01/09/2026: Hello, we went to eat lunch today and ordered two pizzas, specifying to the waiter that we didn't want the crust overcooked, and an egg. The service was very good, but the crust was overcooked and the egg was really overcooked. We've been going there for lunch for a long time and have never had a problem with the pizzas or anything else. Sincerely,

14/08/2026: We had chosen a €32 dinner menu with a “block of foie gras” as the starter. However, its freshness was not at all optimal, and we also mentioned this to the waiter. The main course was a “faux filet with peppercorn sauce,” but it was slightly overcooked compared to our requested “A point.” The dessert was a strawberry-based “coupe Melba.”

03/10/2026: Over 15 minutes of being skillfully ignored by the waiter, overall very unfriendly, all tables dirty, ashtrays full. Pizzas at neighboring tables were all quite burnt.

24/09/2026: Excellent service, which is rare these days! We had a wonderful meal in a truly romantic setting.

07/09/2026: I strongly advise against buying the cakes from this bakery, but especially the welcome and service, which were particularly disappointing. I went to buy a "Three Chocolates" cake and a fruit tart on shortcrust pastry. The Three Chocolates cake was practically frozen, so completely inedible when I served it. When I pointed this out to the saleswoman, she replied, in what I found a rather mocking tone, that it simply needed to be left at room temperature for two hours. They should have told me when I bought it! I obviously couldn't have known. As for the fruit tart, the shortcrust pastry was as hard as a rock. In the end, both desserts ended up in the bin. Despite this, there was no real reaction from the saleswoman, and no compensation was offered. During our visit, the saleswoman was also serving other customers at the same time. She did apologize, but this approach remains, in my opinion, very unprofessional and truly gives the impression that the customer isn't a priority. What disappointed me most, beyond the quality of the products, was the lack of attentiveness and consideration when I reported a problem. I find this behavior unacceptable for a local business. Honestly, I won't be returning to this bakery and I don't recommend it, neither for the quality of the pastries nor for the customer service. If I could have given it a zero rating, I would have! What a shame.

21/07/2026: The pastries are frozen, the cakes are mass-produced, yet the prices are "homemade." Only the bread is good.

06/09/2026: Abdallahi was a very friendly and helpful waiter, 10/10. We had a wonderful evening. Adem was also an excellent waiter—very kind, helpful, and accommodating!

01/02/2026: We came as a family, and the experience was very disappointing from the start. As soon as we were seated, the table wasn't properly set: only napkins and a knife, no fork. We had to get up to fetch cutlery from another table, which already speaks volumes about the establishment's professionalism. Shortly after, my husband ordered a non-alcoholic beer, but he was brought a regular one. Luckily, he asked before drinking it—a serious mistake, especially when you specify this type of request. The food then arrived, and that's when things got even worse. The fried dishes were soaked in oil, to the point of being inedible. Our son's children's meal (fish and chips) was literally swimming in oil, which is unacceptable, especially for a child. My salad… let’s not even go there: roughly chopped pink radishes, they looked like they’d been chopped with an axe, hard-boiled eggs that had clearly been cooked for several days, dry and tasteless, all drowned in dressing, making the dish sickening. My husband ordered a fish burger: not only was it bad, but there were bones in the fish, which is completely unacceptable and dangerous, especially in a burger. The small fried fish pieces had a very unpleasant taste of old oil and were, again, excessively greasy. As a result, we barely ate anything. To top it all off, when the bill came, the waiter tried to charge us for something we hadn’t ordered or eaten, which only added to our dissatisfaction. Finally, the hygiene of the restrooms was clearly lacking, which is particularly concerning in an establishment that serves food. 👉 Between the poor quality of the food, the disastrous cooking, the excessive oil, the service errors, the billing problems, and the lack of hygiene, the experience was very bad. We will not be returning.

27/03/2026: Very good, but only when it's open... I'm fed up with coming only to find the door closed. It's happened several times now that we've come during the posted opening hours and the subway is closed. Going all the way there, really wanting to go, and all for nothing is incredibly annoying and frustrating!

19/01/2026: I'm a little surprised to see some of the negative reviews. The owner might seem a bit distant at first, but we go every week and are always served kindly and quickly. The food is good, plentiful, varied, clean, and the staff are polite. What more could you ask for? Keep up the good work, we love it!! Laetitia

13/09/2026: The service was fine, however, what was with that speed bump at the exit that damaged my car?! I went over it very slowly and it still hit my car!!! If I have to take it in for repairs because of that speed bump, I'm demanding compensation from the McDonald's in Champagne!!!!

23/08/2026: At 6:15 PM, we'd been on the terrace for 20 minutes when we were asked to leave with a rather unfriendly "we're closing." The kind of place you don't want to return to during your vacation, despite the idyllic setting. The other shopkeepers in Neufchâtel are all very welcoming!

19/08/2026: The meal was very good. However, there was a small worm in the salad; we expected a small apology, but no one offered. We reported it to the manager, who dismissively stated that it was real salad. Okay, but it was poorly washed. No apology was offered. Otherwise, the meal was very good.

29/08/2026: ⭐ Friendliness: zero. Customer service: hardly any better. I buy a rosette sausage and pickle sandwich, pay, and then realize there are… no pickles. I simply point this out to the cashier, who replies: “We were out of pickles.” Fine. But in that case, why not tell the customer before they pay? So I point out that she could have told me. And then, the rather bizarre response: “I did it on purpose for you.” 🤔 On purpose for me? I’m still trying to figure out the connection… I never asked for a sandwich without pickles. I asked for, and paid for, a rosette sausage and pickle sandwich. The problem isn’t even the pickle 🥒. It’s perfectly normal to be out of something. The problem is the complete lack of information and, above all, the way they respond to the customer. A simple, "Sorry, we're out of pickles, is this still okay?" would have sufficed. Clearly, common sense is also lacking here.

25/08/2026: Unacceptable! Unlike other Marie Blachère locations, the one in Cormontreuil systematically refuses to make more sandwiches in the kitchen when they run out...

10/09/2026: This used to be my favorite pizzeria, but in 2026 they made absolutely no effort. I don't know what changed, but for the past year, the orders have NEVER been correct. There are mistakes with the pizzas, the drinks, even the extras like cheesy pasta. I just can't go back anymore, unfortunately. It's such a shame. After countless complaints hoping they'd improve the quality, well, it's over. You've lost a loyal customer. Today's problem: one pizza was way too salty, I've never seen anything like it, and the second one wasn't even our order, but at least it was good. In short, avoid this place.

31/08/2026: I ordered four undercooked pizzas, then when I called them they said, "Sorry, come on, we'll reheat it for you," after driving 33 minutes! Avoid at all costs; none of them can speak proper French.
