27/09/2026: The pizza dough is quite original, and the pizza itself is decent without being anything extraordinary. I gave it 4 stars because they were incredibly kind to make a delicious fresh fruit dessert even though it wasn't on the menu. It's a nice place that I'd happily return to if needed, but it's not exactly the kind of amazing pizzeria you dream about.

09/06/2026: This is my first time at this bakery. I bought two specialty breads (I tried one tonight, it was amazing, excellent!) It's the first time I've ever tasted such good bread. I can't remember the name, but it was a fairly dark round loaf. The cakes are beautifully presented, a bit pricey in my opinion. I'll buy some next time to see. The service was fine, nothing special. Overall, I recommend this bakery for the bread.

04/09/2026: I was surprised by such a warm welcome, and after reading other reviews, I'm not anymore. This kind of place shouldn't be open, or at least not with such a manager. Keep walking; there are plenty of much better bars in the area.

04/09/2026: A really cool, long and narrow place with plenty of natural light from the skylight and a large terrace overlooking the walkways. The rock music inside is loud enough to hear each other easily. The service is quick and convenient. The place has a foosball table, but I don't know when it's in use (it was covered at 7:30 pm).

23/09/2026: Disappointed every time because they always forget things in the orders. We only had 5 customers in the restaurant, but the orders were still incorrect. Please hire competent staff.

22/09/2026: First time I've ever had a cold McDonald's delivery (and not lukewarm, really cold). Of course, there was no compensation, and part of the order was missing. Not to mention the delivery itself was missing. I spent four years at McDonald's, and this kind of service should have been a warning sign. A little tip: put the hot fries on after the order is finished, not while you're waiting for the sandwiches. I don't even need to be there to know that. I strongly advise against ordering from McDonald's.

12/09/2026: Superb experience. Friendly welcome. Excellent value for money; we ate very well. While chatting with the staff, we learned that the products are sourced locally. Well done for this initiative; it really shows in the food.

12/09/2026: I'm a regular here. With the change of ownership, the place has become even more welcoming and the service is pleasant. It's a shame, however, that there haven't been any changes in the kitchen. My friend and I ordered the octopus, and I wouldn't recommend it: it was really not good, and its freshness left me wondering. I was also disappointed that no small gesture of goodwill was offered, not even a complimentary drink. It's a shame, because the place has real potential.

05/12/2025: It was very good. Vegetarian option at the same price as the fish! The wine was average. The first bottle of Bojolais had no taste.

30/11/2025: It's a place that reflects Mathieu's personality, inviting you to come and enjoy excellent food in a peaceful setting. I highly recommend it.

13/09/2026: Extremely slow service. We arrived at 7:30 PM, and the restaurant wasn't full or busy. Taking our order took a very long time, and then we waited an even longer time for our drinks. So long, in fact, that we had to go ask for them. When the food finally arrived an hour later, the burger was disappointing. The bun was terrible and dry. The steak, ordered rare, arrived well-done, and the cheese sauce was awful, with a grainy texture... as if it had gone bad.

03/10/2026: My partner and I came and had a wonderful time! The restaurant, recently taken over by Sandrine and Seb, is very pretty, welcoming, and full of charm. We had a delicious meal, with an excellent daily menu and beautifully prepared dishes. The prices are also very reasonable. A truly wonderful discovery; we will definitely be back. Thank you to Sandrine and Seb for their hospitality and this lovely experience! 😊

02/10/2026: A wonderful discovery after the change of ownership. The meal was very generous, the fries were fresh, and the meat was cooked to perfection. Special mention for the chocolate mousse, which was excellent. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. We had a very pleasant time and we will definitely be back ☺️

17/11/2025: We've been coming to this pizzeria for several years now, and we've always appreciated the quality of the pizzas. However, we've noticed a decline over the past few months. It used to be packed, but now, even on weekends, the place is empty. The menu has shrunk considerably, whereas it used to offer a wide selection that satisfied everyone. There aren't even any waiters anymore. We don't know what's going on, but it makes us feel really uneasy as customers. It's truly sad, because we still love the pizzas. That's our feeling, it's a shame.

19/10/2025: Please update the opening hours. We arrived at the restaurant on Sunday evening at 7:30 p.m. (it said it was open online), and it was closed. It was a real pain to find a restaurant open near Le Vivier sur Mer on a Sunday evening.

15/06/2026: All the pizzas were perfect, the welcome was great, and the meal was quick and enjoyable.

01/06/2026: Good (thankfully), but far too expensive: €4 for a Coke, €16 for a charcuterie platter, €17 for burrata, and €38 for a set menu. Fried food is an extra €8. Half a duck breast with only three slices was €23. Given the price, one would expect more quantity. Alas, this was not the case. We won't be back.

05/06/2026: At reception, they offer you a drink (we had a simple glass of water with a little syrup) which is charged for! At dinner, the waitress didn't know what the daily special was! In the end, the lasagna on the menu was reheated and probably not fresh. Breakfast was rather basic. For pilgrims, this place is not recommended given the price/quality ratio.

12/05/2026: If you're familiar with the Louis de Funès film "L'Aile ou la Cuisse" (The Wing or the Thigh), and especially the line "Where are the toilets?", to which the innkeeper replies, "Follow the flies," you'll feel right at home. The rooms are outdated and nothing like the ones on the website; you can hear the neighbor using the toilet. The meal was completely ordinary, with nothing Basque about it. This was the worst accommodation I've had in 10 days of walking the Camino de Santiago, and at €150 for a room with half-board, it's nowhere near the standard of a Logis hotel. I gave my opinion after paying, and the person's response was, "I'll pass it on"... eloquent indeed!
