12/04/2026: The hotel is very well located, the staff are remarkably kind, and the room we stayed in was very comfortable with a balcony overlooking the sea. The only slight drawback was the size of the room, which was a little small for a superior room, but this is a minor detail compared to all the positive aspects of the hotel and the view from the restaurant directly overlooking the sea and the citadel of Calvi.

04/03/2026: A very pleasant stay at the Hôtel Le Méditerranée in Calvi during a business trip. What makes this hotel truly unique is, above all, its exceptional location, practically at the foot of the Calvi citadel. The setting is magnificent, with a superb view of the bay and an environment that immediately gives the impression of being on vacation, even when you're there for work. I particularly enjoyed the swimming pool on the terrace, seemingly suspended above the landscape, offering a magnificent panorama of the sea and mountains. It's the perfect place to relax after a busy day. Another very pleasant surprise was the quality of the restaurant, with its refined and very enjoyable cuisine. It's a real bonus when staying there. And above all, a big thank you to the owners for their kindness and warm welcome, which give this establishment a friendly and authentic atmosphere. A truly wonderful place to stay in Calvi, ideally located just steps from the citadel and the town center, which I highly recommend.

04/02/2026: A Mexican sandwich and a drink for €8.20, and they only take cash (lol). You won't be seeing me again anytime soon.

03/08/2026: The staff doesn't monitor the tables; you have to ask to be served, and the peanuts are only for their friends. Two cocktails cost €20, and by the second round we had to ask again, and they didn't even give us the menu for the platters. On top of that, the evening staff had the nerve to put their dirty coffee cup on our table without asking; it's incredibly rude.

04/01/2026: A rather strange experience: no menus, no price list, so we didn't know the prices. We were used to a superb restaurant in a historic location in Orléans, so we imagined there had been a change of ownership. The waitress was friendly, but there was hardly anyone there on a Saturday night… which explains it. The dishes were, let's just say, very light: the pizzas, the salmon pasta… in short, unfortunately, we won't be going back.

03/01/2026: Very disappointed. I hadn't been back for a few years and I won't be going back. Twice my wife found metal wires in her pizza! Yet, a second pizza was made after three wires were discovered. The pizzas are small, and my cheese pizza was sickening: goat cheese, Emmental, and Camembert!? The crust wasn't cooked enough. Okay, they offered a discount on the bill, but it's not enough to make me return. Furthermore, the dining room and restrooms could use some attention to detail and a more refined atmosphere.

When I pointed this out to the waiter, he cheerfully came over to tell us that we were mistaken, that this was definitely a 1664... we Belgians certainly know the difference between a Belgian Grimbergen (which is not a lager at all) and a French 1664. And then they even come over to ask if we wanted coffee or dessert...

07/04/2026: While waiting for my appointment, I received a warm welcome and efficient, attentive service. The banquettes are comfortable, and the background music, at just the right volume for me, perfectly complemented my beer. In short, nothing extraordinary, but everything was perfect. If I'm ever in the neighborhood again, I'll gladly return. It's a shame the area is ruined by the noise of the cars, which take up all the space. A terrace would be perfect! Thank you!

28/07/2026: Hello. Lunch today, July 26, 2026. All-you-can-eat mussels and fries this Sunday at lunchtime. Always very good and the perfect size. Excellent Roquefort sauce. A shame the curry sauce is sadly no longer available. I'll be back before the end of the mussel season.

25/07/2026: For 12.95 euros, unlimited mussels and fries, plus a glass of draft beer for 2 euros, you can go back, the plates are loaded, you can take unlimited vegetables, the staff are very very pleasant, unfortunately the air conditioning was not working, but go there, it's until the beginning of September, marinière or with cream.

29/07/2026: Upon arrival, we weren't greeted. We got to the register to place our order, and two employees were chatting… I have nothing against that, but they still need to be professional. They weren't exactly the friendliest, but it's a fast-food restaurant, and it's fine; it's not a disaster. We ordered takeout, and when we got to the beach, we discovered there was no towel in the bag, and the sandwiches were overflowing with sauce… So that's quite a problem! Anyway, I wouldn't discourage anyone from going; it'll suit Subway regulars!

21/07/2026: Honestly, an excellent experience! Initially, I just came in to grab a 6-inch sandwich and leave quickly. But the young woman who served me completely transformed my visit to Subway. She was incredibly kind, always smiling, welcoming, patient, and very professional. She took the time to advise me based on my preferences, explain the different options, and answer all my questions with a smile. Thanks to her advice and enthusiasm, I ended up ordering a 12-inch sandwich, a full meal, and even several extras. You can tell she loves her job and genuinely wants customers to leave happy. It wasn't a hard sell at all, but simply excellent customer service and interaction. It's rare to find someone so dedicated and pleasant these days. A welcome like this really makes you want to come back. I work in Saint-Malo regularly, and thanks to her, I'll now be coming back to eat at Subway very often. She's exactly the kind of person who gives the brand an excellent image. A huge thank you to her for her professionalism, her good humor, and her smile. Employees like her are invaluable and make all the difference. She truly deserves to be recognized for her work… and, in my opinion, a nice raise wouldn't be out of place! Plus, she had a lovely, slightly husky voice—so cute! Thank you for the warm welcome and the advice; my meal was excellent! 👌🏼
