05/09/2026: Honestly, a wonderful surprise! 🤩 I'd heard so much about it on social media, especially Instagram, and I totally understand the hype 😉 I chose a pack of 6 donuts, and of course, I couldn't leave without the Cinnamon Roll, which is absolutely divine! 😋 One of the best I've ever tasted!! 🫶 And to be honest, donuts aren't usually my favorite, but this... this has made me love them again! 😁 My top 3 are still the Beach Haven, first and foremost a classic but just perfect, the Vanilla, honestly a real treat, and in third place the Baby Got Back, which is indulgent without being cloying ☺️ And that's what I love about their pastries: they're generous, sweet but not greasy, and perfectly balanced 😌 If you haven't tried them yet, go for it! 😎

03/09/2026: A truly Italian pizza. Excellent dough, top-quality ingredients, and perfect cooking. It's a great satisfaction when you're abroad and finally eat a truly good pizza. The place is also clean and welcoming. The staff is extremely kind and professional. Top marks!

08/08/2026: Today: bagel with olive bread, Saint Moret cheese, avocado, tomatoes, cucumber, and scrambled eggs. Very good. Very friendly staff. Pleasant atmosphere. See you next time 😋 Very good (although a bit pricey). Very good zucchini/mascarpone/chive soup.

08/08/2026: Excellent concept, very pleasant welcome, and a fantastic atmosphere/environment. The only downside, in my opinion, is that the terrace is much too close to the road, but that's true of almost all the terraces on the surrounding streets. I'll definitely be back.

22/08/2026: We loved this crêperie! The crêpes are generous, delicious, and made with high-quality ingredients. The menu is varied, with plenty of options to suit all tastes. Despite the crowds, the service was efficient and relatively quick, which was much appreciated. The prices are perfectly in line with the quality and portion sizes offered. The atmosphere is warm and cozy; you feel right at home as soon as you arrive. A wonderful discovery that we highly recommend and where we will gladly return!

07/08/2026: Perfect! The setting is magnificent, the tableware and tablecloths are beautiful... The service and welcome are impeccable. But what matters most is the food: the presentation, the more than ample portion, and the taste!.... And all this for a very reasonable price! In my opinion, there's nothing to criticize. Perhaps the best value for money I know, and I've been to many restaurants... Not my first visit, and certainly not my last...

02/08/2026: Excellent experience at La Garenne restaurant. The thoughtful touch for those with gluten intolerance was much appreciated; it's so nice to feel understood when you have this type of intolerance. Thank you again for a lovely meal, and the pleasant outdoor space is a real plus. Highly recommended!

21/08/2026: Absolutely worth a visit From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcome. Every member of staff was friendly, smiling and attentive throughout our visit. The service was quick, warm and very helpful, creating a really relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. The crêpes were excellent. The kids loved their Nutella crêpes, the Camembert version was very good, and the Oriental crêpe was outstanding – fresh, full of flavour, beautifully seasoned and nicely presented. Drinks were great too, including a very good local beer, and the whole place felt genuinely family-friendly. A charming, authentic place with excellent food and real hospitality. We need more places like this. Highly recommended.

The place is superb and the terrace is magnificent, shaded... the welcome is warm. The rib steak is perfect, generous and well-accompanied... I highly recommend it! We'll be back...

05/08/2026: We spent 15 days in La Baule and loved lunch and dinner at 16 Art. A restaurant worth discovering. You won't be disappointed. A pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. Delicious, very fresh, and generously served dishes. Special mention for Mama's shrimp! A fantastic team. The waiters and waitresses are attentive, responsive, very professional, and always smiling. Go without hesitation! Barbara and François (regulars!) 😀

05/08/2026: We had a delicious meal and received wonderful service at this lovely restaurant. We sat comfortably in the garden and had a sharing dinner featuring, among other things, the octopus ceviche, the cod balls, fish rillette, a ball of prawns with mayo... everything was delicious and the bottle of Petit Chablis was a perfect match. The waitress was friendly and very attentive. We had a wonderful evening.

29/08/2026: February 22, 2014 A bistro awarded the "Artisan en Or" label. Arriving without a reservation, we were given the option of choosing one of the tables near the entrance: we sat at the one next to the bar, under the beer tap. From the daily menu, we skipped the appetizers and ordered the pork cheek à la Perle du Nord, accompanied by a bowl of fries (all you can eat!) washed down with a Chti amber beer on tap – the Christmas vintage. We also had three scoops of ice cream: Speculoos, Nougat, and Gingerbread, topped with homemade Chantilly cream. When we left, people kept coming in; the place was almost full. September 30, 2017 Regional dishes, generous portions, historic mining district. The only downside was the background music broadcast by an FM radio station. Blues, rock, jazz, world music, etc... a mix of other styles would be welcome. Otherwise, perfect. Second visit to this restaurant, not disappointed. Draft beers and wine list. October 10, 2024 Third visit. We had a wonderful meal. Regional cuisine with locally sourced ingredients. Themed music, a good selection of affordable draft beers... in short, everything runs like clockwork here. See you next time! July 19, 2025 The non-alcoholic Coconut King cocktail is perfectly balanced, well done! I thoroughly enjoyed the ficelle picarde as a starter, better than the one I had in Mers-les-Bains, which was already quite good. The Liège meatballs are a sweet and savory dish, a delight! The meal was generous; I had to settle for sorbets for dessert. I couldn't finish with the Liège waffle on the daily special, but that will be for next time. August 29, 2026 We started with the Coconut King cocktail, a non-alcoholic island-inspired treat, followed by a hearty vol-au-vent, tender homemade duck confit, and fig tarte tatin with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. Another delicious meal shared with family.

02/08/2026: We arrived yesterday without a reservation, and the waitress still found us a table for six despite it being very busy. All the staff were pleasant and helpful. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The food was very good and catered to the dietary needs of our guests. A great place to remember.
