost nothing. To top it all off, construction work right outside the door punctuated our meal with deafening noise. No one bothered to apologize for the inconvenience or even warn us at the beginning of the meal. In short, avoid this place. For 60 euros per person, there are much better Italian restaurants in the area that respect their customers and their recipes.
