30/08/2026: Lovely waiters, and affordable prices considering the quality of the food

27/08/2026: Absolutely disrespectful treatment. Ignoring the customers. When I asked for a table to eat, the waiter spilled juice on me while other customers were clearing their table. He stained my pants, shoes, and a designer handbag. He told me to wait. And he just kept going without attending to me, without apologizing, and without offering me any help or anything to clean me up. When I sought help from his colleague, he acted with the same indifference and didn't offer me the help I asked for or show any interest in me at any point. Naturally, we left without ordering anything.

06/09/2026: You wonder if casual tourists are by definition treated unkindly and rudely in this busy inn. Why? The only toilet in the place is dingy and dirty. Why? A regrettable state of affairs.

25/09/2026: Run away! I'm giving it one star because I can't give zero! On a weekday at lunchtime, we waited over an hour and a half for just an appetizer. We left when our main courses never arrived! The manager is rude, even aggressive towards customers! The cutlery and glasses were dirty. Such a long wait for so few customers is unacceptable! I do not recommend this restaurant.

26/08/2026: We go there very often when we're in Merlimont. Arnaud and his wife are very kind and friendly; it's a must-stop. Arnaud is a motorcyclist, which makes him even more likeable 😂🤟👍 so don't hesitate! Enjoy your meal!

11/07/2026: I discovered this brasserie today, and I loved it! The food is delicious, the prices are very reasonable and affordable, the service is quick and impeccable—nothing to complain about! I can't wait to go back and try the other dishes on the menu (everything looked so tempting!).

02/09/2026: Avoid at all costs! I won't even mention the quality of the sandwiches, which are really mediocre. But what shocked me was the hygiene. They take money from Roma people who beg and come to buy coffee, and they touch the kebab bread without washing their hands. Zero hygiene.

29/07/2026: Do not go there under any circumstances. Spoiled meat, suspicion of dogs or other animals, health inspectors have already inspected the property, no air conditioning, horribly ill for a month.

21/08/2026: As a local, it had been a while since I'd been there. But the decor and theme are very nice, especially since the interior renovation. The service was a little slow, but we thoroughly enjoyed our meal!

13/08/2026: Terrible service, 50 minutes for 3 tacos, unheard of, plus there's nothing to eat, it's dry, dirty place, and the staff isn't very pleasant, avoid it.

13/09/2026: Positive points: Dog-friendly and very good food and pizzas. Negative points: Everything else. Total wait time: 2 hours. One of the desserts had gone bad. The staff didn't appreciate us pointing out their mistakes (unusually slow service, expired dessert, and an error on the bill—the salad went from €5 to €15!). We received a rude response when we asked for a gesture of goodwill (which was granted) and when we showed them the error on the bill (which was refunded). That said, this is not the way to treat customers with legitimate criticisms that were expressed politely.

12/09/2026: We waited two hours, received a dessert that was past its expiration date (five people tasted it to confirm), and were verbally abused by the waiter when we paid (a €15 error on the till... he spoke to us like we were nothing when we were simply asking for a refund). There was absolutely no empathy or attempt at customer service; I have never experienced such poor service in a restaurant.

05/01/2026: It's a shame that this bar/restaurant has the best view of the port because the service is deplorable, the manager is a prison guard, never friendly… I came 3 times to have a coffee on the terrace giving him "the benefit of the doubt" but I never got a smile or a hello 😂 This time was the last time, I recommend the café next door!

08/12/2025: The waitress on duty that morning was disgruntled and disrespectful because she didn't have change for 20 euros and tried to get all high and mighty! Talk about driving customers away! Maybe she has a libido problem? And then again, given her size! I don't recommend this establishment because, judging by the reviews, this kind of behavior is commonplace.

19/08/2026: Excellent value for money, generous portions served very quickly. A wide variety of choices including traditional Chinese dishes, sushi, bobun... The chicken spring rolls are excellent.

04/02/2026: I stayed two nights, one of which was for business. The hotel is in a state of disrepair, really... it's completely dilapidated. Everything is old, almost abandoned. The feeling the hotel gives us is that "if it ain't broke, don't fix it?" They don't want to make a big deal out of it, like, "We know, but that's just how it is." For example, at breakfast, I witnessed a guest complaining that the coffee machine wasn't making cappuccino (but some kind of drink that was half water, half... who knows what), and the hotel employee replied, "Yes, that's true, but nobody ever asks for cappuccino anyway." For my part, I noticed that the Nutella expired in January 2026, and it's February 4th... Basically, the whole hotel is like that! The general feeling is one of "it's still passable"... You can't really say it's dirty, but why dust it? It's not broken, it's still functional, so why repair it? The walls are still standing, so why repaint them (or fill the holes)? The maintenance worker must be in jail 😂 That said, the hotel is quiet, all the staff are very polite, the heating works, the water is hot, and there are no bedbugs!! That's something, at least! I'm almost sorry to leave such a review and photos, because there's real potential. It's such a shame. Please do something! A fresh coat of paint on all the walls would be a good start.

17/12/2025: The room was outdated, nothing like the photos on the website, and poorly insulated. The meal cost €30, which was okay 🤷🏻‍♂️, not worth €20, but you have to take what you can get. However, the staff were very unfriendly, even downright rude. The two female guards last night were like prison guards. If they're not happy in their jobs, the customers aren't to blame. Otherwise, everything went well.
