The dining room seats about thirty, complemented by a tiny sidewalk terrace: it's best to reserve, even on a Monday evening, or you risk being turned away. As for the food: a fresh and generous Lyonnaise salad as a starter. The pea soup (offered as the daily starter) was delicious, light, and perfectly seasonal—ideal to begin the meal. For the main course, a quenelle served in an excellent crayfish sauce, though without any side dishes (no rice or potatoes) — surprising but not a problem, as the quenelle was perfectly satisfying on its own. The andouillette sausage, on the other hand, was served with boiled potatoes: both were cooked to perfection, and a wise choice that didn't make the dish too heavy. For dessert, the homemade chocolate mousse was the perfect ending to the meal — absolutely divine. 28/07/2026: A charming and soothing setting, a fantastic waiter, and high-quality products and flavors!! We visited the Brou Monastery just before lunch, and it was truly an exceptional experience!! We had to leave our table quickly without dessert to catch our train, so the waiter brought us a small, fresh, and delicious dessert on the terrace. A truly excellent place!!! 23/07/2026: Another excellent evening at Rooster! It wasn't our first time, and it's always a real pleasure to return. The atmosphere is welcoming, the service is warm, and the food is consistently excellent. I particularly loved the bluefin tuna with its bell pepper sorbet: a combination that might seem unusual, but is simply delicious. A big thank you to Chef Frédéric Duca, who came to our table to present the dishes and share his passion with such simplicity and kindness. It's these little touches that make all the difference and make the experience even more enjoyable. Can't wait to come back!

I had a traditional set menu (starter, main course, cheese, dessert) and a main course (quail fillet), all accompanied by a white Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The service was very good and friendly. The setting includes a well-designed and shaded terrace. I highly recommend it.

They were incredibly attentive and even accommodated my gluten intolerance, even though we hadn't made a reservation. So, kudos to the chef and his team, to the woman who tends the vegetable garden and ensures such high-quality cuisine, and kudos to the baker because the sourdough bread is simply divine and so rare in restaurants. The atmosphere is family-friendly and very pleasant, thanks also to the endearing presence of a beautiful black dog :-) The dishes were exquisite, including the mixed antipasti and Figatelli lasagna, the special of the day. The brocciu omelette was also special! Great hospitality and exceptional flavors, we had a wonderful time.
