07/10/2026: We stopped at this cafe after the road to just have breakfast and drink coffee, cappuccino costs 3.20 euros!! The cappuccino is absolutely no good, it is prepared in some kind of machine, it is tasteless, the worst I have ever tried in my life. Toilet: a disaster, this is the only word I can use to describe it.. It seems like no one cleans there at all, it is just terrible 😩 The eclairs were delicious and the girl at the cash register was friendly, these are the only two pluses

04/09/2026: The welcome was good and the service excellent, however, hygiene and cleanliness were lacking, which is a shame.
18/08/2026: I only tried the coffee shop and the toilets.
The former was fine, nothing special.
It was the latter that made me want to write: STAY AWAY! "Filthy" is the first word that comes to mind. Pee everywhere, the ventilation system broken—I must have been dealing with a real emergency to stay there. If that's your situation, learn to breathe through your mouth!

24/08/2026: My favorite snack bar in Mâcon, and I've tried loads. I've never been disappointed at Bestfood. The interior is rather basic, but the main thing is that the food is good. Don't change anything about your recipes or your suppliers.

The Peking duck was okay.
The Vietnamese nougat was fine.
The fried rice was average.
The chicken skewers were disgusting.
But the cherros were great!

Homemade fries were brown, some black: they weren't cooked properly!
A shame, because the staff and owner were very friendly!
06/08/2026: We stumbled upon this bar during our vacation, while strolling through the beautiful town of Saint Savinien, and enjoyed spending several evenings there. We were always warmly welcomed.
What I particularly liked was the convivial atmosphere; the people are friendly, and you're politely included as a guest.
I highly recommend it! We'll definitely be back 😊

18/09/2026: A pint of Pelforth with a bitter taste, reminiscent of a keg that had run its course or a poorly cleaned tap. A shandy with no beer flavor. The waitress was warned, but no replacement was offered. We left without finishing our drinks, and after paying for them. Disappointing service.
I had a Pelforth on tap an hour later at another bar. The comparison is undeniable. And as a beer enthusiast myself, I know perfectly well the taste of the beers I drink and serve.

17/09/2026: €8 for a pint, even in Paris it's cheaper. The owner needs to learn how to run a bar. It takes 40 minutes to order, and if you go to the bar to ask about your order, they tell you to wait, lol.
14/09/2026: Waited for more than half an hour to order another drink, constantly ignored. Then received a bill without asking.

12/01/2026: Perfect! I arrived at 9:00 PM and they were still accepting customers. The service was quick and the staff attentive. The meat was delicious, the fries were scrumptious, and the salad was dressed just right. I'll be back!

15/08/2026: We bought a baguette yesterday. It was okay, but you could definitely tell it was mass-produced, so nothing special in terms of taste.
On the other hand, the granitas are a great idea, especially since there aren't many around here. We'll definitely come back for some next time! 😊
12/08/2026: The cookies are so hard you'd need a hammer, not a glass of milk. Impossible to eat them, ugh!

30/09/2026: The noodles were a few days old and very dry, the spring rolls were very dry, and the dessert buffet—if you could even call it that—was disgusting just to look at. You wouldn't have eaten anything. Avoid it.

27/05/2026: I came to spend a few days in Deauville with my family, and we decided to buy a carton of fish soup to take with us up north. However, we noticed a strong smell in the car. We weren't paying attention, but they sold us open jars. That's how you end up throwing away a carton of six soups. What a rip-off!

29/04/2026: Ideally located opposite the train station, the rooms are basic but clean. The bathrooms in the single rooms are tiny. The common areas are decorated in an old-fashioned style. The reception and staff are excellent. The breakfast room and restaurant are very nice. Breakfast is okay.
