27/08/2026: Excellent restaurant; as soon as you walk in, you know you're going to have a great meal. Beautiful decor and wonderful service. The homemade fuze tea was excellent.

20/08/2026: The restaurant has two rooms, one of which we had reserved for 20 people for a birthday celebration (with a minimum spend of €25 per person). The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The balls are worth it!

22/07/2026: We stayed at this hotel for six nights, choosing it for its central location in relation to the area we wanted to visit (the Côte d’Azur and Provence). The hotel is situated in a very peaceful, hilly area, with no traffic or noise, yet just five minutes from the shopping centre and the motorway junction, and ten minutes from the centre of Antibes. The rooms are very clean and have all the comforts you’d expect from a 4-star hotel (minibar, TV, air conditioning, Wi-Fi). The breakfast is truly exceptional, with fresh, high-quality produce (I particularly enjoyed the freshly made fruit salads, the baguettes and cheeses, as well as the salmon, which was available every day). The swimming pool is a real bonus because it allowed us to relax every day after returning from our daily outings. I’ll finish by praising the staff, who were truly the icing on the cake: everyone was extremely kind and ready to cater to every request, from the reception staff and the breakfast/bar staff right through to the cleaning ladies. 11/07/2026: The person who answered the phone to reserve a table was very welcoming. There were eight of us, including three children, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We were warmly welcomed and served promptly. The staff were very attentive. I will gladly return and highly recommend it.

30/08/2026: My first review ever. Visited Paris with friends and had some amazing restaurant experiences as Capsule and Le Bon Georges. Both with very good food and service. We had high expectation to L’Escudella based on reviews. However we became very disappointed with both service and food. One of the waiters which should help us with the wine selection was actually very rude and arrogant. No assistance to get from him when we had some follow up questions. The food: which they call a 7 course tasting menu, was not worth the money. We got the last dish when we asked for the bill (it can be discussed whether it can be called a dish). No one asked if we wanted to have more to drink. We think that the restaurant was understaffed both at the kitchen and in the restaurant.

04/10/2026: I was very disappointed by the lack of understanding and flexibility. My elderly, diabetic father cannot eat rice, so we simply asked if it could be replaced with some vegetables. After asking the kitchen, the answer was no. I find it truly regrettable that a restaurant cannot accommodate such a simple request, especially when it concerns a medical restriction and not a personal preference.

This establishment exudes conviviality, but not only that, there is a warm welcome, always smiling, and behind this door at the back of the restaurant there is a secret, intimate place, perhaps for families, where they are busy preparing authentic and wonderfully good dishes, what am I saying, delicious, tasty, which invite our taste buds and awaken our senses, it is a place to know, a magnificent place.

24/09/2026: No complaints about the atmosphere or the service; both were excellent. However, the food has become bland, especially considering the high price. The delicious fruit juices and several other signature dishes that used to make the place stand out are no longer available. A shame.

20/09/2026: Very disappointed. There were four of us, and after two rounds of drinks, we ordered. I asked for a hanger steak, but without any side dishes. Of course, I paid, no problem. The waitress came back to tell me that the restaurant's policy had changed; they no longer remove items from the plates, and she told me to choose something else. I chose this restaurant solely to eat the hanger steak and nothing else, and I'm not going to change my order just because the chef can't remove a ladleful of beans from the plate. The restaurant wasn't full at all, so it wasn't busy. Forcing customers to change their order is bad business practice and makes no sense to us, as the request was simple. There was no respect for allergies, and food was wasted because if it wasn't eaten, it was thrown away. We went to eat across the street. We won't be going back, even though it used to be my favorite restaurant.
