04/10/2026: The aperitif came without any appetizers, the salad was served in a bowl for us to toss ourselves, and the duck and zucchini were tough (it was difficult to even pierce the duck with a fork). All the dishes were served at the front of the table, and by the time we reached the other end, they were practically empty. The same was true for the cheese course, but the waitress kindly offered us a second course. However, the dessert, a vacherin, was very good. And it was impossible to get a second glass of water...

05/07/2026: A lovely homemade starter, followed by a main course of duck and zucchini. Unfortunately, the duck was overcooked. A major disappointment was the cheese, which was industrially produced and pasteurized (in a farm inn!!!). I would have preferred even just a single piece of local cheese. The ice cream dessert was decent. The price is more than reasonable, as it's all-inclusive. The servers are friendly.

13/09/2026: Never! Inside, it was unbearably hot. The air conditioners upstairs weren't even on. Plus, everything was a disgusting yellow, and even the inside wasn't very clean. The steak was as flat as a shoe sole and tasted like cardboard. I ordered it rare, but it was overcooked! No one came to collect our plates; they were piled up to the ceiling. Two people had ordered takeout and waited about 20 minutes for their sushi. The sushi, the deli meats, the meat, the chocolate fountain… all inedible. They tasted like plastic, not chocolate. 07/07/2026: Excellent food and wonderful hosts! We had a fantastic dinner at Berbere Restaurant this evening. From the moment we walked in, the owners were incredibly welcoming, lovely, and so patient with our truly awful French! Neither of us had a starter, which turned out to be a wise choice because the portions are very generous—so much so that neither of us could quite finish our main courses. I had the couscous with meatballs, and my wife opted for the lamb shank. Both dishes were absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. We will absolutely return the next time we are in town. Highly recommended!

30/08/2026: Great hotel for a road trip stop! We stayed here for a night during our trip and were really impressed by the bright and unique design featuring cool industrial gear patterns on the walls. The vibrant green sink and sleek shower design added a fun, modern touch to the stay. Both the bedroom and the bathroom were absolutely spotless. The bed was large and cozy with fresh linens, ensuring a great night's sleep. The breakfast was good. While the selection was on the smaller side, it had everything you need — cheese, cold cuts, eggs, yogurts (including vegan options), and, of course, delicious coffee to start the day. The hotel provides free parking, and finding a spot was completely problem-free in the night. It is a huge plus that they welcome pets with no issues. We would definitely stay here again.

01/07/2026: Very disappointed with this bakery. The olive bread was the last straw: three times we found whole olive pits hidden in the crumb. It's dangerous, and I almost lost a tooth! Besides that, the bread itself is frankly not good. Generally speaking, the bread is very average. The pastries aren't anything special either, and they're often stale, with the bottoms completely burnt. As for the prices, they're completely outrageous. A simple slice of lasagna at €9.50 is more expensive than at many caterers, for a quality that doesn't match. I've tried to support this business for a long time because it's the only bakery near Plan du Castellet, but this time, it's too much. I won't be going back.
