04/09/2024: The good location of the Ancor hotel, friendly service and tasty breakfast somewhat compensate for some of the minuses. The disadvantages were the condition of the rooms - ours was small and the bathroom door was a makeshift room, it was difficult to maintain privacy in the bathroom. In general, the bathroom could use a facelift (e.g. the washbasin countertop is damaged). There is a parking lot at the hotel :)

02/09/2024: This year a little disappointed with the service: -sheets not changed during my 4-night stay. -no coffee capsules provided (I am a coffee lover). -no signs to put “free room” at the door, obligation to go to reception every day. Positive points: -Good welcome from staff -Air conditioning and fridge Sincerely

03/08/2026: This review is for the hotel only, not the restaurant. The location is excellent. However, the hygiene was unacceptable. There was a strong smell of cat urine in the entrance area – the owners feed several cats right in front of the main entrance, where they lie all day and presumably also relieve themselves. The room was very dirty, the floor was filthy, and the terrace was covered in bird droppings and obviously hadn't been cleaned. The bathroom was okay, but the overall atmosphere was musty and unpleasant. The owners' rude behavior was particularly annoying. We hadn't booked breakfast. The owner simply asked us if we wanted breakfast the next morning – we said yes, just for that one night. Despite this, he tried to charge us for breakfast for all four nights we had booked. Only after we spoke with him did he withdraw this charge. In addition, there was noise pollution: The restaurant is located directly below the rooms. When the restaurant closed, the chairs were loudly pushed together, causing an unacceptable amount of noise. I cannot recommend this hotel. Avoid this accommodation and book one of the many others in the area instead.

29/11/2024: We had a wonderful time! We organized a birthday party, and not only was the food delicious and beautifully presented, but the management even let us come early to decorate as we wished! The value for money was perfect. I recommend it 100%! Thank you again for your kindness, your warm welcome, and of course, the quality of the food you prepared for us.

26/09/2024: Traditional and delicious French food and wine. The service was very friendly and helpful in a cozy room. I would definitely eat here again as it was excellent value for money

13/09/2024: Une table magnifique où tout était goûteux avec un excellent service! Nos places au bar nous ont permis de voir le synchronisme de la brigade en plus d’échanger avec eux à quelques reprises. Nous avons été chanceux d’obtenir les deux dernières places. Il faut absolument réserver. C’est un resto qui accueille des habitués, toujours un bon signe!

30/01/2025: The Pubstore, a long-established Lille institution, is a true journey back in time, from its decor to its music and the puns used to name the dishes (I love it)!!! The food is delicious, made with fresh, high-quality ingredients; we thoroughly enjoyed it 😋. The only downside was the particularly unpleasant waitress, who seemed annoyed to be serving our group on a weeknight when the restaurant was practically empty… She made a mistake on the bill and demanded, in an irritated tone, that we pay the difference!! That's perfectly understandable, but there are ways to say things, especially when the mistake is hers… I still recommend the establishment, but the service is part of the experience, so pay attention to it 😉

29/09/2024: Very good restaurant: an excellent steak tartare with a huge green salad, an adorable fillet of pikeperch with a surprising coleslaw. The team is very friendly, the setting is pleasant with large bay windows overlooking the lake. I highly recommend

09/08/2024: Hello, I used to come to this kebab especially when there was a former boss. It has changed very well. My son called Wednesday at 9 p.m. to find out if he could come and order. The young man who was there told him yes. I travel with my 3 children and my back is blocked. We are 3 minutes by car from the kebab. He goes there to order. The young man tells him, oh no, I’m not taking orders anymore. While there were customers and he was still taking orders from a family who had just arrived. He's 16 years old, I can't tell you that he felt humiliated and what's more, he was made fun of. Well done to this young person who has no respect and who makes people move for nothing. We ended up at KFC.
