17/09/2026: When I saw "PASTRY" on the storefront, I stopped! I was disappointed because there were only 7 or 8 small slices of "cake," half of which were frozen. I was expecting more choice or at least some pastries. Parking is also difficult, depending on the time of day…

26/08/2026: Unpleasant staff and a very cold welcome. Not a smile, a curt greeting... It really felt like being at the slaughterhouse. It's a shame, because the bakery offers a wide selection and the products aren't bad. With a warmer welcome and a bit more friendliness, the experience would be much better.

08/09/2026: A very unpleasant experience. I simply asked, politely, for a bag to carry a baguette. The saleswoman saw fit to respond with disdain and make inappropriate remarks about "young people" and environmentalists, even though she didn't know me at all. It's regrettable that a simple request could provoke so much annoyance and gratuitous judgment. When working in customer service, the least one can do is show respect and professionalism. If you don't appreciate young customers, perhaps it's time to make way for a new generation who will know how to welcome customers without being condescending. I do not recommend this establishment, mainly because of this saleswoman's attitude.

04/09/2026: Very disappointed with the service. The waitress was really unfriendly and her attitude left much to be desired. We clearly felt like we were bothering her rather than being treated like a customer. The quality of the baguette was also very disappointing, really not good at all. Given the numerous similar reviews, perhaps it's time to rethink things and make way for more pleasant and motivated staff.

07/09/2026: Hello, I had severe food poisoning after ordering late on the evening of September 6th. Avoid eating there late at night… it's very risky from a hygiene standpoint.

01/09/2026: 5 stars for the quiche Lorraine, Basque cake (cherry), and the savory crepe with olives and bacon – all delicious. Beautiful, clean pastry shop in a charming little town center. Friendly owner.

31/08/2026: The Gateau Basque for two days old.. how is that even legal? I also asked for a 4 person and 6 person cake and they gave me two 4 person cake. One described as 6 people when it was obviously the same size. The date I have proof because under the cake it shows the date it was baked. They shouldn’t be selling old, stale Gateau Basque.

04/09/2026: Today I was served on a tray covered in sparrow droppings. Message to today's manager: instead of sending one of your employees to sweep the sidewalk at noon in an unpleasant tone, please make sure you serve your customers on clean trays.

30/08/2026: Forget about half of the personal details, unwelcoming. We asked for a drink and they gave us something else. Look at the assistant, no politeness whatsoever towards the clientele. I won't be coming back here.

15/09/2026: Excellent place, superb food. Friendly staff, very large outdoor courtyard at the back of the restaurant.

13/09/2026: I arrived with my family; there were 13 of us. Inside, it was unbearably hot, even though the restaurant was practically empty. However, I noticed that the terrace at the back was quite full. I asked the waitress if it was possible to eat on the terrace. She asked me to wait outside, which we did politely for 15 to 20 minutes, as instructed. She then came back to tell us that it wouldn't be possible outside after all, and that we would have to eat inside, despite the temperature being around 38°C (100°F) and the lack of air conditioning. A few minutes later, I saw several seats become available on the terrace. Knowing that there were many of us, I simply asked if it would be possible to sit at two or three tables. The answer was: "No, that won't be possible," without any explanation. I insisted, but I finally gave up. I don't like to accuse an establishment of discrimination lightly, but honestly, the treatment we received left me with that feeling. We were the only Asian customers in the restaurant and felt deliberately isolated and treated worse than the other patrons. So we went back inside. We then waited almost 30 minutes for a server to take our order… and no one ever came. In total: almost an hour wasted in sweltering heat, with real difficulty breathing because it was so hot. And all this while there were 13 of us ready to order. An absolutely appalling lack of consideration and professionalism. The problem isn't just the organization; it's primarily the way we were treated. I sincerely advise you to avoid this establishment, especially if you are a group of foreign customers. Our experience was extremely bad, and we will definitely never set foot in there again. Avoid at all costs.

29/08/2026: The dishes and trays were disgusting!!! It's shameful!!! Three Happy Meals, three identical books from the previous collection. No way to exchange them for other books or toys since there's nothing left. What a shame for a Saturday.

25/08/2026: Closed at 11:30 PM About ten people found it closed while I was charging my vehicle at the electric charging station

27/09/2026: We went there Friday evening with the children. Everything was very good. The burgers, mussels, and ice cream were fantastic. The waitress was very pleasant. Well done for your cheerful atmosphere! I highly recommend it.

19/09/2026: The crepe was good but arrived cold and with non-homemade chocolate. There were two of us, and one of the crepes arrived well after the first, so we didn't eat at the same time. The service was frankly subpar. The waiter was unpleasant and made lewd jokes to the customers. As for the waitress who walked past our table to serve another, she refused to take our order, telling us it wasn't her area and that she already had plenty to handle. It's a shame because the service significantly impacts the bill.

02/09/2026: A bit pricey for what it is, however the churros are delicious and filling.

15/09/2026: A very nice bar and restaurant, ideally located with a large shaded terrace, good food, and a friendly owner. Musicians often add a pleasant touch of jazz to the overall atmosphere.

15/09/2026: Great bar on Oléron, plus it's open when others are closed, go there, they're friendly

12/08/2026: Food was amazing! After eating at typical Paris Cafe’ we needed a change in cuisine! The food here was amazing and just what we were looking for. When we did not see exactly what we were carving on the menu, the owner took the time to inquire about what we wanted and made it happen! My children ate everything on their plate! Would highly recommend this restaurant if you want a good experience and food you know you will love!

23/08/2026: Very disappointed, expensive and meager meal, for dessert an industrial crepe made in Nantes which the waitress told me was reheated on a griddle (laughs) at €7, isn't that taking advantage of tourists...

05/07/2026: What a disappointment! Great band, but slow service, basic beers, and the tapas platter...it looked like something from a supermarket. When you think we have local producers making excellent products, to be served this industrial rubbish at an exorbitant price. As my husband, a chef, says, good food shouldn't be expensive. This was bad food and very expensive. We're from the area, and we'll never go back.

07/06/2026: Seriously the worst carbonara I've ever eaten in my life. I tasted two or three forks, but I had too much self-respect to go any further.

04/05/2026: The place is nice, but the waiter... My god... He's about as friendly as a prison guard! Four of us sat down, each ordering, and one of our friends showed up with his own sandwich. The guy practically threw us out, telling us it was totally forbidden, like we'd killed someone... So, customer service? There isn't any... And then, five minutes later, the guy over the PA system came up to us and said we weren't allowed to drink from our reusable water bottles, even though we'd already paid for our paninis... So we left quickly after eating and paying. I've never seen anything like it...

20/08/2026: I was served in my car by a very smiley little brunette, thank you to her and her good humor 😘

20/08/2026: The wrap that tasted like bleach in my ice cream had a hair, it really left something to be desired.
