19/08/2026: I came on Monday but it was closed during opening hours. Was it a holiday or is the store closed permanently because I saw signs saying the premises were for sale?

22/05/2026: Paid for food online and it said it was preparing food and was open. Walked there to find it was closed with nobody in sight. Also charged me for food already.

02/09/2026: Nou’man was our server at Square Delicatessen in Strasbourg. My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful meal of salad and Linghini Saison. We recommend Square Delicatessen if you are looking for great Italian food!!

30/03/2026: I was quite surprised to walk into this bar and find a huge Confederate flag. The "Texas" decor in a bar in Burgundy is one thing, but not the flag. In case you didn't know, it's the flag of the Confederate States during the American Civil War, states that united the slave-owning, white supremacist South. We find it rather problematic to display that. Otherwise, the service was fine.

20/09/2026: Stopped for a quick bite on a Sunday morning. It was packed! I got a tasteless apple turnover; I think the supermarket kind is much tastier. Same goes for the croissant my partner ordered. The coffee was pretty strong too; I had trouble drinking it. I'll go to a chain next time; it's much better.

15/09/2026: Although the food may have been frozen, the service (a woman around 30-40 years old) was very friendly and professional, the coffee was quite tasty, and the prices are pretty good. Overall, we felt very comfortable.

27/09/2026: This bar is really nice with a great-located terrace. The only downside... the chairs aren't very comfortable. It's still better than the old, unstable ones that were awful for your back... Otherwise, it's perfect. The owner is super kind and welcoming. I've been going back regularly for a year now; the staff is incredibly friendly. 🤗💜💜💜💜💜 ...I feel at ease...no one judges me. Well, you have to put up with the chairs. 🙄😉😂

26/09/2026: Venus's hideaway in Besançon! The atmosphere is distinctly Franche-Comté inside, the terrace is spacious and very well located. The selection is varied and there's something for everyone; I highly recommend it!

15/09/2026: Very disappointed… There were flies and the place was really dirty. The most worrying thing was that there were flies right around the pizzas. 😕 I used to come regularly, but after seeing this, I unfortunately won't be coming back. Hygiene is really essential, especially when it comes to food.

29/09/2026: Had a lovely lunch here upstairs. Between 1-2pm on a weekday is relatively calm. Food was impeccable and the service top!

15/09/2026: The food came in very generous portions and everything tasted really good! I especially loved the fish, they served us a whole fish, and it was absolutely delicious. The portion was so big that the three of us could barely finish everything! Great food, generous portions, and definitely a place worth trying if you’re hungry!

17/08/2026: Let me rephrase it more clearly and firmly, while still maintaining credibility for a Google review: We ate well there, although I found the prices very high for the portion size. But I'm most disappointed by the lack of professionalism. My shorts were ripped because one of their stools had a sharp edge. I immediately reported the problem, but no one offered any compensation or even contacted their insurance company. My shorts were a fairly expensive brand, and I find it truly regrettable that no solution was offered. I'm a local, not a tourist, and unfortunately, given how the problem was handled, I won't be going back.

15/08/2026: A very bad experience with the bouncer. A particularly unpleasant welcome and an attitude that leaves much to be desired. After refusing me entry, he clearly found it amusing to mock me with a woman outside. This speaks volumes about his level of professionalism. It's a shame, because an establishment can be very nice, but this kind of behavior is more than enough to make you never want to go back. Some people should perhaps learn that working at the entrance of a bar doesn't give you carte blanche, and certainly not the right to treat customers with disdain!

12/10/2026: Honestly, it was very good, but the prices are crazy! €22.50 without drinks is outrageous. I hope it goes under soon and is taken over by someone more serious. And I just saw that they charged me an extra €3 on the set menu! If that's not robbery, then what is the owner's kindness?

10/10/2026: It's a great place to eat, except the fridges run all night, which makes it difficult to prepare for the next day. Thank you very much.

08/07/2026: Avoid this place, it's way too expensive. The burger has a mass-produced bun, tasteless meat, and frozen fries for €18. The picture of the ribeye steak misled me! That's not at all what they serve! And we waited almost 45 minutes for our food. They need to stop opening restaurants if they don't know what they're doing...

18/03/2026: Almost 20 euros for a burger with frozen meat and fries is way too expensive. I don't recommend eating there.

11/07/2026: Very disappointed. I've ordered several times before. It's never really anything special (too thin a crust, not enough toppings, quite dry), but it was still okay in a pinch. Tonight, we ordered two pizzas… which arrived burnt. I couldn't eat much of it because it just tasted burnt; it was crunchy. Almost thirty euros for two burnt pizzas is outrageous. I definitely don't recommend it.

14/09/2026: Don't believe the photos, the dishes don't really look like that, they are ready-made makis with 90% rice and unpleasant people who serve you as if they were serving you and you weren't paying.
